Artifact

At this point In time, yashamaru was no longer just a stranger to him, he was like the mother figure he never had, along with his siblings.

Gaara loved and treated yashamaru like a brother, uncle, aunty and mother in certain areas of his life depending on the situation.

And yashamaru paid no heed to this, he was just truthfully joyed to be with them, it filled up the empty void of losing his sister.

"Gaara I had to tell the Lord kazekage about the training you were going through with me because if I didn't then he would still have found out another way."

"..." Gaara didn't reply him as he stared into space.

"To put it correctly he already knew you were training in medical ninjutsu and was just asking to tie up any loose ends"

"I understand" Gaara said as he continued staring into space before posing a question to yashamaru.

At this point In time it wasn't news to them that Rasa was an asshole.

"Why do you think my father wants me to make contact and control the one tails, I mean I haven't even seen the one tailed beast, what if I can't control it"

Gaara obviously feigning ignorance trying to get information from yashamaru, yashamaru may be a Shinobi medical ninja but he was also part of the military Shinobi force so of course he knew somethings Gaara did not.

And to Gaara what he actually wanted to know was that wasn't he going to be the one in control for the tailed beast, if he is? how is Rasa going to control him and what for, I mean having a tailed beast is one thing but it's just the one tailed, other countries probably have even better, so he fails to see how Rasa was to utilize him something was missing.

Immediately yashamaru heard his question, he changed the topic and asked Gaara about what was in his hands.

Not that yashamaru couldn't tell gaara one or two things but yashamaru knew very well more than Gaara how tight Rasa had all the Shinobi under him in his grasp, so hard that it would be hard for information to leak without him Knowing.

And even though someone were to go against him, Rasa wasn't merciful, so for Gaara's own good, it was best to feign ignorance.

"Oh? It's … a gourd?"

" it's not just any gourd, it was a gourd specially made for you gaara, it's an artifact"

'Artifact? Did Gaara ever had any artifact? He thought as he tried recalling the storyline'

"Try infusing some chakra into it if you can"

In an instant the fist sized gourd turned to a ten inches sized gourd

Gaara couldn't believe, how could he forget, this is literally Gaara's signature item, it was an artifact?

"What's an artifact?"

Gaara asked yashamaru obviously interested now

"I don't exactly know, they are just specially created items for special reasons"

"So what is this artifact used for" Gaara asked

'it was only known to store unknown amount of sand'

"I don't know Gaara, you'll have to find out yourself after constant usage"

Yashamaru exhorted Gaara again
