1 Prologue

Darkness, Darkness everywhere!!!!

Falling into the abyss, as I open my eyes to see reality. The Situation and the End in front of me.

Yes, this was it!!!

I died!!!

Let's go back to the past and think, why was he falling into darkness and why was he not in the eternal slumber that he so desired?

Past was misery and now present brings the Unknown!!

I used to think I was special. Born in a rich house with no need for anything. I had things that everyone desired.

But yes, BUT!!!!

Everything comes at a cost, and I paid it in full. I suffered more than what I was offered and in return my despair, and my pain was immeasurable.

I used to live a carefree life and was good at everything, be it sports or academics. I topped it all.

But then the accident happened that changed everything. Made me eat up my happiness and turned it into despair. I could not do anything to change it and all hope was gone.

Now I am falling into this darkness. Deep black with nothing to offer but confusion to my senses.

Why am I here? What is this endless abyss? Am I dead or am I just dreaming?

Then the voice came

"You are indeed dead, child of despair"

I was shocked and couldn't believe it. In this darkness was a sentient being. But why would anyone live here? In this eternal abyss?

The voice again said, "let's not think about what this place is, think about what brought u here?"

I started to think and grasped the answer.

"So is this the so-called afterlife? Am I in hell of my choosing?"

"No, you are in your mind. Your mind that is filled with dark thoughts and shattered dreams. Tell me, kid, what is it you desire truly?"

'what is this voice saying? I died right? So why am I not in hell or heaven? I was fricken religious and believed in God! Yes in one God and only One.'

"Are u an angel sent by God to send me to Heaven because I already have suffered enough to go to Hell? Just send me to my realm of peace and tranquility where I shall sleep eternally"

The voice exclaimed "Can't do that because you failed in the test of life. So how about a new life but this time with some benefits and Missions?"

"What? Why? No way, I don't want to reincarnate in some shitty novel or game world, that is just a fake illusion of depraved authors who can't get girlfriends in real life. Real life sucks ass!!! Nothing is easy and everything is a mess and you need to work hard to get things done. Misery, depression, and madness is the norm for normal as well as elite depending on the fate they are given."

The voice chuckled and looked amused, and I was pretty sure it was a messenger or angel of God sent to put me through another course of misery and despair in another world where I might not win at all.

"Kid how about give and take, huh? You help me by keeping me entertained and I would grant you what you desired the most..."

My inner voice echoed.

'Peaceful and easy life...'

"Yes all u desired will be yours, but in return give me a show of my life, Goodbye, and Goodluck Kid"

"No, wait, I AM NOT..."

My mind was cut short and I faded...
