37 Chapter 37: Kourakuen

2PM in the afternoon.

Rooftop.

"That was an amazing lunch, Baki-kun.", Lala happily responded, her tail swerving around as she patted her stomach.

Lala and I could now be seen on my rooftop. There was a clear area on my second floor to reach it, because it didn't have just empty space. On my roof actually held a terrace, even though it wasn't a big one. Back in my past life, I used to come up here to enjoy the amazing views around the gigantic city, which was said to be the biggest megacity in the world.

I was looking to spend some quality time with Lala up here for the next hour as my Shadow Training started, but sadly, a third figure, who said he was going to leave shortly after lunch, could now be seen standing next to the two of us. I even saw the guy leave, but I guess that was just a ruse.

"And pray tell, why did you come up here with us, Zastin? I saw you leave with your guards earlier.", I asked the guy, the person who decided to follow us instead of leaving like he said he was going to.

"Oh, just came up to enjoy the nice view. Despite being a backwater planet, life really is bustling here, isn't it?", Zastin mused, seeing cars moving to and fro on the main highway further in the distance.

People upon people seemingly walking without an end in sight, and active trains going above ground shooting rapidly on their railways. It created a cacophony of sounds. If one added the chirping of the cicadas in the distance, it really was a harmony, in a way. It was much more harmonious than other megacities like New York City in the United States. It acted very soothing to those who liked white noise too. Easy to fall asleep to.

Tokyo is the never-ending city, as they say.

As to how this terrace went, it was overall a simple layout. Big enough to where a few of us could walk around, hold a barbeque, and enjoy the scenery. Couple benches, a few potted plants and a few trees to round the entire appearance off. It didn't stand out, and it was built in a way where people couldn't see us from down below. I had it particularly built that way.

But not that I'd ever consider it, if Lala did turn out to be that type of person, we could definitely do the deed here. It was that type of terrace.

I quickly shook the thought away though. I didn't want to take advantage of Lala like that.

"Well, considering Lala-chan is going to be staying here, I'd figure showing her the terrace was a good idea, seeing as she likes to sunbathe. That's only part of the reason I came up here though, until you decided to stay behind.", I said, squinting my eyes at Zastin.

"Mmm. It really does feel nice up here! The gentle wind really adds a nice touch. It's such a nice day out. It almost makes me want to enjoy it right now~", Lala said. I looked at her, and suddenly saw her reach her hands down. In the next moment, she grabbed the hem of her green skirt, and began to lift it up, revealing a pair of pink panties, causing me to suddenly pause.

"N-Now hold up just a minute, Lala-chan. Don't do that, okay? If you really want to, you can enjoy it after we're done with what I have planned, okay? Besides, Zastin is still here.", I said, pointing at the armored guy next to me. Seeing me do this just caused him to glance his eyes my way.

"Boo.", Lala retorted, revealing a cute frown over her lips.

"Oh please don't me. Just treat me like I'm empty air. His Majesty wanted a report on how you two are fairing, so part of the reason I remained was to check in on that. If you two want to act lovey-dovey, I'll just turn the other way.", Zastin said, turning his body the other way, letting his large back protrude out.

"See? Zastin doesn't mind it.", Lala happily responded.

These guys...don't contain a single shred of common sense, do they now?

I turned my head toward Zastin.

"Does Lala-chan do this frequently back on Planet Deviluke?", I couldn't help but ask, seeing Lala behave like this.

"You mean sunbathe? Quite frequently, actually. Why else would Lala-sama's skin be in such perfect condition? No one in their bright mind would dare touch Her Highness directly though, unless they had a death wish. I would often catch Lala-sama streaking back to her private quarters after her sunbathing session was done. It would sometimes cause a mess for her younger sisters to clean up.", Zastin said, explaining the situation to me. I raised my eyebrows hearing it.

"I can't help it alright? Sunlight really does feel good!", Lala retorted with another pout, her tail swerving a bit in response to what she just said.

What are you, a plant?

I only shook my head, rubbing the bridge of my temple with my fingers.

"If you really are for that, Lala-chan, we'll have to work something out. Just like how we set that first rule here. But going back to my previous point, this is a good vantage point to show you a few areas of interest that's around here. Tokyo is gigantic and it's very easy to get lost.", I began to say, drawing the two's interest. I saw Lala release her hands as she nodded her head, and her skirt fluttered a bit before it went back down. Zastin also turned around at this time. I did a motion of my hand, beginning to introduce the nearby layout to Lala and Zastin.

I took the time to approach the edge of the north side, which gave me a very widescape view of Tokyo, or at least some parts of it. Lala walked up beside me. Zastin went to another area of the terrace to let him get a good take of the view on his own. I started with the nearby supermarket.

"The closest building we got is where we can get the bulk of our food shopping done. I already had done my shopping on Monday, so there really isn't a need to go currently. If anything, we can do another round this weekend, considering if you're still here of course.", I began to say.

"Un.", Lala simply responded, letting her tail continue to serve around some more.

It was at this time we began to hear a faint toll of a bell that came from Sainan High in the distance. It was quite easy to spot this school, considering most of Tokyo was flat. It was 2PM now, and since my school started on the earlier end, classes were now ending for the day. If I squinted closely, I could see students start dispersing in groups. I pointed to that building next.

"And that building is Sainan High. If you want to study here, that's the school you will attend. If we come across Gojo-sensei before we head out in an hour, I'll introduce you to him. He was that white-haired fellow with the blindfold around his eyes.", I continued to say.

"That white-haired person huh? We exchanged glances this morning but he seemed pretty aloof to me. Is there a reason why he wears a blindfold?", Lala asked as it was unusual for her to see a man walking around with a blindfold on. I mean, who wouldn't be curious? And if Lala stays here, she will definitely come across more casts of Jujutsu Kaisen, so introducing her to Gojo-sensei will be a good start.

"I'm not sure, but it's likely due to the family he hails from." I answered Lala, staying vague on the matter of Gojo-sensei's eyes.

Gojo-sensei's family were the only people who could have those eyes after all. Very similar to the Demon Back I share with oyaji. Both considered techniques bound by one's bloodline. Gojo-sensei couldn't use my Demon Back and likewise, I couldn't use his Six Eyes. At least for now.

This world is much more likely to be technologically advanced than my past life, so there were possibilities of achieving different bloodlines down the line.

After introducing the marketplace and Sainan High to Lala, I turned toward another direction, and continued introducing some places to Lala.

"Behind us, about twenty kilometers out, is Haneda Airport. We have two primary Airports in Tokyo, with Narita being the other one. If you ever want to travel out of the country without the use of your alien tech, this will be the means to do so.", I briefly explained how travelling outside the country worked to Lala, I doubt she knew the gravity of how many countries we have here on Planet Earth.

And apart from these places, I introduced a few of Tokyo's districts that we could use to enjoy our date later. They were in a direct line to Suidobashi, mostly being Shibuya, Shinjuku, and Akihabara. Minus these places though, I held two final interest points to show her, and I started with the very large dome, which attracted guests far and wide all across the globe. For a good reason.

"You see that large dome beyond our school, Lala-chan? That place is where I will be spending the bulk of my time in the coming days. It consists of two parts, the dome, which frequently holds martial arts tournaments, and the garden next to it, which is a nice spot to relax and spend some time with. I've participated in quite a few of these tournaments, but going forward it's going to become quite a special place.", I said with a playful smile.

"Special how?", Lala asked me.

"The holy land for fighters, the Kourakuen.", I declared, revealing a smirk as Zastin and Lala looked at me with interest.
