Location: BLUE BEARS NIGHT CLUB, Time:7.30pm

"ALERT...ALERT...THE LOCATION OF THE GANG HAS BEEN CONFIRMED...ALL UNITS TAKE YOUR POSITIONS. OFFICER JONES TAKE POSITION AT THE BACKSIDE OF THE CLUB WITH YOUR TEAM.." I have given orders to all of my units, I have been tracking this drug gang for 6 months and finally, we got a tip about their dealings location.

I have to catch this gang tonight so that I can finally reach my main target, Simon Garcia, the most notorious drug lord of new york city who's involved in many murder cases, rape cases and human trafficking. moreover, I have a personal score to settle with him, so I am not gonna leave anyone related to this gang tonight.

"Deputy smith ..we have taken positions, we will wait for your signal..over"officer jones announced through the radio.

"ok..now I will enter inside the club like a normal customer and give you a signal once I locate them" I instructed my team members, I saw a new guy in our team looking nervous, he is a rookie and it's his first assignment.

"Look...if you are scared, leave now but if you wanna complete this operation, don't be nervous..are you with me in this" I asked him in a serious tone at which he nodded sincerely, I patted his back and went inside the club.

As soon as I entered the club, alcohol and cigar smell hit my nose. I have scanned the area checking carefully for any suspicious activity or persons. everything looked normal with people drinking and dancing, random couples kissing, then someone bumped into me out of nowhere spilling the drink over my jacket.

"I am so sorry ..sorry..are you ok??" the girl who bumped into me asked, I was about to say it's ok but she started cleaning my jacket with some tissues, I was about to tell her to get off but then I took a closer look at her, she has beautiful grey eyes and long black hair. she was wearing some casual jeans and a T-shirt, she didn't look like she is here to party, she looked nervous, what was she doing in a place like this I thought.

"sir..sir...they are escaping from the back door" I heard through my earpiece from officer Jones, I immediately pushed that girl away and ran to the back door but saw no one then I came back taking out my gun and shooting in the air, everyone in the club fell silent.

"officer jones take unit 3 with you and follow them, make sure to catch them alive for interrogation" I instructed through the radio scanning the crowd for anyone suspicious.

"Attention every one..stay still and don't move, we are looking for some suspects here so don't risk your life by attempting anything," I said taking out my radio and turning to the club's manager who was shitting his pants with fear.

"you...tell your security to close all the exits, I don't want anyone to leave, "I told him to which he nodded and called his security to close all the exits.

My team entered inside and took positions all over the club, making sure no one is escaping, I took the list of the entries tonight from the club manager and called out their names, my team checked them one by one thoroughly.

"Elena miller..please come forward" I called out at which the girl who bumped into me before came forward slowly, she is wearing some jeans and a grey T-shirt with a small sports bag on her back, she didn't look like she came to party or clubbing, she looked so nervous like she is hiding something.

"Mam..hand over the bag" one of my team members asked her at which she shook her head and hid the bag behind her, making me more suspicious of her.

"Mam please let us do our duty and hand over the bag "the rookie guy asked her at which she nervously handed over her bag, he was about to check the bag but got shot in the head by someone from the crowd creating chaos all over the club, everyone started screaming and running here and there. I immediately rushed to my team member who got shot and held him in my arms.

He was already dead,he is too young he must be 21 or 22,my blood boiled with anger ,i remembered his nervous face before i entered the club and felt guilty for not protecting him.I have handed his body to one of my team members and immediately went after the guy who shot him,i chased him and cornered him,he tried to shoot me with his gun but i kicked his hand and held him by his throat.

"Tell me.. where are the others??..huh...tell me.. otherwise I will kill you right now" I said pointing my gun at his head at which he laughed making me more furious."you think you can catch our boss with your silly acts huhh.." he said smirking.

I kicked him in the gut" Enough with your bullshit ..tell me where are the others.." i asked choking him a little more,he coughed blood and his face turned red" ok..ok...stop i will tell you" he said holding my hand at which i left his throat still pointing my gun at his head.

"You want my boss's information right?? your girlfriend is still enjoying and fucking around with him," he said laughing out loud making my blood boil with the mention of that woman, and I punched him real hard making that bastard fall to the ground.

"tell me ..you bastard, where are the others? who are you dealing with ??" I asked him holding his collar, at which he smirked and slit his throat with a glass piece and died on the spot.

"deputy smith ..we lost them, officer jones is injured, we are on our way to the hospital..over " one of my unit members said through the radio making me devastated, I have planned this operation for 6 months and it ended up like this?? I have lost a team memberand my best friend Luke jones is injured,at the end i didn't find anything about Simon Garci's whereabouts.

"ok .. stay alert, and update me his condition.." I have instructed my team member, controlling my anger and swallowing my disappointment ."sir we found marijuana and cocaine in her bag, I guess she is here to deliver these to the gang" my subordinate James said handing me the bag which that girl was carrying before, so she bumped into me intentionally huhh?? all that was an act to distract me,i must say she really did a good job.

I turned to the girl who is the sole reason behind my failure today, if she didn't bump into me purposely I wouldn't have lost my focus, my team member wouldn't be dead and my best friend wouldn't be lying on the hospital bed now.i saw the dead body of my team member lying on the ground and turned to that woman who is still acting innocent, I didn't know what happened to me at that moment ..and I did something which I would regret all my life...

I slapped her, I slapped her so hard that she fainted then and there...
