1 How it ended

Hello my name is (or was) John. I was your typical otaku. I stayed at home all day and rewatched Naruto because I didn't find that much interest in searching for new anime just to find out that they're not to my liking.

As for my looks, well I'm so handsome that girls can't get enough so their brains go into overdrive and mistook my handsomeness with me being ugly and got a look of disgust when they see me.

I have black short hair that go with my dark brown eyes. As for my face it's extremely handsome if I do say so myself. My height was about 5'7 and I weighed about 220 lbs. Even with this I couldn't get a girlfriend although I tried my best and confessed to countless girls but for some reason they rejected me and laughed at me.

On a normal day I decided to go out for a run (which I normally don't do). It was a cloudy day but other than that the weather was perfect.

I had just finished rewatching Naruto for like the 10th time so I decided to do something productive.

I walked around my neighborhood and decided to go to the convenience store because I was running out of chips and other things to snack on.

While I was crossing the road I noticed a little girl running after her ball which was rolling towards the middle of the road.

I thought to myself 'hope she doesn't get run over'.

And as if it was a premonition that's exactly what was about to happen. At first I didn't even think much about it because I thought I was dreaming and something like this wouldn't happen on the only day that I decided to go out and do something productive which put me into a daze.

But then when I got back to my senses I was already in front of the truck pushing the little girl out of the way in order to save her. I then realised that my time had come.

I could only think 'who knows I might be rewarded for my good deed. Maybe I'll be reincarnated into an anime world, I mean this is how many MCs get reincarnated. Well truck-kun never misses it's target'.

I could only wish that the place I got reincarnated would be somewhere peaceful and I place that I know really well.

Then it happened, the truck finally hit. I didn't feel pain I just lay there fading into darkness. At first it was scary and cold, but then it was comfortable and warm. At the end everything just went dark.

After some time I woke up in a pure white room that seemed to extend as far as the eye can see.

My only thought was 'huh so the place is really like they described it in the fanfics'.

And then I heard a calm and somewhat deep voice say "you have come brave one".

This is my first chapter ever so sorry if it's short and please tell me of there's anything that I can improve to make the story better.

I'll try to make future chapter longer from somewhere around 800-1000 words which is about double this one.
