12 Christmas Special Chapter
" Armh....~" With a low groan , a white haired girl's eyes seemed to flutter as the groan left her mouth ,
" Do I really have to wake up...." She spoke herself and snuggled deeper into the intoxicating blanket while hugging an homu doll as an comfort.
"No shit....I really have to...." And so she forced herself to wake up from her slumber as she yawned,
" Damn...." She cracked her fingers and her neck and went down her bed, towards her phone.
And as soon as she did,
" Oh...." With eye raised in curiousness , she saw that it was 23th Dec, meaning just 1 day away from Christmas Eve.
" Damn....Time sure flies by....." Just a few days ago she went to her first mission as a trainee Valkyrie,
"It felt like just a few days ago...." A sigh left her lips as she thought about how her life changed in mere days....
" Well, there is nothing we can do...."
As she said that, an visual image of Napoleon sitting on a rock while gazing at the sea seemed to fill her mind.
" Hah....Why the don't the memes leave me even in an different world?" A sigh yet again was released as she went to her bathroom to freshen up.
As she picked up her tooth brush and began brushing her, she felt a strange taste in her mouth and-
Cough Cough
A violent sprey of coughs began as she dropped her tooth brush and soon,
Blurgh...
She vomited.

The coughing lasted for a few more seconds before ceasing and she took a few deep breaths.
" Damn , this is been happening for a few days now...."
The vomit that came out didn't really contain all that of food , it was just water.
" Wonder if this is a defect of the body...." She mumbled and started cleaning up the basin.
She wondered if her body was truly defective, or this is just a side effect of something.
" Hah...." With a sigh of relief, she started washing her face again.
" Phew....Now than...." After washing her face, she looked at the shower.
" Time for some bathing time" Soaking herself in warm- I mean cold water , she began enjoying the coldness.
A/N: I love cold showers aswell, fuck those Europeans and Americans who can't handle cold water
Soon she got out and wore new clothes and made her ways downstairs to the dinning room.
" Oh Kate, you are awake?" The one who greeted her first was Theresa, the aunt of Kate Kaslana.
"mhm...Yeah...." Kate replied a little lazily.
They didn't have classes or training today as it was closed due to Christmas break.
Mei was at the kitchen , helped by Bronya at making the breakfast while Fu Hua and Theresa were doing ideal chit chat until Kate came in.
Soon , she also joined in and begun talking about how corrupt the world and entire governments were.
Fu Hua and Theresa both listened to her banter, which they would agree had many facts.
Also everyone was awake except Himeko and Kiana.
" hmm? " Kate eyed at the clock hanging on the wall and saw it was 8 AM.
They had wasted about 30 mins in ideal chit chat.
" I am going to wake up Kiana." Kate said as if a matter of fact and got up.
" Sure..." She heard from Theresa and a silent nod from Fu Hua, if Kate herself was willing to take up such an dangerous task herself, nobody else needed to do it!
Soon, Kate went back up stairs and to her little sister's room .
" heh..." Small smile blossomed in Kate's face as she watched her sister sleeping while hugging a homu doll.
" Oi Kiana, get up!" Soon she began shaking Kiana with all her might but to vain.
" Hah....I always need to go that way...." She sighed and bought her mouth closer to Kiana's ear and whispered,
" Ahn~ Mei-Senpai ~" And as if magic did it's work.
Snap!
With a snap, Kiana opened her eyes and sat up at her bed real quick,
" W-What was that?!" She partially looked at Kate , who was smirking,
"Nothing~" Kate smiled playfully and said,
" The breakfast is almost ready, get ready fast." Kate just said that and went downstairs again.
" Argh! She pranked me again!" Kiana screamed at herself and rubbed her head, soon calmed down and freshened up.

" No shit Sherlock...." Kate spoke to herself as she watched Kiana gobble up her portion of breakfast.
" Hah....What can I do about her...." She shook her head and began eating, at no lesser speed than that of Kiana.
'Like she is one to talk...'
The others sitting around sweat dropped at the scene.
While gobbling up her food, Kate remembered something and asked her aunt,
" Oh! I just remembered, did that arrive?" Kate asked between her servings while looking at Theresa,
" Hm? Oh that! Yeah it arrived, and at the place where you requested!" Theresa quickly remembered about what Kate had ordered.
Kiana was busy eating food, therefore she thankfully didn't notice,
Soon, the breakfast time was finished and Kate helped Mei to wash the dishes.
And so, an hour past doing idle things and it was 10:00, Kate looked at the clock, than at herself, quickly went to her room, donned clothes fitting for the outside world and went back downstairs,
" I am going somewhere , will be back in around 40 minutes..."
Kate quickly announced , put her shoes on and went outside.
Kiana who was in the drawing room wanted to say something but noticed that her sister had already left,
" Au~ I wanted to spend some time with her...." Her arms sulked as she begun watching the TV, which had many Christmas special advertisements.
Mei who watched this couldn't help but sigh and decided to accompany Kiana for the while.

Meanwhile our protagonist made her way towards the office of the Principal.
" Zinda gi sabare tu ~ Ek naie bahar tu duniya hi badal du meto payara sa chamakar hu~" She began singing the Hindi version of Doraemon's opening as she slowly made way towards the office building.
And as she entered the building , she went the way of where the Principal's office was, but before reaching there,
Thud!
" Uwah!" She hit a girl who was carrying a stack of papers.
" Ah! Are you okay?" Kate asked quite worriedly, as an Kaslana's body is known for it's toughness.
" Ouch..." An voice sounded as the pinkish blonde hair of an girl covered her forehead.
The girl in question quickly stabilized herself.
Her blue eyes looked on the ground where all papers she was carrying , all spread around on the ground.
Kate saw it and quickly helped her pick up the papers.
Kate by then realised that she had never saw this girl, who looked of almost her age around the campus before.
After picking up and stacking the papers the girl said,
" Thank you for your help..." And bowed slightly.
Kate was quick to say,
" ... I am the one who should apologise, I am sorry for bumping into you." While rubbing the back of her head, Kate also asked,
" Ah! Are you new here? I never saw you before?" To which the girl replied,
" Mhm, that's true, I just joined the academy today, nice to meet you , erm..." The girl smiled while saying that but quickly turned awkward,
" Kate- Kate Kaslana." Kate smiled while saying that,
" Yes, thank you miss Kate for helping me, my name is Juliana Alexander, I hope we meet again, I am sorry but I have to go now..." The girl gave a quick bow and left.
Kate than shrugged her own shoulders because the girl seemed like in a hurry and went to her aunt's office to get the gift she had ordered for Christmas.

By now it was evening of 23th of December just a day before Christmas eve, and the entire dormitory of squad 5 plus Theresa went out to buy their respective gifts for each other, actually they had choosen them way before, they were just buying them now.
" Hmm....This would be great for Bronya...." Kate said as she looked at the exclusive homu plushie doll which was only obtainable by playing a game.
"Heh...Well looks like I need to show off my skills again ?" And no sooner, Kate had already been able to get the doll with overwhelming advantage,so much that the company itself gave the entire family exclusive package to her, all for free.

" Well the next thing I need is-" And so Kate had bought all the gifts she had needed for her friends / family.

And so soon , it was 24th of December.
The entire dormitory family was sitting across the table, the entire house was decorated with the Christmas aesthetics they had all worked together on.
" Woah...?" Himeko smiled gently when she saw what everyone had gifted her, wine and wine.
"Phew~ Isn't this the finest of brands? And aged well aswell~" The smile in Himeko's face seemed to grow bigger as she kept reading about it.
Each of them unwrapped their gifts, Fu Hua seemed to be smiling with a twitch ,
" Seriously...?"
She was carrying those infamous chickens while smiling, yes it seems she indeed liked the gift.
" Bronya liked this gift..." Said Bronya as she hugged the family exclusive homu plushies all for herself , snuggling in them.
" Mhm...I loved my gift aswell !" Mei smiled as she looked at the kitchen set she was gifted,
" Created by the finest of Japanese traditional methods! " Her gentle smile seemed to capture the attention of everyone, especial Kiana.
" Woh! This are all that limited addition stickers and Manga profiles!" Theresa's eyes were shining like a kid as she looked at the limited addition covers and anime things that would make an weeb cry in tears of blood.
Kiana had gotten an key chain from her sister, it was custom made, it seemed to hold an chibi Kiana in between of all the dormitory's chibi members, smiling.
" I liked this gift , so much~" Kiana smiled blushing as for her, such small but important gifts were the only thing that kept her happy and innocent in this accursed world.
Kate smiled gently at her sister ,
' If only such a life could be continued '
A small frown came upon Kate's mind as she thought about what the future holds for them, she was sure, with the addition of an unknown like her, the butterfly effect must have already changed the considerable of the future.
' I will protect them'
Kate eyes seemed to hold the blazing determination to take on whatever the future holds in store for her, she needs to get stronger , stronge enough to hold an grip on the world.
She looked at the little hand made gift she had gotten from her sister.

The gentle smile never left her face and was kept in there in steady state.
" Let's go for a picture !" Theresa said while waving at the expensive looking camera in her hands.
" Let's do it!" Kiana was quick to agree, the entire squad- the entire family positioned themselves as Theresa added the timer in the camera and sat down with everyone else.
' To protect everything beautiful in this world !'
Surrounded by her friends and family, the determination within Kate's eyes seemed to blaze even more as the camera clicked the picture at the setted time.
