59 Chapter 59 - Kazuma & The Orc Invasion War

Hello everyone. My name, as you should already know, is Satou Kazuma. Just a humble Isekai protagonist.

My death compared to others, is rather… difficult to talk about. As A result, my soul was selected and given a chance to be transmigrated to a fantasy world and go on a quest to defeat the Demon King. However, one day I received a System named Isekai Chat Group.

At first I suspect it being a special feature given to the people that got transmigrated into the fantasy world, sort of as a tool to communicate with other fellow people from Earth. But it turns out I was mistaken and very much wrong with my assumptions.

In the Chat Group is another 'Isekai protagonist' and the System was created by the Admin who is a God according to Ainz who is the eldest member aside from the Admin.

At first I had doubts. But after looking at the shop. I don't doubt it at all after looking at the Chat Group Store. In fact, I resent that I ended up with that stupid Goddess Aqua instead of this system.

"Isn't this Excalibur?"

"Holy shit! Strike Freedom! Barbatos! Pegasus! The shop has all kinds of Gundam!"

I couldn't hide my excitement as I salivated while scrolling through the entire shop and found more and more absurd things on sale.

But everything in the shop costs points. Unlike the Admin and Ainz who can spend millions like nothing. We new members are poorer than paupers.

The only method of receiving points is through daily sign-in and missions.

Daily sign-in yields 10 to 100 points randomly. When I did it, I got 100 points immediately. I remember the guild receptionist lady said I have very high luck. Maybe that's the reason. But even if I earn 100 points a day. I am still very far from my target as the cheapest Gundam is a few hundred thousand points.

Then the Admin suddenly announced everyone will conduct the first guild mission.

Of course, I am excited even if the rewards are very low as the lottery tickets are the main attraction. The Lottery is basically a roulette wheel with random rewards that range from random amounts of points to random items from the shop.

But when I actually arrived at the mission stage, I realized something. Among the Group Chat members, I am quite literally the weakest. Even compared to the natives, I am worse than a goblin child.

"This isn't fair! This is injustice!" I cried as the whole game was rigged against me.

How exactly am I going to compete for the contribution rewards when I'm not even qualified to participate in the battle?

But not yet giving up, I went to Ainz for consultation. Despite how Ainz looks, he is actually quite friendly after I could get past his terrifying appearance.

"Hmn. As much as I wanted to help, Senpai said I can't give you anything outside of your own power level. So, at most I can offer equipment that suits your level."

Hearing this, I am disappointed and slightly resentful of that Admin. But I can understand the reason behind it as Ainz explained to me that giving me something too powerful will make me rely on it instead of taking effort to raise my actual strength and just keep relying on the cheat.

In the end, I simply accepted the equipment Ainz offered, which is armor set for Rogue, a pair of daggers, a short bow and a pouch of a throwing knife. Since I explained my combat style is more like a Rogue.

Then, fast forward to the day of the battle. While Ainz and the Admin went directly to the plain where the major frontline will be, Hajime and Tanya are following Rimuru's subordinates to sweep the Orcs that are attacking Rimuru's allies.

As for myself, I am staying at the Goblin village. I'm neither strong nor capable. Why should I send myself to death by fighting enemies that obviously outclassed me?

But unexpectedly, the village still came under attack by the Orc.

"Fuck! I thought being in the village would be safe. In the end, I still have to fight!" I cursed while holding back my tears and knocked an arrow on the stretched bowstring.

"Snipe." I cast my skill and the steel arrow immediately flew once I released the string.

Using foresight, I could see the enemies very clearly and I saw the arrow sail through the air and hit an orc straight between its eyes where the helmet is exposed.

"Oh! I can hit a target from that far!" I looked at the bow in disbelief because I knew my own limit, I shouldn't be able to hit that accurately and that hard.

But when I thought it was the end, the arrow suddenly glowed up and exploded, killing the orc.

I slapped my face once to check that I'm not dreaming before I took a look at the equipment given by Ainz using the System's Observation function. Admittedly, I should have done it sooner. But I was an idiot back then to feel depressed and forgot about checking out the equipment.

Turns out the equipment Ainz gave is definitely a cheat level item. Not only have my stats increased, but because it was a set item, it allows me to use special abilities and the explosive arrow is one of them.

"Suit my level, my ass! With this! I can take on anything without fear! Hahahaha!" I excitedly laughed as I rained down arrows on the orcs. "Come! Come to daddy and become my EXP!" Kazuma charged at the enemies when blinded by his confidence to be carried by a godly equipments.

With Ainz.

Ainz is standing inside the array of magic circles and symbols that extend outward from him with a blue pillar of light as he is casting his Super Tier Magic. It has a long casting time and he had to wait, semi nervously but calmed down when Ray reassured him he is protected.

During that idle moment, Ainz recalled something.

"I think I forgot to explain to Kazuma-san that the equipment set's ability has severe drawbacks in exchange for power since the stats increase is temporary and for emergency use only." Ainz facepalmed. But then he remembers Kazuma is in the Goblin village and well protected.
