13 Meeting Hardworking Geniuses

Fugaku examined his body, his relief palpable as he confirmed everything was intact.

With a heavy heart, he stowed away the pendant, a sense of sadness washing over him as his hope of returning home dwindled. Resigned to his current situation, he knew he would have to seek another way back.

Taking a sip of water, Fugaku marveled at his restraint, grateful he hadn't inadvertently crushed the glass with his newfound strength. As he pondered his next steps, the sounds from the kitchen drew his attention.

Shaking his head helplessly and listening to the sound of the kitchen, Fugaku slowly got up and wanted to help.

"Why are you here? Dinner will be ready soon," Mikoto's voice called out from the kitchen.

Sighing softly, Fugaku rose from the couch, intending to offer his assistance. However, as he approached the kitchen door, he halted in his tracks.

"Dinner will be ready soon," Mikoto repeated without turning around, sensing his presence.

Unable to resist, Fugaku crept up behind her, enveloping her in his arms and relishing her warmth. His breath quickened as he nuzzled her neck and whispered in her ear, eliciting a gasp from Mikoto.

"What are you doing? I'm cooking... don't... don't..." she protested weakly, her resistance fading as passion took hold.

"Come on, dinner can wait," Fugaku insisted, his desire igniting a fervor that soon consumed them both.

Hours later, spent and breathless, Mikoto could barely stand, her stamina tested by their fervent lovemaking.

Finally, Mikoto, whose stamina rivaled that of a jonin shinobi, could barely stand. She pleaded with him to stop, and he obliged with a satisfied grin.

Sinking onto the tatami mat in the living room, Fugaku let out a long sigh. Though he had dozed off after his first day's tasks, he now realized that Mikoto's awkward gait wasn't merely due to inexperience; he had indeed gained significant strength since then.

Contemplating the source of his newfound prowess, Fugaku wondered if it stemmed from his yang chakra, originating from the most yang part of his body. Puzzled yet intrigued, he couldn't help but mull over the enigmatic figure who had brought him to this world.

Glancing at the breathless Mikoto beside him. "Are you… Are you okay?"

"No... nothing, ah, hiss," Mikoto replied weakly, attempting to rise but finding her body too rigid to move.

With gently embracing her, Fugaku lifted her in his arms and carried her to the bedroom, laying her down tenderly.

"I'm really sorry. Why don't you rest for a while?" he suggested, offering a comforting smile as he tucked her in with a blanket before quietly exiting the room.Reflecting on the repercussions of his enhanced strength, Fugaku realized that it wasn't all advantageous. Feeling a sense of disconnection from the experience, he grabbed a bite to eat from the kitchen before retreating to the yard.

Gazing up at the stars, Fugaku felt a twinge of melancholy as he found his way to the open space behind Hokage Rock. Spotting a small mound of dirt beneath a towering tree, he settled down beside it, addressing the mound with a mixture of solemnity and regret.

"It seems like I'm using my remodeled body to completely replace you, huh?" Fugaku murmured softly. "Sorry, mate. Don't blame me. I don't know what's going on here either. It's a pity to let you be buried here."

"But now that I've taken your identity, I'm not someone who goes back on his word. I'll do my best to help you fulfill what I promised," he vowed, though with a note of uncertainty.

Leaning back against the tree trunk, Fugaku gazed at the sky, his thoughts drifting. "Ah, well. You probably can't hear me anyway. never mind. I'll come back to see you when I have time."

He leaned back against the tree trunk and looked at the sky. He sighed for a long time. "Ah, well. You probably can't hear me anyway. Forget it. I'll come back to see you when I have time."

"Hm? Who?" Fugaku's voice echoed across the expanse of Hokage Rock as he scanned the surroundings, his senses heightened.

"Effort is never betrayed; move forward, Guy; this is youth," a voice resounded from a nearby slope, followed by a youthful response.

Fugaku's gaze settled on two figures in tight green suits, one large and one small, making their way towards him. An expression of curiosity flickered across his face.

A child, seemingly eight or nine years old, crawled upside down towards him, while an adult, presumably the child's father, ran behind, cheering him on. It was Might Guy and his father, Might Duy—two formidable taijutsu masters. Fugaku marveled at their dedication, training even at this late hour.

"Hey, are you still training this late?" Fugaku called out, addressing Might Duy.

"Huh? Oh, yeah!" Might Duy replied, his attention still focused on his son. Catching sight of a figure in the distance, he squinted, wondering who it could be.

"Hey, guy, you keep moving while dad goes ahead and sees who's joining us in our quest," Might Duy instructed his son before turning his attention towards Fugaku, a hint of curiosity in his gaze.

"Okay, Dad"
