Ch 3-The Train under Attack

Kite start to explain about the different levels of gift.

"So, gift are divided into 5 level,

Level 1 being the lowest to 5 being the highest.

Level 1 gifts are basic superpowers like running fast, body fat control, long tongue, or sometimes it looks like body mutation. So basically they are something that just makes you different from others.

Level 2 gifts on the other hand are proper superpowers, they are completely different from the level 1 gifts. These powers are considered level 2 because they can influence the surroundings outside the body. Ability like breathing fire, freezing water, boiling water and something like that. These powers are considered level 2 because the area of influence is less.

Level 3 abilities are also like level 2 but the area of influence is bigger than level 2. Some abilities which are stronger but have limitations are also considered level 3.

Level 4 abilities are somewhat different from level 3. They are the ability to control an element. Like Controlling water, fire or lightning.

Level 5 is also like level 4 but on a higher level, level 5 abilities can influence a larger area and even change or control nature power, like changing the flow of time or even the space.

My sister's gift is level three because of limitations like she can only reverse time 30 seconds in the past and If she trains the gift it can at most reach 1 minute.

She can't cross the limitations of nature as an example. If you take a jug full of water and then empty it, using my sister's ability you can only take the jug back to its condition 1 minute before time but you can't make the jug full of water again."

After hearing his explanation I understood the difference between the levels.

Before I wasn't able to understand these because these types of knowledge are only given to gifted people or people with power or backing.

As we were talking about these things I found that kite wasn't a gifted person. I was sure that gifts aren't genetic.

I was happy inside but didn't show it on my face. I didn't want to hurt him but I told him that I also wasn't gifted.

As our conversation was going on. The train suddenly stopped.

The light inside the train went out. The whole room was filled with the sound of children. The compartments were sound proof but we were able to hear the sound of children talking.

The environment was really scary, but our focus was diverted from the sound. We heard the sound of clashing between swords.

The sound was so loud that even inside the soundproof compartment, the clashes were clearly heard.

I saw the brother-sister group looking outside the window without any fear.

I asked them the reason.

" Hey, why aren't you afraid, I think the train was attacked."

They replied like it wasn't any big deal

" No need to be afraid, the train is protected by a level 3 guard. And I heard that even a level 4 gifted person is present on train"

Seeing them like this, I didn't say anything but even after hearing the explanation I was still afraid.

After some time the sound of clashes stopped and the train started once again.

After that one incident no other incidents took place.

After a long journey of 2 days we finally reached the academy city.
