"In layman terms, that's the simple way of putting it. It combines a variety of aspects and features of created stories, meshing it into one.", God explained to me.

"In short, it's what you call a randomizer from your world.", God said, causing an incredulous look to appear in my eyes.

"HAH?", I yelled out in disbelief, not believing what God had just said to me.

"Is it really that weird? The God of Chaos was the one who implemented it. But every time I mention it to those souls that are eligible, they all share similar reactions to yours.", God said, scratching his cheek as he said that.

I just stared at God for a good moment before letting out a sigh again.

"Oh no, I perfectly understand what you just said. I'm just shocked it's actually a thing. Randomly creating settings to flesh out a world unknown to both divine beings and its soul in question?", I asked, still in disbelief.

"So you understand. This is great. It's still in its testing period, so if you're really that in doubt, Mr. Takakura, we could give it a spin, and you can have the final say whether or not you'll choose it. Depending on what's been presented to you, you can either choose it, or go back with either option two or one.", God suggested.

Hearing that, I inwardly sighed in relief, letting myself calm down after that momentary outburst.

"Sure. There's no harm in trying it out. I really am curious to see how this 'randomizer' would go down.

"Excellent.", God said, before he did a snap of his fingers. Before I realized it, space distorted beside us, and a rather large wheel appeared beside us. The number of presented options on it was so numerous that it was hard to see the names. There were likely thousands, if not tens of thousands of options on there, causing me to stare at the wheel for a good moment.

"The old classic approach? I thought this would have been digitized or something.", I uttered, seeing this gigantic wheel before me.

"Hoho, I could change it to that if you desire, Mr. Takakura. I figured this way would be easiest.", God explained, causing me to nod my head.

"Fair enough. So how does this third option work?", I asked.

"Well, to start with, we will first select the starting world you will be brought into. Before I explain the next steps, why don't we choose your starting world and see where you get placed first?", God responded to me.

"That sounds good. Let the wheel spin away.", I said, nodding my head.

"Very well.", God responded, and did one giant swing of his arms. God made this apparent heavy wheel spin forcibly with an insane pace like it was nothing. Guess you really can't judge a book by its cover.

This spin lasted for a moment on end. I stopped counting the minutes, just mindlessly watching this wheel spin, acting as if it was actually deciding my fate. In a way it was, but God said I could not choose this way, so I really wasn't sure what to feel right now.

Yet as I was lost in thought, a mechanical ding sounded off inside the room. It seemed the blue screen that was hovering over me changed, and displayed a new message.

[Ding! Mr. Takakura's Starting World has been selected. World of Baki has been selected.]

"...", I tried to say, but couldn't find words to spell out what was now going through me.

"It really is random, eh? World of Baki, I am not sure if I should be glad or uneasy about this. That place has all those martial art crazies right?", I asked.

"You'd be correct on that. But while that may be the case, depending on what we choose down the line, it may impact what is currently available in the World of Baki. I can go into more detail once we go down the list of features. Thankfully you lucked out. Depending on certain worlds, Planet Earth isn't the only starting point. But since Baki only has emphasis on Planet Earth, that will be your starting location.", God explained to me.

"That makes sense. It sounds like you have something to add to that though?", I asked with interest.

"I do. Since we cannot select your starting location within the World of Baki seeing its restricted to Planet Earth, we will proceed to select the city you will start in instead.", God said.

"Very well.", I said, nodding my head at God. God didn't even do anything before the wheel automatically updated with a very large list of city names unique to Planet Earth. The selections were still tiny and I couldn't read them clearly.

The wheel started to spin before I knew it and an unknown amount of time passed before the blue screen above me changed again.

[Ding! Mr. Takakura's starting city has been selected. Tokyo, Japan has been selected.]

Seeing this text appear, if I still had lips, they would definitely twitch a bit.

"Is this thing even random?", I immediately retorted, seeing Tokyo appear as my starting city. I guess I would be returning home after all, but to a different world, huh?

"Hoho, trust me it very well is, Mr. Takakura. Come, we still have many selections to do. To wrap your starting world, we will proceed to select your starting year. If you are wondering about the type of character you will become, we will leave as the very last selection once all the features have rolled out. Thanks to your present karmic value, you can either choose to become an original character, or choose to reincarnate as a major character in any of your selected stories.", God explained.

"Got it. Please proceed.", I said, nodding my head again.

The wheel did its magic, and I saw the text change again.

[Ding! Mr. Takakura's starting year has been selected. Year: 2008]

'The year 2008...', I inwardly thought to myself. 'It was 2024 when I died, so that means I'm travelling back into the past a bit. I could make use of this when the technology age is still in its infancy. Weren't the first ever smartphones getting introduced into the market around there?', I continued to wonder.

"You look satisfied with the chosen year. With your karmic value, I could let it respin a few times, would you be interested, Mr. Takakura?", God asked me, drawing my gaze back to him. I shook my head.

"Nah. Year 2008 is good. I can think of ways to make use of that placement. Plus technology is advanced enough to where I can enjoy myself as well. That period is the era of the PS3 and Xbox 360.", I responded with a smile.

"Suit yourself. Your main world has been chosen and you will be transferred to the city of Tokyo, Japan in the Year 2008. Now, let us proceed to our next feature, the Additional Worlds. As you called out earlier, I did say there would be stories intertwining with each other. We call these Additional Worlds, and they can directly impact or indirectly impact where you are currently placed. Would you like me to go into a bit of detail as to how that happens?", God asked me.

"Of course. Please do.", I responded, acknowledging his question.

"Hmm, let's take the world you were placed into, Mr. Takakura. The World of Baki. Let's revisit Naruto. These two do not have any direct impact with each other, considering they are located on two different planes. Let's say you received power strong enough to close those planes, you could find yourself in the world of shinobi. And likewise, if someone goes on a power trip on the opposite side, they could cause some chaos, letting random shinobi appear back on your Planet Earth. Situations like those.", God explained.

"Got it. There is always that uncertainty factor. Even if I remain peaceful in my world for a few years, seeing how ridiculous Naruto's power level system has gotten, a shinobi could easily get trapped and transported off-world. It really depends on what gets chosen next huh?", I uttered with interest.

"You catch on quick. I like that. It is exactly as you've said. But as far as direct changes go, if you end up with two Planet Earths, you won't see two separate planets, but a mixture of characters and scenarios arriving into the main world you have been selected.", God continued to say.

"I'm curious to see what additional worlds will get added to the World of Baki and your explanation was clear. What do we do next?", I asked.

"Well, to begin with, thanks to your present karmic value, we will determine the number of worlds that will get added to yours. This, of course, is affected by karma. The less karma you have, the more chaotic it becomes, letting more worlds reach the fifties, or even the hundreds if one is unlucky enough. For you, however, we will roll a number between one and ten. Each one is impactful, but it won't get as chaotic as it could get.", God said, causing me to nod my head.

This wheel was a lot smaller, and it took less effort to spin. This time I could see what was written on it.

[Ding! The number of additional worlds has been selected. Number: 6]

"...", I tried to say, but remained silent.

It was out of ten worlds that could have been added. So six wasn't the worst, around the middle range. But that means that would have seven stories mixing together, wouldn't it?

Just that alone sounds crazy enough. I couldn't even begin to imagine where this was all presented at true randomness to those less fortunate than me. Imagine having to deal with one hundred stories all trying to mix into each other, haha!

"Seems about average. You will be selecting six worlds from the wheel that you saw previously. Just note, you will not be able to select the starting point from those worlds, but those worlds may or may not directly impact Planet Earth of the World of Baki. This is where the randomness factor plays a role.", God said, smiling at me as he explained that.

The wheel suddenly grew a lot larger again as he said that, with so many options on there it wasn't even visible to the naked eye. I could only sigh seeing these many shows and comics printed on it. Seriously, it was insane. it's likely nothing was left out.

"I'll just give a reminder, what I provided was a mere example of what could happen from the choices you select. I will not be able to give any further explanation once your worlds have been selected.", God said in a serious voice.

"Makes sense. Giving insight to what could happen where I'm heading to is taking the enjoyment factor out. Let the wheel spin away.", I said. Hearing that caused God to nod his head.
