Chapter 17

Odetta

   He opened the door and entered. I followed him inside and turned visible. I looked at them. They were ice sculptures, the woman Lucia was wearing a corset, an extremely revealing corset. Her frozened hair is in curls that is reaching her mild back. Her face however is looking so terrifying. Her hands were up, shoulders wide. Her mouth is opened with her eyes wide. She looked shocked.

'Why does she looks so shocked?' I asked.

'Well after I froze her mate, she went hysterical yelling at me to unfreeze her lover. After she confessed I was very sad and sometimes my powers get out of control when my emotions get high. The room were I caught them was freezing up with spikes coming out of the walls and she was getting scared. She started screaming but my ice started freezing her from her foot. She tried to remove her legs from my ice but she couldn't. When the ice reached her waist she started screaming, shaking her head and her arms. She screamed until the ice completely froze her,' he said.

  I looked at Ryder. I remember him so well, especially that scar that he has in his eye. This is the man that destroyed my family and my happiness. He looks normal with his hands outstretched. The only abnormal thing about his ice sculpture is that his body is facing Lucia but his head is facing us. 

'Ever thought of unfreezing them?' I asked.

'Yes I have thought of it. I wanted to unfreeze them when I finally see you, so you can decide what you want to do with them,' he said.

'I feel like doing lots of things to them but I can't do it freely as this is not my real appearance, I don't want to get too angry, but there are things I could do, I can just taunt them or their emotions. Seeing this people especially Ryder makes me angry, but I will definitely enjoy taunting them' I said smirking.

'What are you going to do?' He asked. Grand father looked at me with suspicion

'They can feel their surroundings but can not see us right?' I asked.

'They can feel our presence but they can't see us or hear us' he replied.

'Good' I said. Then I sat on the floor and cross my legs, 

'Grand father sit on the floor in front of me and cross your legs' I said. He did as I said then I held his two hands then closed my eyes. I tapped into my witch powers, I can feel the soft breeze swirling around us. Then I started casting a spell. This spell is a special spell. It has been a long time since I tried it. I think about how my mother looks like with her special features like her hair colour, blue and red, her small nose that I inherited, her straight long hair, her brown eyes, her petite body and beautiful smile. I could feel my body changing. Then I think about my dad. His bulky body, his black hair, his ear shape which I also inherited and his little pale skin. I concentrated for a little while then I opened my eyes. 

  I looked at grandfather who now looks like my father. He look back at me with tears in his eyes.

'Hathor' he said moving in to touch my hair. Or rather my mother's hair.

'Grand father it is me, I just changed our appearances' I said. He chuckled while cleaning his eyes.

'I thought for a second that I was seeing my daughter' he said.

'Good since I had you fooled that means I can do what I am planning' I stood up. He also stand up. I brought my hand forward and touched their foreheads. I moved back and their body started melting.

'Nobody has ever been able to melt my ice, I guess tribrid's are really powerful as people said' he said and I smiled. Their body was still melting. After some time they melt completely. They both fall on the ground, it has been long they made use of their bones so they are weak.

 They both look at their surroundings in fear. Wondering what was happening. They haven't see anybody they are still thinking they are stalk in their worst nightmares. Lucia looked up from where she was sitting, she gasped loudly.

'Hh..hh..ha..thor yy..y.you ar..are al..live?' She said terrified. I smirked. Ryder also look at me and grandfather terrified. Wait so father and mother is not their worst nightmares? I guess Lucia's own will probably be she turned ugly. That is the worst nightmare for a fae woman right?

'Yy..you i..i t..tt.tau..ght y..you we….were d..d..dead' Ryder said stammering and shaking badly.

'Yes we are dead and we are here to taunt you' I said with a wicked and evil smile. They got more terrified and they started shaking. This is so much fun. If they have not been seeing father and mother as their nightmare I could taunt them a little with their apoearance.

'Hh…hh.hathor pl..please I ha..have s..uffered enough, I a.am be..begging yy..you' Lucia said crying miserably. I looked at grandfather, he has this silly look on his face, or father as a silly look on his face since grandfather is using his apoearance. Grandfather is evil. I started laughing very loudly with tears coming out of my eyes. Grandfather joined in laughing with me while they both look confused.

'Hey Ryder remembered when you wanted to kill my daughter and I, what did I tell you?' I asked. He was quiet for some time trying to remember maybe.

'Y…you s..s.said I s..sh..should s..spare y..you a.and y..your d..daughter t..that she is j..j..just a child' he said but his shaking is reducing.

'And what did you do?' I asked.

'I l..la..laughed' he replied. Looking at the floor.

'What again did I tell you?' I asked.

'y..you s..said I can kill you but not your daughter, you said your daughter will escape and she will avenge her parent's death and that she will destroy the terrible council' He said it very slowly. At least he is no longer stammering.

'Yes and what did you do after I said it' I asked.

'I la…lau..laughed at you' he whispered out. Then I changed my appearance back with grandfather's own. The both of them gasped. But not loudly a low gasp.

'Ti..titus' Lucia whispered.

'Yes Lucia it is I Titus we all know that' grandfather said with an eye roll. I guess this is where I got the eye roll from.
