24 Movie night

Man I knew this would happen she's been standing there frozen for a 10 minutes for now just steering at everything around her from the lights to the TV to the kitchen.

Dale:"Hello Titan to Sylvy is anyone there."

I tap her on the shoulder and that seems to do the trick. She turns around and steers at me with stars in her eyes if i didn't know any better i would thing she has a skill to do that.

Sylvy:"So are you going to make me ask or are you going to explain on your own accord."

Dale:"Well i can say what they do not how they work since i didn't make all this and no i can't say ho did before you ask."

Sylvy:"Ok fine then start explaining what are these things and what do they do."

Dale:"Ok first of all the lights are as you can see lights."

She looks at me with a scowl and that was all she had to do to say she wasn't amused by my joke.

Dale:"Fine your no fun the rectangular thing against the wall over there is a TV its a way to view story's like books but as a moving picture with sounds."

As i explain i can see her get more and more excited.

Dale:"The big box in the kitchen is basically a storage for food and drinks it keeps the nice and cold and as for the other things in the kitchen they are all used to make meals. So is there anything else you want to know."

She seems to be thinking about something guess i have to wait a little bit, 10 minutes later she turns to me ready to continue.

Sylvy:"Are you sure this is all."

Well there is still the PC but i don't kow if she can use that.

Dale:'Well that's good to know.'

Dale:"Well there is something else but you have to wait a wail before i can show you."

Sylvy:"Fine at least you didn't lie to me so about that dinner how long will you take to make it."

Dale:"Not long the kitchen is amazing for a reason go ahead and sit by the table i won't be long."

As goes sit i make my way to the kitchen to prepare dinner for the both of us, it took me a wile to think on what to make but i eventually decided to make some stake with some wine on the side. About 30 minutes later the food was ready to serve and i can see Sylvy's hungry stare as she can't wait to eat i guess some dwarven habits have rubbed off of on her. I approached the table with two plates of food and some wine.

Dale:"Here you go and some wine to go with it enjoy."

Sylvy:"Wow that looks good i have to admit that i'm starting to get too used to dwarven food."

We ate the food and made some small talk we talked about what to sell next and some personal questions like were we grew up, it seems like she from some dark elf kingdom from the land of darkness and seems to be some form of noble not that i care thou since i'm from a world were the notion of nobility has waned a lot to almost non existence. She seemed a little saddened at the fact that i grew up as a orphan and that i don't even know my own parents but i assured her that i am fine with it since i have a goal to live for. We finished the food and got up to go sit in the living room.

Sylvy:"So what is this TV thing what can you watch on it i'm really interested in it can you show me please."

Dale:"Sure why not i have the perfect introduction to the movie world to you."

I take the remote and turn on the TV and choose my most favorite movie trilogy in all of history The king and the rings the first one we will watch is the fellowship of the ring. I put it on and one of the

best openings start to play.

"The world is changed: I feel it in the water, I feel it in the earth, I smell it in the air...Much that once was is lost, for none now live who remember it"

I remember my first time watching the movie this opening seen set my love for the series the hole eerie whisper of the intro the seen of the army of men and elves facing the dark lord and the his eventual end at the human king and then the story takes a cheerful tone as it focuses on the shire and Bilbo talking about hobbits and their quarks its just perfect and it seems that Sylvy is enthralled with it as well. Almost 4 hours later the movie ends and Sylvy starts bombarding me with questions.

Sylvy:"That was incredible is there more of it that can't be all of it and what about that wizard will he be alright and whats with that ring its creepy and so that't what you men't when you gave me this ring you meant that ring huh?"

Dale:"slow down, slow down ill answer all your questions so slow down please your going to have a heart attack if you don't calm down. Now first of all there are 2 more movies that fallow this one and no we can't watch them now since its very late it was almost 4 hours long and if you want to know more of the story and its characters you will have to wait for next time."

She seems surprised that it's been so long.
