3 Diagon Alley

2 weeks later

July 31,

We stopped infront of two alley that we didn't know which one to enter.

"Hermione, which one should we enter?" Mum said with a worry. I look at her with hands in the air.

"I don't know, professor McGonagall said just follow your heart" I said to her, repeating McGonagall words.

Then suddenly there is an owl flying over us straight into one of the alley.

"I think we should follow it" Dad said with unsure tone. We've never heard of this place and they said full of magic items.

As we follow the owl, we found a strange place, with mostly people using dark colour of clothes. They staring at me before smiling so creeply making me hold my dad and mum hands tighter.

We walked past through them,its look like a bar where there is some people drinking and chattering.

Suddenly there is hands grabbing my dad shoulder. We turn around and see a man who wear clothes like a waiter. He smile to us before gesturing us to stand near him.

"I think you are not a wizard sir" He said with a smile before looking at me.

"But maybe this girl are" He smile again and pointing us towards one of the door.

"There is the entrance of Diagon Alley, I thought you are looking for it?" As the words fell from his mouth, mum and dad sigh relievely.

"I'm Tom by the way,and this place called Leaky Cauldron" He smile to my dad.

"Thank you sir, I am Mr.Granger" Dad said before shaking hand with the guy.

"Come and have some nice drink here next time" Dad nodded to him before asking to leave.

We walk past him and straight to the door.I steal a glance towards the place before walking out from it.

"Phew, that's a relief" Dad said patting his own chest. Mum link her arms with dad with a grin. She looks relief too.

"You don't know how much I'm feeling scared inside that place ,Leaky Cauldron" Mum said tightening her hands on me.

I smile at her nodding as well. It is kinda scary as well, looking at those people eyes staring at us.

I just then realise we are in a very different place even its actually near to Leaky Cauldron. Then I heard someone talking.

"Welcome to Diagon Alley!" I turn around and saw a half giant men with a black beard talking to a boy.

Before I could see the boy face, mum dragged me enter to one of shop in that place that being called as Ollivander Wandmaker.

I let my eyes wonder around the shop,looking everything from the corner until it stop at an old men with a messy blonde hair, smiling at me as we approach him.

"Hi! Welcome to Ollivander Wandmaker" He said as he shaking hand with dad. Mum smile to him as he turn his gaze to me.

"What is your name?" He ask with a small smile.

"I'm Hermione Granger" I answer honestly with a smile.

"Hi mrs.Granger" He smile at me.

"Do you like books?" He ask me suddenly.

I stare at him before nodded.

"I love reading them" I said cheerfully, my mind suddenly filled with a lot of books I haven't read yet. There are tons of them and I think it's better for me to bring them to Hogwarts. I can fill up my time with them.

"You are a muggle-born?" He said with me. I furrow my eyebrow at him. What is muggle-born?

"I don't understand?" I ask him back as he nodded at me.

"So you are a muggles" He said with a half smile.

"My mother is muggle too" He said again but this time its look like he think about something else.

"What is muggle?" Mum said maybe as confuse as I am.

"It is a non magical person or simply as not a wizard or witch." He tell us and we nodded to him.

"Well now let us get your wand,let me try to guess" He said before leaving us and enter one of the space between cabinet.

All of it full with a mysterious box but I guess it is a wand as its name,wandmaker. I wonder if it like the wand I've always read on a book?

He finally come with one of the box with him.He smile before opening it and hand me a black wand. I take it hold it on my hands.

"10" long with a unicorn hair and made of hawthorn wood.A little felxible" He said and smile to me. My jaw already dropped as I can't understand any of it.

"Come on,give it a flick" I do as it say. I flick it slowly and suddenly everything get messy and thing fly around my head. Its look like there is something wrong so I stand at my mum's back.

"Maybe wasn't the right one" He simply take it back from me and put it on the box. All the mess stop and I let out a relief sigh.

He go again but to a different cabinet.He looks confident this time and take one of the box and gave it to me.

I slowly open it and take the wand right in my hand.He nodded at me, asking me to do the flicking again.

I do it but kindly scared that the mess might happen again, but this time there is light surrounding me. I chuckle a little as amazed by its beauty.

"I should have known" He said before smiling at me.

He take the wand back, looking at it again.

" 10'3/4 long and possesed a dragon hearstring core,made of vine wood and not really flexible" He said with a grin before handed it back to me.

"That is your wand, Mrs.Granger" He look at me and then my parents.

"What happen about all the mess before?" Finally my dad ask him.He just gave a smile.

"The wand choose its wizard,sir" He smile and look at me.

"And your daughter have been chosen by that wand" I smile at him. It makes me happy to be chosen by this precious wand.

I admire the yellowish colour it have and the carv its have. I place it back on the box and gave it to my mum and dad as they ask to look at it.

We pay for it with the wizards money and ready to leave the shop.

"Goodbye mr.Ollivander" I said with a grin.

He nodded and we walk out from the shop. One item done!

We move to our next destination,in the North Side to buy my books.

As we passed many shop, we found many new magical thing. I saw one of the shop called Quality Quidditch Supplies and another is Slug and Jigger's Apothecary. I look inside of it and found many weird yet fascinating items. Mum and Dad also pointing at many things, asking theirselves what it is.

We finally arrive infront of Flourish and Blotts. We glance at each other and without another word, we enter the place.

As we enter it, we found ourselves on a place full of books,its already look like a library.And I, I love library.

I started wonder around as dad and mum help me buy the books for school. There is many type of magical book in there.

I read one of it and furrow my eyebrows.

Quidditch Through The Ages

It is a green book and very thick. I look at it and saw that it is written by Kennilworthy Whisp.

As I just about to take a closer look on it,mum call my name. She have done paying for the books. She put it in one of the magical bag we've just bought. The bag can be filled with many things even it is smaller than a school bag. She put all my book and we leave the shop.

School Book? Done.

Now for the one last thing, My school byclothes. I've been told that we will wear a robe. So we go to one of the shop called Madam Malkin's Robe for all occasions.

After finish fitting myself, we pay for the robes.Its smallest size as I'm not really tall. But for me, its literally oversize. But we couldn't care less and just buy it.

We walk out from the store and headed back to Leaky Cauldron. Mum and dad buy some sweet from The Magical Sweet Shop on our way back.

As We arrive infront of the door, I turn my gaze to my left and saw the same half giant men. He still cheerfully talking to a boy, this time I got to look at him a little as I sneek my head.

He wear a glasses and a blue shirt. I smile as I look at him,feels like he is someone special. But that's all I saw as we enter Leaky Cauldron and go back to our home.
