She always thought Uchiha Fugaku was a serious and responsible guy who never cracked a smile. That's why it was so shocking to see how sweet he could be. When her friend complimented her husband, Mikoto smiled sweetly: "Minato is nice guy too."

"Okay, you two chat for a bit, I'm going to cook. Oh, and Kushina, why don't you invite Minato over for dinner later? He can try the new dish I've been working on." Uchiha Fugaku said to the two of them, feeling helpful. He had cooked a few times in the past three months, but he took over the role of cook after finding out yesterday that Mikoto was pregnant.

Although he used to be a guide, he had a friend who was a chef and he learned some skills from him. The dish he bought today was also what he told Mikoto last night.

Kushina looked at Uchiha Fugaku with disbelief. The clan leader actually cooked at home? Even though ninjas had learned some basic cooking for their missions, it was only for survival and convenience. Most of the time, they relied on military rations to fill their stomachs.

"This is called Tekkadon"

"What about this?"

"This pressed sushi variety consist of a sushi rice base that is topped with marinated mackerel fillet, which is typically covered with a thin, delicate layer of kelp!"

Kushina also looked at Uchiha Fugaku with a surprised expression and said, "That… Fugaku-sama, where did you learn this?"

Fugaku lied through his teeth and said, "Eh? I went to the Konoha Library the other day and saw it by chance. I thought it was good, so I learned it."

Anyway, Konoha Village library big, and there were so many library books inside, there was no way to confirm it.

"it's delicious..." Kushina took a bite of the Saba zushi and couldn't help but exclaim. Kushina admired Fugaku's culinary talent and called him over to give her some tips.

"What are you thinking?" A gentle voice asked from behind. Fugaku turned around and saw Mikoto smiling at him. He shook his head and said, "Nothing. I'm just wondering what we should name our son in the future."
