68 Chapter 68 - Joining The Fun
In the Hunting Field far away from Akiba. They settled for a Hunting Fields with mobs around LV 30 which Ray recommended for them to get used to the mechanics first as their ability after being translated over to Theldesia is a little different than what it used to be.
Sirin is the quickest to get the hang of it as after just a minute, she can already summon a screen of portal that rapid fire Shadow Lance at the Green Forest Goblins.

Although their classes are very imbalanced toward squishy classes. Their real combat potential isn't. More often than not, all of them are capable of both short and long range, capable of taking vanguard roles if needed as they are not strictly following Elder Tale's class system and. They also have their own power to factor in.
They form two teams, first is Sirin, Sakura, Abby, Asia and Ravel. Second is Sakuya, Grayfia, Raynare, Kalawarna and Mittelt. Both team enter the Hunting Field to grind levels and get used to the mechanics while Sebas and Kuroka watch over them.
As for Ray, he perches on a tree branch close by and looks at the chat group to check out on the others. Especially the last team which is without synergy and made up of a bunch of strangers.

Tanya: Yo, Admin. Is it you who set my subclass to Painter right? 😐
Tanya: Please change it. I'd rather have a functional one like an Artificer or Weaponsmith than a damn Austrian Painter. How is Austrian Painter even a valid class?

Ainz: @Shiroe You said you and your party were heading to Susukino to rescue your friend's guildmate right?

Shiroe: I don't mind. But you all are still around Akiba right? It would take hours to reach the Depth of Palms even by horse.
Ray: Who says we're gonna ride horses like peasants?
Ray: I'll open the portal.

Kazuma: Yo, admin. Are you going to leave me hanging like this?

In the Depth of Palms, Ray and Ainz appear from a portal to Shiroe and his party who are resting in a makeshift camp.
"Yo!"
"Hello, I am Ainz or you could also call me Momonga." Ainz extended his hand out and shook hands with Shiroe in his human form instead of Overlord form.
Then Ainz pointed at Ray and introduced him. "He is Ray, the Admin." Ray offers a handshake too which Shiroe accepts.
"Right, as you two already know. I am Shiroe. The Guardian here is Naotsugu and the Assassin is Akatsuki."
"Oh! Nice to meet you two. But, by the way. Between bo—" Naotsugu was kicked to the wall by Akatsuki before he could finish his question.
"Hello, I am Akatsuki. Shinobi in service to Lord Shiroe." She politely introduced herself with a light bow then eyes Ray as fellow short people in the group.
Ray nodded after her introduction. Now that he looked at her with his own eyes instead of through the screen. She does look cute. But she is almost in her 30's unfortunately.
"Anyway, how much longer would it take to reach Susukino?" Ray turns to Shiroe who is observing him quite intently.
"Ahem." Shiroe looks away from Ray and to the map on his hand. "Roughly another day if we keep up the pace and assume the rest of the journey will go smoothly."
"Hmn." Ray turns his sight to the depth of the labyrinth.
The reason why Shiroe is delayed was due to them trying to avoid unnecessary battle and thus taking quite the detour. But if he can eliminate the enemies then the detour would no longer be necessary.
"Hey, Ainz." Ray turns to Ainz with a grin and remembers a certain Arch Wizard in Kazuma's party would be dying for this opportunity.
"Of course, senpai." Ainz said without needing to listen to the request before his ornate golden staff appeared and almost blinded the other three from the sheer extravagance of the Guild Weapon, Staff of Ainz Ooal Gown.
"Boost Widen Magic - Nuclear Blast!" The space where the golden staff points is suddenly engulfed by blinding white light and a deafening ring that causes ears to bleed if not for Ray blocking them off.
Once the dust settles, Ainz notices the sky is still not visible. So, he cast a few more Nuclear Blast until the sky is within sight along with the other side of the wyvern infested mountain top.
Just when Shiroe and Naotsugu were about to summon their Griffons. Ray stopped them as someone appeared from his shadow. Shiroe didn't bother to ask because Ray's class is summoner so he thinks Ray is going to summon a flying mount that can carry them all. He did and summoned a large western dragon with celestial blue scales before everyone climbed on her back.
"Senpai, I thought you were hunting all the dragons. How come this one is alive?" Ainz wondered curiously and the others overheard their talk.
"Hmn, I spared this one because she's a female and there's no Phallus to harvest." Ray shrugs to Ainz who nodded but the other three caught by surprise. Harvest dick? Why harvest dick? They wonder.
Anyway, the dragon flapped its wings a few times more and they weren't speeding through the sky at an insane speed. Less than ten minutes later, they arrived in the outskirts of Susukino as the walled city was within sight under the night sky.
Ray stopped the dragon on the outskirts of Susukino to prevent panic. They then continue by foot.
"I already contacted the player." Shiroe said. "We arrived a little too early and we caught everyone off guard with this. Including the harasser."
"Alright, when it's time to bail out. Just message in the Chat Group, we will come running." Ray waved them goodbye before he and Ainz took a detour after entering the city gate.
"Eh? You two aren't coming with us?"
"No. Senpai and I have a little something to do." Ainz said vaguely which made Shiroe crease his brow but he said nothing more but sighed and nodded before he and his team went his own way.
