2 Enemies

"What about the other systems, the Responsometer and the A & B-maze systems?" The elderly one amongst them asked now a little calmer than before

Boom!! Boom!!!

Loud sounds of something incredibly heavy banging against something else could be heard coming from the heavy door behind them.

With the sound, the people in the room immediately turned to the door as fear appeared on their faces. As more booming sounds were heard, several massive dents appeared on the incredible thick door.

"It can get through….. we're all gonna die!!" The only female among them shouted as despair began to set in.

"Get yourself together, we have some of the world's best weapons here in this room with us, pick one up and defend yourself" the elderly one said as he picked up a weird looking gun from a table nearby and aimed it at the door ready to shoot.

If he was going to die then he wanted it to be on his own terms or he could at least bring some of them down with him.

"Oh god, help us!" The other man said as he immediately began to pray

While the group prayed what they thought would be their last ever, the cocoon continued to pulse with energy to indicate activity within it and the monitors that were connected to it were now taken over by some form of power though the three people in the room didn't seem to care about this as they had much bigger things to deal with.

The monitors displayed strange symbols at rapid speeds as though some otherworldly being was in control of them.

The group noticed this but still ignored it as the booming sounds became even louder and louder, the door was already caving in and could come off its hinges any second now.

Bang!! Bang!!

The door was sent flying into the room as three winged massive creatures found their way into the room.

All of them wore golden armor that seemed to be a part of their body, the spaces between the armor showed skin that was dark green in colour and had several sky blue lines running all along their body.

A mouth that made up nearly 95% of their faces and had weird teeth that looked more like its flesh.

The creatures let out a loud shriek as they flew straight into the room, ready to attack the three people in the room.

"Fire!!" The man shouted as he fired his weapon at the creatures only for them to shrug it off as though nothing had happened.

"Shit/fuck!!!" They all shouted together as despair began to grow in their hearts, if these weapons couldn't affect the creatures then they were doomed.

Meanwhile in an alternate space, a man that looked to be in his late twenties could be seen standing naked.

The man was fair in complexion, had dark hair and was somewhat fine looking, the man stood completely still… almost lifelessly so

[Synchronization completed…. Waking new host]  a robotic voice said as life seemed to fill the man

"Hmm"

The man opened his eyes slowly, almost as though he had been sleeping.

Nearly falling over due to his sudden change in posture, the man quickly caught himself and stabilized his stance which also forced him to wake up fully.

"God damn it!!.... I died again!!" The man shouted almost instinctively after giving his new location a brief glance

[Incorrect, Individual "Victor Stone" is not dead thus Individual "Nathaniel Krane" is alive as well] the voice replied him
