194. Letter

I feel so content after eating my cakes and smoothie. Then we both continue our shopping. we spend our all day in the mall.

We ate dinner outside and come back to the apartment. I just want to sleep. I am feeling dead tired. I will spend my next in sleeping.

When we were in a lift I leaned against the steel wall and said tiredly -" I will never go with you for shopping."

" Don't say it like that... tell me honestly you don't enjoyed it." she said

" Its enjoyable ...but why do you want to see every shop sunny when we don't even want to buy their goods.... I am dead tired now from all those wondering."

" We should now what's famous in market."

" Please do it when you will shopping alone." I rolled my eyes."

We reached at the door. she took out her keys and unlock the door. When she opened the door their was a letter on the floor. I ignored it and went inside and of course its for her because that's her house.

I was about to enter in the room then she said in a serious tone -" Its for you Alexa.... from Nicholas."

I stopped and turned to face her. There goes my rest. Now what does he want. And the main question was why did he send letter to me. If he wants to say something he can come over here. Don't tell me he don't want to see my face. I feel anger from the thought of it.

I walked to her and took the letter from her hand. we both settled on the couch. I looked at her nervously.

she massaged her temples and said irritatedly -" Now what does that bastard want."

-" What do you think ...should I open this..." I said hesitantly.

" Of course."

" I feel scared sunny." I looked at the letter in my hands.

" Alexa..... what if he's regretting after his actions and wants to apologize to you through letter because he don't have the guts to see you..... but you will not going to forgive him this easily."

" He..... apologize to me .....never ....I know Nicholas he will never apologize to me." I said to her.

He's so proud full man to apologize to anyone. I looked at letter again. I take deep to calm myself. I slowly opened the lid of the envelope and took the letter outside.

I slowly unfold the letter and read the content written on it. I got shocked. I know that's coming in near future but its happening now. He's taking his action now. He's seriously considering it.

Sunny asked me worriedly -" What does it say."

I looked at her with tears in my eyes and said -" ...Divorce Papers...."

" What....." she took the papers from my hand and looked at them. she looked at me with concern in her eyes.

She said -" We talked about this Alexa. we know that its going happen."

" I know... but its heart breaking for me sunny."

She hugged me and didn't say anything. After some time she let me go and said -" Let's see what does it say."

I slumped on the couch. she's reading it with concentration. I was looking at the ceiling aimlessly then I heard her cursing.

" That's fucking bastard .....I am really going to kill him." she cursed it.

I sit straight and asked her nervously -" what is it ..."

" That motherfucker going to give you alimony. The statement was written as the services you gave him during your marriage period he will pay for it."
