The Test

[ POV : Unknown]

"Damn...Did they see me?" I questioned as I looked towards the two white haired girl running down the streets, chasing someone.

"Heh..Must be a test from that Loli Baba." As my look was fixed on the two girls, both dressed differently but with similar faces.

"Hah..." I sighed as I slightly clenched my prosthetic arm.

My eyes , still locked on the two in distance, seemed to make me remember my dear,

'Cecilia...How would have you reacted...?'

The shock I felt when the mop head, as the red lobster calls her, said that another one of those had awakened and started staying in St.Freya alongside my baby doll, I didn't want to say this but I-

'I feel conflicted...'

I truly did, it took me years to except Kiana, I-I don't think I have the will power for another,

"Cecilia, how would have you reacted..?"

This question, it has been refreshed in my mind countless times.

"Hah..." In the end, I failed , both as a husband and as a father.

"But..." I squeezed out a smile,

"It seems...I have another baby doll now..." I knew, I knew that I don't and wouldn't have the courage it needs to stand in front of her, and proudly proclaim,

I am your father!

I want to go -but I don't have the courage to go...to go and confront both of them, I want to talk to them, tell them it's alright! I, me-your father is with you, I want to make happy memories with them! Tell them that they can lean on me! I-I !

Sigh

In the I could only sigh as I looked at the departing figures of my baby doll's',

"Maybe...Just maybe, I hope we can talk to each other as family..." I whispered as the wind carried out my departing voice...

[3rd person POV]

"Tch...Where did she go...?"

Kiana clicked her tongue as she looked around the street.

"Kiana, why did you started running suddenly...?" Kate , who had caught upto her asked.

"A thief just stoled someone bag !" Kiana answered while still looking for the thief.

"Hm?" Kate, without doubt found this strange,

'A thief? Who can outrun B-Rank valkyries..? Doesn't feel right...' Kate suddenly became vigilant as she took a defensive position.

"Kiana, did you see the thief coming this way...?" She asked as her eyes wandered around the buildings, which looked unoccupied.

"Yeah I did! But she suddenly disappeared after that!" Kiana defended after feeling the doubt in Kate's tone.

' A girl? Disappeared? Buildings without people in a bustling city?No people in streets?'

As if everything clicked right, Kate opened her eyes wide,

'-perhaps, this is a...test?'

Theresa had probably allowed them to go alone because this was a part of the test,

"Hngh!" Kate suddenly twisted her body a little as a bullet flew pass her...

"Sister!" Kiana partial screamed after seeing her sister Dodge a bullet... literally.

She tried to run towards her side but -

Swoosh!

She suddenly bent her body as a sword passed by the place her head was,

"Tch!"

Suddenly an Valkyrie-but with a mask appeared before her eyes with a sword in her hand,

Swoosh

Kiana placed her hand in the floor and used it to balanced her body as she tried to kick the legs of her enemy.

But, the enemy dodge the kicks and tried to kick off Kiana's hands but failed and the battle between the two dragged out.

"tch.." Kate clicked her tongue as she watched Kiana's fight with the Valkyrie,

But she couldn't just focus on that as,

"Shit!" Kate cursed as she dodged few more bullets fired from a building.

As she dodged the bullets she was pushed towards the shadows of the opposite building where,

Swoosh!

Kate suddenly twisted left as a sword flew past her.

And another Valkyrie with a mask appeared from the shadows of the building...

" I hate this..." Kate whispered and took one last glance towards Kiana and saw her fighting against a gunman? and a sword wielder...

"Focus..."Kate spoke to herself as she saw another gunman, probably the one who tried to shoot her...

" A two versus one huh?" Kate said and tried maintain her smiling,

Swoosh! Swing! Slash!

The Valkyrie tried attacking her in different patterns but failed to land a perfect hit.

But during this time Kate noticed that-

'The sword's edges are  blunt.?'

This meant that they weren't allowed to excessively hurt them but,

'That doesn't mean I won't hurt you!'

As soon as the Valkyrie swung her sword down Kate got an opportunity,

"Hmph!" In that split moment, while dodging the gunner's bullet she karate chopped the hand of the Valkyrie , which unconditionally loosened the of her sword and Kate used that to steal the sword from her and used it's handle to hit the neck of the Valkyrie , making her loose consciousness...

Now, with the sword in her hands she leaped towards the gunner while parring the bullets and placed the sword near the neck of her victim,

"Drop the gun..." Kate ordered the gunner dropped it while raising her hands,

Kate kicked the dropped gun out of her sites and suddenly also kicked the legs of the the former gunman- gun women?

"Ouch!" She heard a yelp from her but paid it no mind as she pried her mask open.

"As I thought..." Kate muttered, the girl beneath her grasp was one of the senior students she saw when she first entered St.Freya .

She then looked at Kiana and saw that she had also defeated her enemies , albeit in a rougher way.

"Kiana!" Kate called while waving her hand.

"Huh?" Kiana looked at the source of the familiar voice and saw her sister waving her hands towards her.

"She had defeated them aswell! As expected from my sister!" Kiana spoke while starting to wave her hand aswell.

"Congrats! You have completed the test!" Suddenly a voice came from the buildings as Theresa Apocalype clapped her hands and jumped down the building.

'How could she jump off the wall with her small stature?'  Kate silently thought.

"What?!"

Kiana questioned as she looked at her aunt.

"Yup! That's true! All this was a farce!"

Theresa answered while smiling...

"Wait! Where are the bags?" Kate suddenly remembered that she had dropped the bags somewhere a while ago...

"That's right! I had dropped them aswell!" Kiana remembered soon aswell.

"Dont worry Idiotka, we have them!"

Suddenly a very monotonous voice was heard as both Kiana and Kate moved there head towards that direction.

"Bronya? ( Bratnya?)" Kate and Kiana respectively.

" And Mei aswell?" Kate tilted her head slightly.

They were there helping the 4 'enemies'

get up.

"Ahm! Listen now!" Theresa coughed as she spoke which made both the sisters look at her.

"Both of you did well- but Kate handled the enemies better than Kiana."

Kiana nodded her head, rather proudly as she exclaimed,

"Ofcourse she would! She is my sister after all!"

"uh..You weren't supposed to do that..." Both Kate and Theresa muttered.

"-And Kate was way more wary of her surroundings than you were Kiana!" Theresa continued to ramble as both the Kaslanas nodded.

"And Kate!" Theresa spoke like she was about to finish the lecture,

"Yes Aunt?" Kate tilted her head again,

"You could have handled then better!" Theresa nodded while saying that,

Intrigued, Kate asked, "How?"

"Smashing through them so they don't get up again." Theresa spoke like a matter of fact.

""Oi!"" All the people around shouted at the same time.
