"These things are too many, how many of them are even on Earth" Green lantern shouted as he created an explosion to free his giant robot from the swarm of parademons

[12 billion, 3 million and 4 of them to be exact and more are still coming] a voice called out as a boomtube opened up behind the team

"You think you can pretend to be one of us, eh creature?" Wonder woman said as she dashed out in the direction of Nathan

Seeing this, Nathan didn't even try to defend himself since that would be incredibly painful. He immediately hovered into the air and dodged her attack, it was the safest means he found to survive her attack.

"Who are you?" Superman asked appearing behind him

[Wait…. I am not a parademon, I just have the ability to open these] Nathan explained

"How?" Batman asked as he stood up from his resting spot

[My name is Victor Stone and I was mutated by this] Nathan said as he brought out the father box he had taken from the Red Room

"And I assume you know what that is" Batman continued his interrogation

[Naturally if something of unknown origin nearly leads to your death, you will surely strive to learn its origin… it is called a Father box and was created on a place called Apokalips. It is a sentient computer….. sorry a slave god] Nathan explained.

Extra arms popped out from his body again as he began to shot down the parademons attacking them with extreme accuracy

"I don't care about that, what is their mission here?, who is behind this all?"

[A being named Darkseid and his mission is simple, turn all of us into these things to expand his army] Nathan explained as he brought out the head of the parademon, he had previously beheaded

Refusing to trust him, Wonder woman immediately used her lasso to tie him up hoping that it would work on the being before her who didn't feel human nor did it feel alive at all.

To her, Nathan felt more like a dead object like a door knob so she found it hard to believe that he was on their side.

"The lasso compels you to tell me if what you said is true"

[Every last bit of it is true] Nathan said without any hesitation.

Everything he said was the truth, his name in this life was now Victor Stone even if he didn't want to accept it yet.

"Then what do you propose we do?" Flash asked speeding to join the rest

[Nothing, I want you to rest and focus on fighting against that] Nathan said then pointed towards a massive tower that rose from the sea

Satellites showed thousands of these towers all over the world, they either came out from the sea or just grew from the land like some tree.

They may be different but his system had picked up the parademons flying in a circle in the areas, the towers appeared in so the towers were definitely related to the Parademons.

As soon as the tower was fully established, a massive pillar of light appeared a few hundred kiliometers away from it and the parademons began flying into it.
