Webnovel really don't understand their readers. I really don't understand why they pick this book to translate. The novel is pretty average. I have read up to 150 chapters in Mtl. I can say that you can read it and it have some glimpse of interesting ideas. However, it fails to capitalize on those ideas and follow things reader are tires of with these type of genre. It won't be surprising if they gonna drop this after a few months. I really pity the translator that won't get support for this book.

One of the better, if not up there with the best cultivation novels with a system. The MC is funny and unique, the story is not bogged down with endless system notifications. Translations are clear and fluent. The pacing is perfect if just a tad slow. Great fight scenes and combat with a simple but effective cultivation system (not 1000 diffrent realms with 1000 diffrent names in who knows what order). Alchemy and other proffessions are extremly well done so far without 5 chapters and extreme detail in making a pill. Charater is OP but it is well done, still plenty of ways he can die (talking his way out of death with a silver tongue is a million times better than basic plot armor or an OP powerup allowing for him to kill people many realms above him). Overall I would give it a 9/10, and a 10/10 for the cultivation system genre.

Why in the world was this picket. Its awful, completely derivative of others that have done it better. They should have picked Cursed Ship instead or something else. We've had enough of this same garbage over and over.

*If you don't like the comedy style you will not like this and if you're tired of cliches this is a good try* Really good tho the jokes become too much sometimes when simple things are dragged to a whole chapter. The power system combination with the cheat is really good and interesting. Also, the comedy brings an element of randomness allowing the author to sometimes break cliches and predictability. Most of the comedy is alright, some are terrible and some are really funny aka I laughed out loud. Do I wish there was less? yes but sometimes i want to read something that challenges my tastes.

don't be like those people who don't read because of a bad review the only reason this has a bad review is because of their dumb reason some say he is stupid(he is very smart) with his dumb decision(every action has a reason) I have caught up with this novel and ask anything you want I will answer all of it. current reading status : chapter 683 and will continue to read. **from my point of view** Writing Quality : Nice and Understandable Story Development : Acceptable as I think this much was necessary to build the background character design : very much to my liking except sometimes the mc acts a bit stupid. but overall have a very good design. the MC is a seen as a genius due to panel but himself knows that he is all he is due to the system. Updating Stability : From the point I started reading : very stable with 2 chaps/day World Background : nice i can say. " the world is a game of chess if you don't have enough strength to become a player then be a good chess piece". The MC is always trying to break free from the game. ***** i see this novel as a amazing read. really got me hooked so far. chapter are very funny, you can say cultivation is a side job for mc mainly it's like he works as a comedian. but i really like it. full of mind games or whatever it's said, can say that mostly every character is making plans before doing anything. Whatever, i just really liked the novel and it got me hooked so yeah 5 star from me

this has to be the best novel I've ever read. I've read hundreds of novels, not to compare them or anything but this was well translated and realistic to an extent. albeit the first 200 chapters are for developing the world, I didn't mind that at all. I barely write reviews but please give this a chance

while this is a system novel it's not the main point,the system fades into the background most of the time as the thing that gives the protagonist most of his power but that doesn't make the protagonist bland because he doesn't depend on it, most of the time he has to rely on his thinking, reflexes and ability to read people and trick them to be able to survive the strong enemys he faces in his travels, when it comes to world building,I have to say this on of the most divers,it's sword styles are many and all are very unique,when it comes to cultivation it's has many types from elemental such as fire,water to even time later in the story but even unique type such as sealing,as for the powers of the protagonist, he is diverse in sword,body,array, alchemy and spiritual but also unique abilities,and the characters in the party are all different from each other while still being able to fit with each other,and the protagonist is by him self most of the time and his actions are logical and fallow his smart and cautious but greedy nature so it's a laugh when ever he tricks his apponent, with all this I'd recommend this story very much for a laugh and sometimes relaxing and sometimes serious story.

if you are just gonna nerf the mc then just don't give him the opportunity to gain more power !! in every single fight, he holds back in caution of accidentally harming the opponent !!... ... not saying it's bad but it's sometime frustrating with how passive he gets and character development is too slow!!!

Translator team need to visit psychologist, seem like they have DID, keep changing the name even in one same chapter, well as expected from webnovel's translator, they have the same sickness whatever the studio name has the same problem, and their greed also over the top, never read the comment, never check if the chapter need edit or not, only think about to get money from reader, and when they lose their reader because their own fault, they stop translating the novel and move to other projects. has many unfinished novel in this website.

Book was absolutely outstanding in the beginning. however after chapter 450 the translation quality suddenly dropped and is at the level of machine translated! Its very infuriating to get to this point and see this gem of a novel be ruined by the translator….

After about 70 chapters i decided this book wasn’t for me. I’ll give the pros and cons in my opinion. Pros: 1) Good story that made me laugh 2) Translation quality is good 3) Chapter come out regularly 4) Cool system set up for the MC Cons: 1) Other characters are kind of flat 2) MC is kind of stupid 3) Author puts MC in aqward situations to advance his cultivation. But makes him seem like a joke. 4) Unrealistic behavior of the Sect The reason i am going to stop reading the book was because of the tournament. He won the tournament but still didnt get selected to enter the inner courtyard? They instead selected 4 of the loosers because the had a higher cultivation level... that doesnt make sense. You have a guy that is 3 levels below everyone else win the tournament and that doesnt strike you as amazing? The author lost me at that point. I would of maybe kept reading if the MC decided to leave the Sect at that point. But he just accepted the humiliation after winning the chamionship... Too many other good books out there for me to stick with one that has a stupid MC.

I was initially put off by the low rating (3.8 at the time), but I decided to read it since I had nothing better to do. It's actually very entertaining, and I would recommend this. It's a funny novel, which is my type of thing. It won't hurt to give this a try.
