79 Demon Lord awakening/ The gathering of angels.

(Experiencing a bit of writer's block right now. So I might do slime diaries or a side chapter next to see if I can fix it. Also, I kinda feel like I should have delayed this arc and followed with the original plans but oh well.)

"You all must be wondering why I have called all of you today. And the reason for it is because all of you have a demon lord seed. You all have worked hard for the potential to awaken. And now it is the time to make that final push. It is time to become a demon lord."

I looked at the people gathered in front of me and gave a nod.

"Should we begin?"

Ever since we had been attacked everyone who fought had increased their efforts to grow stronger. And it was now that they would be able to enjoy the benefits.

There was a long list of people who would have to receive the benefits. And we would start with the primordials.

"Diablo, you have done a lot of work that I have not been able to reward properly. Even though I don't find this a sufficient reward it will have to do for now."

"My lord, just allowing me to serve you is all the reward I need. Anything else is unneeded."

[Activating Yaldabaoth.]

A surge of energy reached Diablo and he was enveloped by shadows for a moment before he was revealed once again. The only change you could spot physically was the fact that his butler suit had changed slightly, looking a bit more refined. Yet you could judge by his aura that his strength had increased.

"Kufufufu, I thank you for the gift, my lord. I will make sure to use it to assist you. If anyone dares to stand in your way I will make sure to eliminate them."

Diablo stepped behind me and nodded to the other primordials to step forward. Since he was the strongest and my right hand he was the one who usually would boss them around.

"Testarossa, Carerra, Ultima, Rain. It hasn't been long since all you joined me, however, you have all shown your loyalty. I will admit this is a bit earlier than I would have hoped but I know all of you will not disappoint me."

The four primordials kneeled and bowed their heads. And moments later they all experienced something similar to what Diablo had gone through. They had gone through the full evolution process in just seconds. And though their eyes looked a bit tired they followed Diablo's example as they stood behind me.

This process continued with everyone who was in front of me.

In total, I had awakened 20 people. They were the ones who had a demon lord seed in them

The five primordials under me, Shion, Shuna, Benimaru, Souka, Souei, Adalman, Geld, Kumara, Ranga, Zegion, Hakuro, Silk, Hanzo, Gutmut, Varuut.

Unlike the primordials, they were not able to resist their sleepiness so I told them to rest. Surprisingly, even though their races had changed they didn't experience any major appearance changes. The only exception was Hakuro. His aged appearance began to regain his youth. His hair remained a silver color but the wrinkles in his face disappeared.

Ciel and I had taken this chance to provide them with some skills from Ars Goetia. As the evolution would assist them in integrating them. In fact, Ciel got to do her favorite thing and play around with skills. She assisted them in the awakening and fusing of their skills. Their true power would remain to be seen.

At this moment a large portion of Tempest army had fallen into a deep sleep as they evolved. After all, those who were connected to the ones that evolved would also receive a blessing due to the effects of the harvest festival. This may have been an unconventional awakening but it still followed the regular process.

This might be called an extremely stupid move. Making the entire army I had built go to sleep when I was in a situation in which I could be attacked at any moment. However, I had something that made me decide to go with it. The skill I had copied from Laplace, the skill to foresee the future.

Ciel and I had discovered that it was limited to only a few seconds, a limitation that was broken when we fed the skill steroids, or in other words, the energy from Turn null. Even though I could now see enough into the future to make sure we wouldn't be attacked we had discovered another limitation.

We could only see what would happen in our world around two weeks in the future. Which meant I couldn't use my skill to cheese the search for Michael. As long as he was outside of this world he would remain outside my detection.

All I could guarantee for now was that we had the freedom to proceed with the evolution process.

(3rd pov. ???)

In a different world, the last remains of humanity were fighting for their lives. For far too long the world had remained divided, and it was due to that divide that they were not able to fight the threat that had appeared.

It was only when the enemy had the upper hand that the races of that world had decided to unite. But by that time, even if they had perfect coordination, they stood no chance.

Surrounded by the enemy, the last humans were rounded up. In their hands, they held many different types of weapons. But they were battered and destroyed, their blades dull.

"I guess this is it." said one of them as he sighed and lowered his sword, surrendering.

And just like that, the enemy that had appeared had taken over.

This had happened over and over again in many different worlds, under many different enemies. However, they all served the same lord. Or they used to. Now their unity was shaky at best. Attempting to bring back the one who they used to serve.

"Congratulations on the conquest, Feldway."

"It is nothing. These are just some small preparations for what is to come. How is the one under your supervision Zalario?"

"Zelanus? The conquest on our side is also going quite well. Soon enough we will have absolute power. Bringing back Veldanava will not be a problem."

The one who was next to them frowned.

"It should already not be a problem. I understand that you wish to be careful so that we do not fail but just having Velgrynd on our side should be more than enough. If we proceeded with the plan we would be able to gain control of Velzard and Veldora. We should be strong enough to stop Guy for long enough to fulfill our mission." Michael said as he frowned.

His life's purpose was to serve Veldanava. He didn't see the need to make all of these preparations when they already had one of the True dragons on their side.

"Feldway, you should be aware of what my skill can do. All I need is an opening to take over their minds."

"Michael, I understand why you don't want to delay any longer. I too wish to reunite with our lord. But you are too focused on your goal to see the bigger picture. Guy has been preparing for something like this for a long time. That is the reason he created a group of demon lords that are willing to listen to him.

Not only that but he is also acquainted with the Primordial demons. If we attack recklessly there is no guarantee that they will not join his side. I am worried about Noir, the few encounters I have had with him have made it clear that he would bring trouble for us.

Since our conquest is going so well, it doesn't hurt to wait for just a bit longer. Once all of my phantoms have bodies their strength should grow to the point that we won't have to worry about anything Guy might throw at us."

Listening to the reasonable words Michael nodded his head.

"Alright Feldway, I trust you."

Another of the Primordial angels on the table spoke up.

"What are we going to do with Dino and Milim?" Obera asked

"We will pick up Dino when we start our fight against Guy. We will try to convince him to join us. But if he decides to abandon Veldanava, Michael will use his skill to make him join our side. He should still be carrying Luciel."

Feldway stopped for a moment as he tapped the table.

"As for Milim… We will avoid hurting her. She is our lord's daughter. But if it comes to it and she blocks our progress, use as much force as needed. If we can stop her for long enough Michael should be able to place one of the angelic skills. That should allow us to stop her until Veldanava is back."

"I don't think our lord would be happy if we hurt his daughter." Obera said with a small frown.

"I will accept any punishment he decides for my actions. As long as our Lord returns I don't mind sacrificing my life." Said Michael.

Feldway looked at him before shaking his head.

"No, I will take responsibility for whatever happens."
