218. Can't Leave

Nicholas's pov

Today was the day of our divorce. I'll try my best to convince her not to do this. I messaged her the wrong time intentionally because I want to talk to her and she came half an hour early.

I was in the meeting when she came. I finished it early and came back to my office. She's looking outside through window. my favorite place.

I tried my best to convinced her but in the last she asked for divorce and we signed the papers. I feel so hollow inside like something missing but then she shocked me.

She told me that she give me second chance. I can't let go this opportunity. This time I properly woo her and make her happy.

I feel really happy the whole day. Everything was going smoothly. I was in my office then I got call from Drek .

I picked up. He sounds so panicked. He said -" Brother we are at the hospital."

I stand up abruptly from my chair and said -" What happened... Is it grandma... is she fine... god dammit Drek tell me."

" Its sister-in-law." He said.

I stopped walking. Everything stopped for me. What happened to her... we both were happy and fine then what happened to her.... I feel so angry on myself.... why I let her alone..... she's my wife ...my responsibility.... but I failed.... I failed to take care of my special person.

I asked in low voice -" What happened to her."

" I don't know .....when I reached at Sunny's apartment she's already faint.... I took her to the C hospital..... come here."

" I am coming.... Drek.... please don't leave her alone."

" Yes brother."

I hang up and run towards my car . Please god please don't do anything to her... she's so much precious to me.... I can't loose her... I'll die without her...
