Chapter 24(Magic towers)

[After the End of the war 3000 years ago, the humans changed, they realized they had a hidden potential that no one knew of before, at the end of the war all the human soldiers who were lucky enough to come back from battlefields, told there experiences and sacrifices they made in that war to all, they became legends and were labeled as our Ancestors, even if someone from low origin were given a noble title and land to rule, all the rulers that didn't participate in the survival of humanity were dethroned and replaced by our current Ancestors.

And the bravest and kindest human general in the army of Great King Reinfrid was nominated as King of all left humans and given the Royal name "Moonlight" which signifies Hope in the darkest hours of our life.

The first Nominated king followed the steps of King Reinfrid and went on a journey to unite all the Races not for any other wars or conquest, but in hopes of knowledge.

King Rienfried our Great Ancestor was one of the first humans to ever use magic in recorded history showing humans their potential and in the hope to give this gift to all the first human king "ALONSO MOONLIGHT" suggested the formation of "Magic Towers" under which humans and other races can learn how to use magic and at the same time learn to coexist.

Thus the formation of the first great magic tower began, many great dwarf elders came together to support the formation of magic towers and poured their resources to build them.

The First Magic tower was built on the Edge of magic elf forest on an island near the capital city Cawic.

This tower was known as The Aberant Obelisk, named after a different vision for the future and the strongest rock used to build it.

Seeing the growth of children could be much more in a protected but competitive environment many other smaller towers were built around the world to nurture the next generation. And not only this but many other towers were built by other races where they share their knowledge with different races.

And as you all may be aware that among all these towers there stood 7 towers at the top and are labeled as Greater Towers. and each year they come to the capital in search of hidden talents.

They conduct a test in which if one passes they can be part of Great tower and enjoy fame and resources that others could only imagine. So if you wanna even pass this test you should have strength and knowledge above your peers]

It was one of the morning lectures of mother in which she told about magic tower history.

So that scary cat Alonso became king after my death and initiated this Tower making process through which humans developed their mana system and now stand toe to toe with other races. quite brave for a person who was even afraid to look me in eyes and stammer whenever he would try to suggest something.

But even after knowing they developed a unique mana system with help of Elves and Dwarfs and then also thus doesn't explain how in the first place human who is innately unable to channel mana, suddenly have such a drastic change.

[Anyone have any doubt] asked my Mother.

To which Yom asked [ Master, Could you explain the foundation of water magic again]

This was another change that happened in this season, after facing many challenges and after the upcoming mother test, she finally acknowledged him as her Discipline.

And after becoming official discipline Yom became much more dedicated to his Growth, as other than being the strongest among all his current peers which are 3rd ring stage, but he is behind everyone cause I heard my mother say one day that

[Listen Yom now that you are official discipline under me, you have no time to slack of, there is a harsh reality that you should face, that you are also oldest and thus have the least time and seeing your cultivation process till now you have the least talent, so you need to train more diligently and you need to take risk from now, fight someone that are stronger than you, fight someone that can threaten your life, it is the only way I can think of to unlock your hidden potential if any.]

That was the reason for his current dirty visage, and his swollen eyes, but yet they burned with passion, which signifies the changes he went through, and observing his changes made me hope for his better future.

Speaking of the future I need to do something about myself even after the whole season passed which I estimated to be time around I started talking, but all I could do is cry a little less than before and have more control over my body and that includes sliding like a worm. Me a Ruler that heavens feared is crawling to do something.

Well except for all that life is going pretty smooth.

But seeing my slow growth it is about time I start learning the human's mana Systems. But there is a problem that I came to know, a human can only start to practice mana when he or she gets the nearest priest's blessing and at the same time their potential reading. But this all happens at the age of 4 or 5. But in my case I got heavens blessings that can be said to be the same level as gods blessing I think so I should be able to start mana practice, but the problem is this I am still unable to sense mana, I have been trying to sense mana from few days but that was all up to no good, even in my previous life I don't even know the sensation of felling mana for the first time.

According to my previous memories, there were some races that could even common mana to their will and allow it to fill their cores, there were also certain races that are said to be blessed by mana thus mana gets attracted towards them naturally and fills their core.

But from my memories of the past, whenever I wanted to perform something using mana it just flowed according to my imagination and I did not even channel mana cause it came naturally as breathing to me before, all I did was to take a deep breath and that's all it took to fillup my mana reserves.

Suddenly it came to me, it struck me like a bolt of million-watt lightning if in my previous life all it took was a breath then could I do not do the same here,

Yes, definitely I could do the same if I could not do who would be able to do it,

All I need to do is breathe.
