170. He Don't Want To Take Me To The Party

The first thing I looked for a cocktail dress when I came to my room. I can't find anything according to the grand party. I wanted to be look beautiful with him. I decide to go for shopping with Nicholas. I am so excited about the party.

I changed into my night gown and wait for him. He's again late today for dinner. I think he's really busy. I don't know when I fall asleep. In my sleep I turned to his side and slightly opened my eyes and he's already sleeping besides me. I didn't wake him up and also fall asleep.

Next few days I am waiting for him to ask me about the party but he didn't. I feel sad about this but decided to ignore it. may be he forget about the party and there's a still 3 days left for the party.

I don't know why but I feel heavy inside my heart. There's some barrier in between us which I don't know what is this. whenever we were together I looked in his eyes to find something. There's something which I don't know. I even don't know what he feels.

And like this the day before the party come and he still don't ask me. I feel uneasy and asked him before he leaves for his office _" will there be coming any important occasions."

He looked at me for some time and said -" no...why."

" Haha...I am just asking. its nothing." I faked a smile and waved my hand to ignore the topic.

He didn't ask any thing and leave. I was looking at his retreating back then the door closed and blocked my view. I sighed and laid on the bed. I didn't realize when when my tears come. I blinked several times to control them but they never listen me.

He don't want to take me with him. may be he decides not to go there that's why he didn't ask me. But its a big party for businessmen. my thoughts clashing with each other.

Then my phone ringed. I sit up instantly and looked at my phone with hope but its not him. its Daniel. I take deep breath and pick up -" Hi."

" Alexa.... what's wrong.."

I tried to sound cheered up but he caught me. I sighed and said -" Nothing."

" Alexa." He said my name seriously. He always know my mood.

" I feel down Daniel."

" come outside from your house. I am waiting for you"

" what." I stand up hurriedly and looked outside through window. There's a black car.

" I count to 50 and the time starts now."

" what."

" 1.."

" wait.... its too short...."

" 2..."

" Daniel." I shouted at him and started running like a mad woman. its a good thing that no one see me like this otherwise it'll become embarrassing for me.

" 40...."

" I..... huh just.... there... huh....." I am huffing heavily.

I can see him now. He's leaning against his car and waving his hand at me.

" you... huh...will be..... a dead man.....huh."

" 45....hahaha....." he's laughing.

" 48...49....and...."

I am running so fast that I can't control myself and pounce at him. He caught me steadily. I am breathing heavily with open mouthed. I leaned against him and closed my eyes. we stayed like this until I calm myself.
