2 Hogwart's Letter

It is already sixth in the morning, but I still didn't move from my bed. Who cares? Today is Sunday so I decide to spend my time with my boyfriend, his name is bed. I hug our child,her name is pillow and close my eyes again.Trying to sleep when I suddenly hear voices. Was it a nightmare already?

"I wake up in my bed,like hello beautiful.Cause this world is so crazy and it can bring you down"

I close my eyes again, trying to ignore the sound of the woman singing.Her voice tone is so loud, This is a dream. I comfort myself and try to sleep again.

"You're too short,too fat,too skinny-HEY!!"

I jumped out of the bed.It nearly brought me a heart attack. I looked around me and saw nothing, then I realised where that voice came from.

Mum.

I head out of my room, slowly peeking at my parents. I open the door slowly as I can, letting my eyes wild searching for my mum.

There she is, wearing a towel on her head while listening to music. I chuckled a little at the view of my father massaging her like a queen.

" Enjoy yourself, darling? "Dad ask as he took a glance on me. I giggled and revealed myself to them. Mum just rolled her eyes as she saw me taking a bit of her chips.

" I've done breakfast,so you should probably wash yourself " Mum said to me with a smirk on her mouth.

" I've washed myself so you should probably clean your room " I said back to her with a grin.We always have this little fight, but this is the reason why we kept close to each other even though she is busy with work.

" Look at you two,don't wash your clothes " Dad snapped back at us,making both of us giggle. Mum patted the bed,asking me to sit beside her.

I do as she said and make myself comfortable as she wraps one of her arms around my shoulder.

" Honey, do you ever trust in magic? " She said to me while raising her eyebrows. I frowned at her question.

" No I guess, they are unreal "I said to her. She nodded at me before taking my hands and holding it tightly.

" Well, I do, " She said with a smile.I shocked at this but then laugh.She probably just teased me.

" And what is it,mrs Granger? " I said, mocking Mrs.Rodalh's voice, our neighbour.

" Stop it, Hermione " She said with a giggle.Mrs.Rodalh is Timothy's mother, who always got into fight with mum. But they'll always help each other at the end, cause we've known them for long time. They are nice people, just the way raising child is different.

"I've heard one of the most famous stories of all, it's about a young boy whose parents were killed by the bad wizard " She said to me.

" What happened to that boy? "I asked as I got curious.

" I don't know,some said he is alive and some said he is dead " She explained to me.

" But I don't know if it's real " She said looking into my eyes.

" Do you wish it were real? " I asked her.

" Yeah,I do " he smiled at me.

" I do too, if magic is real, then I don't have to work, I'll just ask for food or money or a car " Dad interrupted us with his imagination.

We giggle together,btalking more about how fascinating it is to have magic in our life.

Then suddenly I heard someone knocking on our door. We exchanged some glare before throwing our hand in a circle, playing rock, scissor and paper.

And guess who loses, yup it's me. I don't know why they keep winning while playing with me. Like they just know I'll show a scissors. I thought that was a good strategy but turns out just bring me a bad luck.

I grinned at them before heading towards downstair. I opened our door, finding my eyes landed on an old woman, wearing a black full-body-long-sleeves with a green full-body-long-cloak on top of it. She had parchment on her hand.

She smiled at me as she bent her knee.

" You must be Hermione Granger "She gave me a sweet smile.I nodded at her and she looked pleasant.

" Who is it,honey? "I heard dad's voice, calling for me. I turned around,seeing my dad's eyes focus on the woman.

" May I help you? "He said as he stood in front of her. I moved aside while eaves dropping my dad conversation with her.

" You must be Mr.Granger, nice to meet you "

The woman said with a cheerful tone and a smile. My dad nodded and replied her smile before dad asked him to have a cup of tea.

She smiled and nodded to dad and followed him from behind.

As they sit on the couch, I take a seat next to dad, while mum prepares the tea.

" Let me introduce myself first "She paused, smiling at us.

" My name is Minerva McGonagall and I am Deputy Headmistress from Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry " She paused again looking at the two of us.

" What? " My dad managed to say after a silence.

" I've never heard of the school " He admitted looking straight at the women who can't stop smiling at us.

"I know, I know you won't " She said with a grin.

" It's a school of magic, where wizards and witches learn magic to defend themselves and how to produce them "

She finished,giving us a moment to process her words.

" A magic School? " I closed my mouth as I slipped it over.I looked at my dad and asked for an apology.

" Yes,honey.It is a school of magic.And I'm here to tell you that you've been accepted as one of the students there " She said with a smile.

My jaw dropped. I never felt fascinated like this.

"Really?"I said,already excited at the thought.I have read many books about magic and I still love them.Now I get to learn magic myself.This is the best thing that happened to me.

"But,that can't be real?"My dad said as he was still confused.

"I guess I've heard it before"Mum interrupted us as she poured the tea and sat next to me.

"You must be Mrs.Granger,nice to meet you"Mrs.McGonagall said to mum.

"Nice to meet you too,"Mum replied with a smile before continuing.

"I heard it was from the boy I told you just now."She said to us,reminding us about the boy's story.

"You mean that magical story about the boy whose parents were killed by an evil wizard?"My dad recalled it and mum nodded to her.

"It's surprising you know about it"Mrs.McGonagall said with a grin.So she knew about it,maybe it's right.I stare at her,hoping she could tell me.

"We can talk about it later"She said as she met my eyes with a smile.I blush lightly and nodded.

"Can you tell us more about this school?"Dad suddenly asked her.Maybe interested in magic goes on his body now.

"Of course,we may start with this"She said as she handed the parchment she has been holding all the time to me.

I surprise and look at my dad,asking permission if I could take it.He gives me a nod and I take it and say thank you.

Mrs.McGonagall smiled at me.

I looked at the yellow parchment with a purple seal.I never saw anything like this before.I took a glance over my dad,mum and Mrs.McGonagall.They all waited patiently as I started to open the parchment.

I found a letter in the enveloped.It is written in green ink.I looked at it and found some kind of logo with a letter H in the center of it.There is Lion,Snake,Eagle and Badger.It is unique as each of them have its own colour.

I moved my eyes to the writing and started to read it one by one.

(Order of Merlin,First Class,Grand Sorc., Chf. Warlock,Supreme Mugwump, International Confed. of Wizards)

Dear Mrs Granger,

We are pleased to inform you that you have a place at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Please find enclosed a list of all necessary books and equipment.

Term begins on 1 September. We await your response as soon as possible.

I reread the letter again and again.But the amazement in my mind can't just move.

"Can I read it,honey?"Mum asked me.I nodded and handed it to her.Dad already moved to sit next to her as he also wanted to read it.

I stare at Mrs McGonagall as she smiles happily looking at dad and mum.Then her eyes turn to me and she widens her smile.

"Am I a witch?"She asks carefully.Its been popping in her mind since she told her about Hogwarts.

"Yes you are,little Mrs.Granger"She said with a pleasant smile.

I smile at her back,the happiness on my mind can't seem to stop.
