Chapter 16 (Unexpected Disciplines)

Cheers of joy filled the fields and a crimson glow illuminated the sky, it was a perfect recipe of happiness.

Every participant was celebrating their own victory like "Vina" who didn't expect the second rank with one victory was celebrating with her whole family, Her Father mother and I think her big brother was loudly cheering for her while having a group hug, but some were still focused on their losses like Yom Tomen who not only lost to Flora but was barely able to win against Stan, Speaking of Stan he was now in the stage of enlightenment, after recovering and listening to all that happened on stage he quickly tried to do same and was currently in the stage of enlightenment under guidance and protection of Domas.

Soon we went away from the stage towards the winner of completion, flora. Mother and papa quickly congratulated Flora and then Lilly for Victory. Both flora and Lilly talked a little and Mother and Lilly told Flora about her mistakes and guided her further a little.

All the fireworks came to an end after the whole quarter tick. And after some time all the chatter subsided. Followed by which all of them again gathered around the arena and Mother and Papa again took the center of the stage.

[We had a wonderful time and our little ones showed us how far they have reached. Their talent is our Pride and we humans are known for being prideful. Now that the contest is concluded we must let our pride shine bright, thus as we do every 5 years, Lilly and Village madam as 2 of the great mage in our village will choose their disciple, but till the time Lilly is pregnant, Lily's disciple will be under the tutelage of Village Madam.] said, papa.

Both aunt Lilly and my Mother came center of the stage and were both holding Trinkent f their own through which voice can be enhanced. They once starred at all participants that were standing in line in front of them.

[I shall go first, Vina Greenhorn and Lora crimson will you be under my totulage] said aunt Lilly.

To which Vina happily agreed and Lora was in shock, well it is to be said as Vina performed much better in comparison to Lora and she also lost to Vina in her first match, but she was still selected as a personal discipline that has to be a shocker.

Then suddenly she realized that everybody was staring at her and then she realized she still hasn't agreed, thinking this she lowered her head and said yes in an embarrassed tone.

[I will try my hardest to be proudly called your personal discipline Master.]Both of them said in unison and bowed down.

[Good good, Village madam I will be leaving them under your care for now, please take care of them.] said, aunt Lilly.

[No issue Lilly your first priority now is to take care of yourself. You two can come to my house a tick after sunrise ok.]said mother to which both girls bowed again.

[Then I will go now, Flora Amberly and Yom Tomen. But Flora will only be my personal discipline as for Yom I have selected you only to see how much can you grow if given a proper path, you are already 18 this year so your challenges will be difficult than Flora, if u could pass them then I will take you as my personal discipline.]Said, mother.

[It's my honor] said, Flora while bowing down.

[I would also be honored and will make sure to become your personal discipline.]Said Yom Tomen, with tears filled in his eyes.

I think the age he is at, his stage should be considered low, so which means my mom giving him a chance can be considered as a life-changer for him. He must have never expected to be chosen after getting the third rank.

[Now that the Discipline ceremony is over I would like to state that if any of the participants are not satisfied by chosen discipline we give you full freedom to challenge any disciple after the next moonrise(1). After which we left the stage.

Then after some time of strolling and replying to the greeting of all villagers, we stopped at a beautiful-looking building.

[Domas did you made a reservation that I asked for.] Said, Papa.

[Why are we stopping here husband and you know she doesn't really like me you know]said mother in a hushed tone.

[Dont worry wife, I know you had an argument with her but you should also know we should get little Alan her blessings, it's important and also a custom. ]said papa in a reassuring tone.

[Ok I believe you for now, but let me tell you if that old hag...]before the mother could finish her sentence the door opened, and lo behold an old hag appeared.

[Someone is sure getting gutsy with her age ha...ha ha ha .. oh oh oh]said the old hag while laughing and coughing at the same time. what a crazy lady.

She was just 3 shoot(2) tall and had a hunch back, but her feet were somehow floating above the ground on their own.

She had a mysterious look in her eyes that was accompanied by the wrinkle look on her face and black robe covering her body and at lastly her floating in the air made her look like a ghost rather than human.

She came near me and jumped right above my face

[Oh you must be little Alan, I am Tresa Medusa and You can just call me grandma when you grow up ok...] said, Grandma Teresa. while floating right above my face.

"You ghost stay away from me who said you could be my grandma out of nowhere, sho away your little piece of old Ghost otherwise you don't know what I can do with you.

[I won't go anywhere what you would do little one, and all things that float are not Ghost.] said grandma Tressa.

What did she just read my mind, or did she just guessed what I was speaking, is she really a Ghost, is she trying to capture my soul. what is she Gonna Do?

[What did he speak to you old hag]asked Mother.
