3 Chapter 3 - Meeting an old friend

Alex came to the hotel. Well, 2 years later it was still looking for the same hotel. After paying the taxi driver, he entered the hotel. He went toward the reception area.

"Hello, sir. How may I help you?" The receptionist asked him.

"Well, I need a room for a week," Alex said to the girl receptionist.

"No problem, sir. We will prepare a room for you," the girl said. Alex smiles at her and takes the room key. He was now sitting in the waiting area. He brought out his mobile and started playing a game.

A few minutes later, the receptionist informed him that his room was ready. Alex got up from his seat and walked toward his room. He also ordered food and then went to the bathroom to freshen up.

After everything was done, he once again focused on gaming. He was playing with his new character, the Assassin. He was still in the beginner's village. Well,l to leave the place you needed to reach level 10.

He was in the beginner forest and killing monsters to complete his quest. He needed to kill 150 hunter wolves to collect the wolf meat. He got this quest from the restaurant owner of the beginner village.

A few minutes later, he finally killed all the wolves. After collecting all the loot, he left the forest and came to the beginner village. He went directly to the restaurant owner. After giving him all the meat, the chief gave him his reward. He got 50 exp, 1000 gold coins, and a skillbook.

At this time, Alex suddenly hears a knock on his door. He stopped playing and went to the door. He saw it was his food.

After finishing eating, he lay down in bed. He already called his grandpa and grandma. At first, both his grandma and grandpa's health were pretty bad, but after drinking the health potion, they were now healthy.

He needs to rest for some time, then he will go and search for a house.

At 4:00 p.m. He left the hotel, and he was going to the housing agency. There he will get news about the house. After this, he also wanted to buy a car.

"Yes, sir, look here. These houses are ready to sell," she said and showed photos of various houses with the description.

Alex began to check all the houses, but suddenly he was shocked. He saw his old house here. When Alex previously lived in Venus city, he bought a house. He and his girlfriend sometimes live there. But the previous Alex's big sister told him she likes the house. This house's owner became his sister. Well, he never expected that he would see this house. Alex decided to buy this house. This house is near the Royal academy, so it won't be any problem for him. Alex looked at the description and saw that the owner of this house was Jenny Martin and the price of the house.

"Well, I'd like to buy this house." Alex pointed to the house.

The receptionist girl, after seeing the house, smiled and told Alex no problem. They talk some more about the house, then Alex leaves the agency. The receptionist girl told him that tomorrow he will need to wait 7 days because the owner wasn't in the city.

Alex was now going toward the car showroom to buy a car. Well, he has money, so why not buy cars? Sometime later, he reached the car showroom. He can see many cars there. Alex enters the car showroom.

Alex POV:

I entered the shop and went towards the salesman. He was free at this moment, so I went toward him. Seeing me coming towards he said with a smile,

"Hello, sir. How can I help you?"

"I need a car," I told him.

" No problem, sir. Which one do you want to buy? We have many cars in our shop." He asked me with a smile. Well, you can say he was professional.

" I liked that car. Tell me its price." I told him while pointing my finger toward a car.

The salesman got shocked after seeing the car that I was pointing at. He quickly turned around and looked at me with a curious gaze.

"Sir, are you sure? This is a Bugatti Divo, and the price of this car is 5.8 million dollars, sir." He told me the price. He still didn't believe that I could buy this car.

"Why am I not sure? It was only 5.8 million dollars. So what is the big matter? I will pay full price for the car." I told him in a calm voice. Well, he doesn't know I have a lot of money. When I brought the gold coin to real life, it became real money. 1 gold coin = 1k dollar. So, money didn't matter to me. I just want to live a carefree life so I didn't show off that much. With that said, I bring out a black car from my pocket.

"Ye… Yes sir, no problem," he still couldn't believe that I was buying this car. Well, who cares about that?

Sometime later, finally, the car is mine. Well, it has been many days since I haven't driven a car. I am very excited to drive the car. But suddenly I saw a person that seemed familiar. He just got out of a car and came toward the showroom.

The salesman, after seeing that I was looking at the person, said to me,

" Sir, this is our boss. He is the owner of this showroom."

" Oh," I just nodded and turned around. Well, Alex should know this person, but not me. So, yea, just forget about it. I was about to start the car when someone called me,

"Alex!!!!! Is that you?"

Hearing the question, I turned around and saw it was the owner of this showroom. Well, I can see the excitement in his voice. But, I really don't remember him.

"Yes, I am Alex, but who are you?" I asked him.

"Haha, it is really you. I am Steven, you remember?" He asked me excitedly.

Hearing his name, I really feel like I heard this name before. Suddenly, I saw an image of a fat student in my mind. He and I are talking in the classroom.

"Well, fatty is that you?" I asked him.

"Haha, yes bro, it's me." He said, laughingly. He came toward me when I got out of the car. We bump our fists. Well, he is Steven Matheu. He was a good friend of mine. The main thing is that he wasn't like others. We were in the same middle school, but then we got separated. He went to a different high school.

"Let's go to my office, bro." He said, while dragging me to his office. Well, I had nothing to do, so I went with him.

We sat in his office when someone brought us some tea. While drinking the tea, he asked,

"Where have you been, bro? Many times, I try to call you, but no one picks up the phone. I also try to ask your classmates, but they also know nothing about you. So what happened bro?" He asked me.
