19 Chapter 19 - Meeting the Phenex Clan
"Master, I cannot help but suspect that the reason you brought me along is because of that Devil named Grayfia." Sakuya said with narrow eyes, giving me side eyes.
I immediately turn my head away to avoid her gaze.
"I mean, both of you look alike. She is basically your doppelganger but older… and bigger boobs too." I said the last part silently but she still heard it.
"Is that dissatisfaction I heard, Master?" She said with a dangerously sharp tone.
"No. Nothing." I said before pretending to whistling while Asia laughed at our playful banter.
"Still, you looked very scary just now, Ray." Asia said with a shiver on her body.
"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to scare you." I stopped walking for a moment and gave her some headpat using the tentacle.
"It's alright, Ray. I am not afraid." She said while sounding more like she is trying to convince herself. "You are my friend. You wouldn't hurt me right, Ray." She looked at me before she asked.
"Of course." I replied as it's obvious I would hurt her or any of my girls as a matter of fact.
"There! I will not be afraid of you because I know you wouldn't hurt me." Asia said, reaching her conclusion of the argument.
As for me, I can't help but smile wide as she trusted me that much. Can't be any happier than this.
"Oh shit! You two go back without me. I forgot to fetch Sirin and Sakura." I said in a panic and warped away with my shadow.
With Sirin and Sakura.
"Die! Die! Die! Die! Die! Die! Die! Die! Die! Die! Die! Die! Die! Die! Die! Die! ALL OF YOU! DIE AND BECOME OUR NOURISHMENT! HYAHAHAHAHA!"
The two feminine and psychotic sounding voices echo the deeper chamber of the grand labyrinth as cries and wails of dying and horrified monsters can be heard haunting the labyrinth which will become a very popular urban legend amongst the Adventures of this Labyrinth City especially with numerous sightings of the aftermath with is ground soaked by blood and crystals that were left behind.

The next day, the heir of Phenex arrived at the doorstep of the mansion.
Well, we promised to further discuss the matter of our deal. So, him appearing isn't all that big of an issue. But I simply didn't expect it would be this quick since we never really choose a date as the other side is unsure when they can fully prepare given my status and all. The Phenex Clan simply wouldn't settle for a simple meeting.
Well, not that I am not aware they are trying to use my presence to shit on the Gremory Clan, which I allow since I am still salty over it.
So, besides the meeting to discuss the details, they also prepare a little ceremony to boast about the relationship between us and to flex over the rest of the Underworld that they, the Phenex Clan have the favor of a Primordial God, all while shitting on the face of the Gremory Clan.
"Greeting, Your Excellency. I came with the invitation to our territory in the Underworld." Riser said after Sakuya invited her in.
"No need. I don't feel like sitting in a train for a few hours even if it's a magical train. I can bring everyone directly to the Underworld." I said before using my shadow to warp us directly to the Phenex mansion.
Of course, the display of power shocked Riser as even normal gods have no way to directly enter the Underworld without crossing the Dimensional Gap as the Underworld is a separate world from Earth.
Well, after that. Riser invited us all into his home and directly met Lord Phenex along with the rest of the Phenex Clansman that gathered at a beautiful and excessively large and decorated room.
On the other side is the Lord and Lady Phenex with their children standing behind them while on my side is me and the girls sitting with Sakuya only standing at the back since she is a maid.
Sirin and Sakura didn't hide their childish curiosity as they take in the view of their surroundings while Lord Phenex is laughing happily that his guest is impressed. Not me though. As for Asia, she is trying to be polite and doesn't stare much. Not that anyone would mind.
"Welcome, Your Excellency. However, it is hard to keep addressing you that way. May I learn what your name is?" Lord Phenex started with a sly question that aimed to learn my identity on top of having an easier way to address me.
"Just call me Ray."
"I see, Lord Ray." His expression didn't change after assuming I gave a fake name or alias.
"Then, let's discuss the details about what we talked about yesterday." Lord Phenex said and I nodded as I like to get straight to the business.
"I said that I will provide my power to one of you family members of my choosing." I said and Lord Phenex gave a quick nod. "I have a reason for this term as you already know, I am a god. The chosen one will become my apostle." I said, definitely lying out of my ass.
But Lord Phenex nodded understandingly. "I already guessed this is the reason. My two eldest sons are crucial to the Phenex house since they are managing the businesses of the Phenex Clan and Riser is my heir. Therefore, the only candidate left is my daughter, Ravel."
I gave an acknowledging nod as everything proceeded as my keikaku dictated.
"Yes, she is the one I choose to be the candidate." I answered and added. "I also understand your difficulty in letting go of your daughter. However, I promise that I will properly compensate for the losses on top, separately of the deal I promised."
Hearing this, the Lord Phenex couldn't even hide his smile as compared to marrying off his daughter to another heir, giving his daughter to a power god will guarantee her safety and wellbeing. Besides, from the look at the girls accompanying me, they wouldn't even need to worry about their daughter being lonely. It's already the best he could ask for in the perspective of a father. Then there's the deal and compensation which satisfied him as the patriarch of the Phenex Clan.
Without even need to further discuss and thoughts, Lord Phenex agreed instantly and we proceed to the part where I give Ravel the power I promised and fully cementing her status as my 'apostle'.
I summoned a silver saucer with a five pointed star at the base of it and placed my paw before it before conjuring a bladed tentacle to slash my paw to bleed out my pitch black blood until the star is no longer visible.
"Drink it as we proceed with the appointment ceremony." I ordered before the blond with twintails walked forward with her mustered up confidence although still looking a little pale and nervous. However, with an encouraging look from her father and mother, she mustered up her courage and picked up the saucer very carefully and delicately so as to not spill any of the inky black ichor.
She held the saucer before her lips before carefully pouring it's content into her mouth which surprisingly didn't taste bloody as she expected from a blood. Instead it tastes like nothing. Tasteless and only has a fluid like sensation as it passes through her mouth and she gulps it all down.
"Then, I shall bestow upon you this shrift with the letter P with the epitaph, The Phoenix. The immortal blazing divine bird, most befitting of the daughter of the Phenex Clan."
Immediately, a dense power from within her spilled out accompanied by a loud cry of an avian nature, motes of black fire floated on the air like falling snow in reverse. Then a black fire burst out from the ground, consuming her body whole before she revealed herself again with a new pair of wide and long pitch black blazing wings. The heat alone causes everything in the room to either combust in black flame or melt.
Of course, I made sure no one is hurt by isolating everyone in a separate mirror dimension. The Lord Phenex along with the rest of the Phenex clan cannot hide their astonishment. Ravel's power definitely reached the Satan Level or even beyond. That alone tells that the customer satisfaction is no doubt, through the roof.
"How is it? Lord Phenex?" I asked, already knowing his reaction and response through the combination of guess and future vision.
"This is amazing… no, this is great. So great I cannot put a word to describe it." Lord Phenex replied.
"Good that you are satisfied." I said before turning to Ravel. "You can stop now or you will burn down the whole mansion at this rate." I said to Ravel before she hastily dismissed her wings obediently.
"Now, how about we talk about compensation?" I brought up the topic but Lord Phenex shook his head.
"This is already more than what I expected. To think our Phenex House could ever get a Satan-Class member. This is more than enough. More than anything I could ever have expected, even." He said with a wide grin on his face.
"Well, if you said so." I shrugged. It's not my loss really.
