27 Chapter 27: Even More Stats

[Have you calmed down, Master?], Aura said, hearing Aura's voice echo inside my mind. My boiling blood from a few moments ago had completely subsided now, and I took that time to wander toward the window, enjoying the sunlight landing on my body. I don't sunbathe often, but hearing Lala saying how good it was, I figured it was good to take a moment to do so, and she was definitely right on that matter. Letting the sun shine down on my body felt good and the sunlight began to relax my body. Clarity returned to my mind, making it at peace.

'Yes. I feel much calmer than I did a few moments ago. That is something I will have to get used to, being part of the Hanma bloodline. Father has the Demon Face, and eventually, I too will be able to utilize the Demon Face. It might already be developing with me being unaware about it. If I have any children down the line, they too would get this ability...', I inwardly thought to myself. Yurijo brought up the curse the Hanma blood shares, and this ability was tied to that curse.

It's a technique that allows Hanmas to drastically increase their attack speed, their attack power, and practically absorb any attack that was thrown at them, making it null and void.

To put it in a similar fashion, the Demon Face is very similar to a Saiyan's transformation, in becoming a Super Saiyan. They receive heightened agility and attack power from it. But on the bright side, the Demon Face doesn't seem to consume much stamina after activating it, while the Super Saiyan transformation consumes a lot of the Saiyan's stamina during use to gain that extra attack power. The Demon Face in return, has a limitation that is tied to one's genes. A person had to be part of the Hanma family to use the Demon Face. Or so it was explained, anyways.

Dragonball's transformations used multipliers as a way to show how much a person has gotten stronger, and transforming into a Super Saiyan allowed them to increase their strength fifty fold.

I am not expecting Demon Face to increase my power as much as a Super Saiyan would, considering I was still a human, and not a Saiyan. I wonder how much Demon Face would increase my power though. Would it just be a two-fold multiplier, ten-fold multiplier, maybe even twenty-five fold multiplier? And along those lines, considering the DBZ-verse is in this, I could potentially seek out Shenron and adjust Demon Face's attack multiplier within Shenron's capability to gain an advantage once those Saiyans arrive on Planet Earth.

The Super Dragon Balls would also be something to consider, but Earth's Dragon Balls did not contain that much power. They could revive the dead if one lived on Planet Earth, but I doubt these Dragon Balls had enough power that could alter a person's race into a higher level being, like changing a Human into a Saiyan.

It was but a fleeting concept for now, but depending on how things play out from here, if I decide to do a crazy maneuver, for example, 'kidnapping' Japan's Prime Minister during the conference that Doctor Briefs is scheduled to come to in the coming days, I could probably get some information of out of that as to where DBZ's cardinal cities were located.

I mean, Baki kidnapped the United States president just so he can test his strength against Biscuit Oliva, the person who claimed to be the strongest person of the United States. Even Yujiro saw Oliva as a companion.

But on that note, the Baki-verse liked to fantasize actual real people. An example of this is the United States upcoming 44th President, Barack Obama. In the Baki-verse, he went by the name Barack Ozma. Here though, would I see Barack Ozma, or Barack Obama? The same concept could be applied to other governments around the world. If I decided to kidnap the current Prime Minister of Japan, if I recall, he went by the name of Yasuo Fududa. Most ministers held a single year term with some exceptions, but I would have to search some information up to see who was who right now.

Though as I thought that, I soon heard Aura speak into my mind again, which drew my interest away.

[It is good that you have calmed down, Master. I don't want to ruin your train of thought of where your interests lay, but I would advise you to have another look at your status screen.], Aura said, drawing my interest.

'My status screen? I haven't done any training since after my session yesterday. Did something happen?', I wondered, musing at Aura's words.

[That seems to be the case, Master. Just don't be too shocked, alright? Several notifications came in during your slumber. I read through them. Lala's father, the current emperor of Planet Deviluke, Gid Deviluke, has announced to the planets under his rule of your engagement. It would appear your name has started to spread throughout the Milky Way in a span of a single night. Thanks to that, some new milestones have been reached. If anything, I would solely see this as a benefit for you, Master.], Aura explained.

Hearing that caused me to pause for a moment.

'Lala's father started to spread our names around alien worlds I don't know about? Some were shown in To Love-Ru but I'm sure there are many out there. So much for remaining low key.', I thought.

[It was a must, Master. Otherwise, suitors would still try to pursue Lala, despite her coming to Planet Earth. Since Gid announced your name, it is going to halt them from taking action. And in return, you reaped some benefits from it. Outside interaction like this can also trigger milestones, regardless if you are in the middle of training or not.] Aura explained. [And it is likely your name has been surfaced to the members of Planet Deviluke, including the royal family.], Aura continued to say.

'Well that much is a given. Gid's wife was pretty hot in the anime, almost making me a bit jealous that such a woman fell for him. She was even the last of her race too, if I recall. Her name was Sephie, wasn't it? Lala definiley inherited some of her goods...', I uttered softly, taking a moment to remember the suppleness of her figure being pressed against mine some moments ago when I woke up. Her breasts were on the larger size too...

I did give Lala a rule not to strut around the house naked seeing as guests likely will frequent the house in the coming days, but should I make an exception when we're alone during the night? I wonder if she was a person that likes to sleep without clothes on.

I shook that thought away for the time being, I'll bring it up with Lala later.

'Excluding Sephie, there was Momo and Nana Deviluke, Lala's twin sisters. Since Aura confirmed my name was spread to Planet Deviluke already, it's possible they know of my existence now, not that I'm complaining about it. It took them a while to venture to Planet Earth in the original anime, but it might play differently, depending on how much they take an interest in me. Momo specifically, she was much more of a pervert than Lala was.', I mused.

'Still, seeing as that announcement caused some benefits for me, I should at least have a look through those notifications. Since this happened during my sleep, any gains from this won't be triggered by Weighted Gain, correct?', I asked Aura.

[Correct, Master. Skills that directly trigger upon a stat gain will still trigger, regardless of outside influence, however.] Aura responded.

'Yeah. I am feeling stronger now that you've mentioned that. Even more so than yesterday.', I thought. With Aura's words in mind, I decided to have a look at the notifications that were sent my way during the night, and sure enough, there were quite a few of them.

Your name has been declared the future husband to the future vassals under Gid's rule inside the Milky Way. Thanks to this, your fame has started to rise.]

I could feel energy pouring through me as I continued to read these notifications. My body became sturdier, stronger, more flexible. If I were to strike out against an opponent, I feel I could land blows more efficiently.

And the notifications didn't stop there either, I started to see my skills start triggering my individual gains after reading those notifications.

Unfortunately, TEQ did not increase during these gains outside of the All Stat gain, as gaining bonus TEQ was solely tied to me doing Shadow Training. Though every milestone achieved during that, it would grant me additional stat gains as I previously saw the last time I used Shadow Training.

From the looks of it, there was a milestone for 100 points, 500 points, and 1000 points.

Three milestones were achieved for that. Additionally, because I achieved 500 points and 1000 points in a single stat, it granted me an all stat gain, just like how I got it for the 100 points. I figured this would be a one time thing. That meant If I gained 1000 points in another stat, I would not get that first milestone achievement.

However, the individual stat milestone would still trigger. I essentially got double the awarded amount because those milestones triggered simultaneously. I won't see this when I gain 1000 points in another stat. I will just see the individual milestones for that stat.

And sure enough after crossing some thresholds from those all stat gains, my stats were looking more monstrous than ever. The notifications didn't end there. These all stat gains triggered most of my skills to reach 100 points for each one, so I decided to let each one play out as it was music to my ears.

Power Up allows the user to spend ki to strengthen the user's body. Can be combined with other techniques.

Effect: Boosts Baki's STR, END, SPD by two-fold. Limited use. Each passing second will consume 1 ki. Power Up will lose its effect once ki has been depleted.

Current duration limit: 150 seconds.

[Ki Blast]

Condenses user's ki into a physical phenomenon, in the form of a small bright sphere. Causes massive destructive damage. The more ki consumed, the larger the blast and radius. User can also condense the formation of ki into a precision strike.

"...", I tried to utter, but couldn't find the words. My body was almost shining at this right with how much energy I could feel flowing through my body. I almost felt an urge to release it, but I held back. Even the punching bags I've purchased may not serve a use any longer. I now had the strength of thirty-four times the maximum a normal human can reach in their lifetime.

I am not sure what superhuman levels reach, but with just a couple days of living in this new world, I might already be approaching those levels. Man, I really want to see how other martial artists fare from the Baki-verse. Are they as strong as this, or are most common martial artists not up to what I currently have?

And on top of that, I finally met the requirement to utilize ki finally!

Just that alone got me super excited.

Down the line, I could even try to re-create Vegeta's Big Bang Attack.

I have no idea how much ki that consumes though.

Doppo invited me to visit his Shinshinkai Dojo today, potentially for his one a month street brawl he invites his own students to partake in, for the chance of becoming the new grandmaster there.

I could feel a strange energy flowing through my body that I really haven't felt before this, and I could only assume that was ki. Since I could manipulate it, perhaps trying out a ki blast on Doppo was the best route for me. His strength down the line could even injure Yujiro. Doppo had keen strikes with his Seiken Fist, but that wasn't what he was known for.

He had one of the best defensive techniques that was known to exist, the Rotation Fist. Very similar to the Hyuga fighting style in Naruto. Doppo could deflect anything thrown at him and counterattack with destructive power.

A look of anticipation appeared in my eyes seeing my ever-soaring stats. It was nice to see they were all finally over one hundred too. But in Yujiro's eyes, it was probably all the same to him.

I wonder if he knows if ki exists?

Thinking that, I soon heard one more notification that interrupted my celebratory mood, causing me to come to a complete halt in my train of thought.
