Chapter 70: War

(POV) Lee

I didn't know how to react finding out Ai was my mother, the one that created me into existence. I don't want to admit it, but that was the truth unless she lied to me again. Before I knew it, I passed out and went into a deep sleep.

In my dream, I was watching myself through another person and experienced all the person's life and decision making. I knew her well; she was my real mother whose I just found out. I didn't know how to express the feeling I had within me, but I knew I loved her more than anything else in this world. At the same time, I can't accept the fact that she was my mother.

When I looked at her closely, she was in her mid-twenty similar to Anna, with long black hair that resembled Yumeko Jabami from Kakegurui, but she didn't have red eyes. She was totally my type of girl especially with her dark complexion showing from time to time; I know it was wrong to think about my mother that way, that was why I don't want to accept the fact that she was my mother.

With her who was mounted on top of me while trying to kiss me, I was speechless by her action; it seemed like she didn't have any parenting skills at all. I blocked her lips about to contact mine and asked her a question again.

She was crying when she got to that part because she had waited ten thousand years, but none of the children within her Familia showed up with darkness ability. The only good news was her daughter hasn't awakened her divine ability yet which she was relieved about.

She was crying even louder. After a while, she calmed down again and Lee decided to ask her another question.

"Why did you try to hide us from them?... "

Lee was confused about the fact that Ai tried to hide her children from the gods because they haven't done anything wrong.

Instantly, the room turned gray with a black and white color similar to her bedroom. The children of Loki familia who were sitting on the sofas around the table were shocked but didn't say anything.

"Everyone, I have an announcement to make! Let me introduce to all of you, this person here, he is my son! Hahaha!"

When they heard her statement, even the calm Riveria Ljos Alf vice-captain of Loki familia dropped her cup on the floor and as for others, they froze still, but only Finn Deimne, the captain still had a smile on his face.

The person who was most shocked out of the group was Bete who was sneering at Lee because they had a run down with each other before.

"Son? I thought he was your lover!"

Tiona who came back to her senses made her statement because they looked more like a lover than a mother and a son.

With a strict expression, Riveria asked Loki because it was no joking matter since the person in front of them is an adventurer. After all, they heard about him from Aiz before.

Instead of responding to her question, Loki introduced Lee to Riveria like she didn't hear her at all.

Aiz who had been quiet this whole time gave her statement.
