CHAPTER 2: To the Human Town
This is my second day as a cat! Me-ya-aw!! I am excited! For today's activity, we are going to a town, a human town! That's right! Priscilla, my servant, is currently preparing for our journey right now.
I woke up today because of a new sweet scent. Of course, I immediately got up to find where the perfume was spilled. Just kidding!
As a curious cat and a perfume lover, I followed the scent. I went out of the bedroom, walked pass the living room, walked pass the kitchen, and arrived at a closed room.
Why is this room the only room that has a door while the others only have curtains?
The answer was obvious. Because my servant is a witch. There has to be a room where she brews potions.
I have known that this witch is different. I did not have the thought of a scene where a series of lightings strike while an ugly witch is brewing poison, laughing maniacally.
That's right, I judged the personality, and not because she is beautiful and sweet-smelling. Of course not.
I meowed and my servant opened the door for me. She explained the situation to me as if she was talking to a human. I may have a human memory but technically, I'm a cat right now. Not that I mind because I also talked to cats back when I was a human. She told me she was making familiar potions: those witches use when making a monster, beast, or animal their familiar.
Familiars are those magicians can summon and use to defeat an enemy or acquire help when needed.
Back to the current situation.
Priscilla has now prepared her basket full of those bottled potions. What's the color of the potion, you ask? Of course it's pink, Priscilla's magic power is pink. I saw it. A pink glitter and dust. With enough common sense, although it certainly is beyond human comprehension, one can deduce that the magical trick is indeed magic.
We finally got to walk, yes walk. This witch was even surprised when I started following her like I knew everything that was happening. Of course I knew, idiot servant.
I call Priscilla my servant simply because she's been taking care of me and giving me food. She's too pretty to be my servant but I guess it's the cat pride that's talking.
I had found out that my house is in the middle of a forest. And since we are in the middle of the forest, we need to walk through the woods to get into the town.
What's our house looks like? It's basically a tree house, the house structure circulates around a huge trunk that's why it's spacious enough for a person to live on. There is a five-step staircase so the house is elevated.
We walked through the dense forest where only enough amount of sunshine can seep through. Along the way, Priscilla was gathering leaves and fruits. The plants are unfamiliar to me so I watched her closely and tried to memorize as the plants she was gathering and avoiding as much as I could.
While we were walking, I sensed danger. I stopped and warned my servant but the only sound I made were continuous loud meows. I felt frustrated that I could not express what I wanted to express clearly.
"What is it? Are you hungry again?" This witch! Is she an idiot for not understanding me. And so I hissed.
I used my skill [Terror LV1]. Even if it's low-level, she understood the situation. She was surprised but immediately positioned herself, aware of the danger.
From the tall grass, a huge mouse appeared. Dark fur, red eyes and very long tail, about 50% bigger than me.
WAH! I'm so afraid of mice!
I sensed my servant's fear.
I wonder if she's capable of fighting.
Since she's my master and she's able to look at my status, is it also possible to look at hers?

WOAH! My status rose when the mouse was weakened and my Terror is now level 2. Before the mouse could even recover, I hurriedly jumped on it and bit its neck with my fangs.
The taste? It's disgusting when I think of it but it surprisingly tastes good! Now I know why cats love to prey on mice. I bit and bit and chew and chew and then the mouse fell dead.
Victory is mine! Did you see that, weak woman?
"My, you became filthy." Priscilla covered her mouth with her fingers.
Huh? What an idiot witch, I just saved you, you know? But really, I must be really dirty.
"And your status rose, too."

After my servant cleaned me up, we resumed our journey towards the town with no trouble.
After a long while, we got out of the forest and arrived to the town.
