7 Chapter 7 - The Unlucky Fallen Trio

The three Fallen Angels are in a very precarious state. Moments ago, they are still spending the night as they alway do. But out of the blue, Asia returned to the abandoned church without Freed Sellzen who was assigned to her.

Raynare is angry, thinking maybe Freed went overboard with his 'fun' and forgotten about Asia. Thankfully the nun returned on her own or else she might have lost the Sacred Gear.

But then, she noticed a black cat that followed Asia on the side. She assumed it was maybe just a stray cat that caught the nun's fancy. It didn't really matter since the nun is going to die in a few days and letting her have her fun wouldn't hurt at all.

"Go back to your room." She ordered Asia but strangely, she didn't obey her order like she usually does and stood there fidgeting and darting her eyes at the cat.

"Haah… do you not understand? I said, go back to your room." Raynare ordered again and caught the attention of the other three Fallen Angels.

But suddenly, the cat walked in front of Asia as if trying to shield her from the Fallen Angels which made Raynare chuckles.

"A little stray cat trying to protect its master? That's funny. Very funny. Hahahaha!" Raynare laughed and conjured a light spear before throwing it at the cat. But surprisingly, Asia didn't look afraid at all which made it less fun because she wants to torment her by killing her cat.

Then, out of nowhere. A power and ancient power surged and filled the entire church. This made the Fallen Angels become wary and looked around for the enemy but found no one until their eyes landed back at the cat whose shadow does not match its shape and wriggling around with tentacles that caught the light spear easily and crushed it.

"W-What are you!" Raynare and the rest of the Fallen Angels become alert and ready to fight.

"Me? I am a familiar and friend of Asia Argento." A deep and masculine voice replied to their question.

"Now, how do the four of you want to die? I am feeling generous today that I am giving you the option to choose." The cat said.

But out of nowhere, the male Fallen Angel rushed at the cat and tried to kill it with a maniacal smile. Raynare and the others are feeling grateful for once the battle maniac would charge blindly at his opponent. However, it was short lasting as the wriggling shadow under the cat turned into a shadow monster with a giant maw and chomped the male Fallen Angel. The monster then chewed him up, making a loud sound of bones being snapped and crushed.

*Burp*

The cat made the sound and hacked out a few black feathers.

"Yuck! It tastes like raw chicken. I hope there isn't salmonella." The cat rubs its stomach with its paw before looking back at the rest of the Fallen Angels.

The three Fallen Angels immediately fell to the ground and rapidly crawled back in fear while losing control of their bladder.

"Uhm. Ray." Asia called and the cat turned around looking at her face and immediately understood what she tried to say.

"Fine. No attacking those who give up or incapacitated. Besides, I wouldn't want to eat those piss soaked Fallen Angels." The cat agreed without much hesitation.

"But, they deserve some beating." The cat then grinned again as his shadow transformed into tentacles and beat the living shit out of the three Fallen Angels until Asia stepped in again.

When the shadow engulfed them, Asia and the three Fallen Angels returned to the abandoned church again.

"Hey you three."

"Yes!" The Fallen Angels quickly replied with a fearful look on their face.

"Go prepare your finest bed and room. Make sure they are clean or else…" I said with an icy tone.

The three Fallen Angels immediately scurried away into the basement and completed my order.

Meanwhile Asia and I wait above. I stretched my body and jumped up to one of the benches, feeling tired . Not really tired physically but I felt like I wanted to rest and be lazy for the rest of the day.

"Do you feel sleepy too, Ray?" Asia asked after she picked me up and laid me on her soft, comfortable and heavenly lap.

Seeing that I'm not responding to her and my eyes slowly closing up, she takes my answer as yes.

"You worked hard today for me today. I felt so happy that my wishes are becoming true. You deserve a rest. So, sleep without worry." She cooed and caressed me like a baby on her lap.

Without even realizing, I had fallen asleep. Although my awareness of my surroundings is still there, annoyingly enough. But I could see her cute and warm smile as she gazed at me gratefully.

After Asia and I was deep in dreamland. Yes, I can dream apparently and I am dreaming that I am feasting on endless fatty tuna. Is it because I'm a cat now that I have a great appetite for fish?

Anyway, the three Fallen Angels saw that both of us were asleep. They tried to run away. Unfortunately, even in sleep. My eyes in the shadow are always aware and feeding me information.

So, when they tried to sneak out of the church. The giant shadow mouth is waiting at the front door for them. When they did open the door, their face turned white as paper and quickly crawled back into the church in tears.

They are lucky that Asia wants me to spare them. Otherwise, I'm not against eating a few of them. Fallen Angel surprisingly tastes good. But it needs to be cooked first, maybe because the taste of raw meat is bad even if the meat is A5 Wagyu.
