First Encounter

The moment he fully accepted his new name that turned into a true name, he suddenly underwent a quick microsecond transformation which resulted in him regressing into that of a child around the age of 8 years old.

This abrupt change also affected his mindset a bit, which in turn made him more childlike in manner fitting his current state and looks.

Unexpectedly, Kanzen didn't dislike the transformation.

"I'm literally a 0-day-old.

So, turning into a child around the age of 8 to 10 doesn't really matter.

This is more like a blessing to me.

At least this way my age and looks don't contradict that much."

He reasoned.

After getting familiarizing himself with his new body and sudden newfound increase in power, he noticed two things.

One was an instinctive subconscious feeling inside him, it was an infinite space within him, and the other was four glowing identical cubes inscribed with mystical runes.

Kanzen raised his hand, his thoughts and will focus on this infinite space hidden deeply within him.

A second later a small crack in the space reflecting a infinite void just a meter before his hand.

Scrutinizing the crack in space, Kanzen couldn't help but be astonished.

He has this subconscious feeling that he can spread or enlarge the crack in the space by his will.

And as this thought came to his mind the crack in the space did enlarge to the size of a ten-story building.

[That is your inventory space, it's an infinite space where you can store an infinite number of things, inside this space, time don't exist; meaning time don't flow, it will remain stagnant for all eternity.]

Every time his big sis Tina's said something, his astonishment, and amazement just continues to grow and grow.

"Do this infinite space/inventory have any limitations of sort?"

He asked, trying to learn more about this so-called infinite inventory within him.

[You cannot put any living objects or organisms inside the inventory, you also can't use it for combat purposes, for now…]

"For now! Does that mean I can use it for combat later on."

[You can use it for combat if you are able to comprehend the natural law of space and time, and reach a sufficient level, but such a thing might take a very long time.]

She explained.

*Rustle*

Just as Tina was done explaining things about his inventory, he heard a suspicious rustling sound coming from the tick and tall grasses twenty-seven meters in distance to his right

"It seems that I am not alone."

He muttered.

[You're technically not alone, I am here.]

"I mean physically."

[That's more like it.]

The rustling continues until moments later a one-meter child-like ugly green humanoid creature emerges.

--- Goblin…!

Kanzen thought after seeing the ugly creature's distinct familiar features similar to the anime's and manga's he watched and read.

[Do you need a weapon? You can purchase one in the infinite shop.]

"You have such a function?"

[I'm about to explain my other functions when that fella suddenly disturb us.]

"I will purchase one later, for now, let me see how I can be compared to a mere goblin."

[Oh ho, you seem confident.]

"I sense no danger from the ugly fella, it felt like I am in front of a tiny ant that I can crush if I wanted to."

He replied.

[No wonder. You're a legend back in your reality, a mere goblin is nothing in front of you, not to say a level 0 at that.]

"Level 0?"

[I will explain it later, you do what you need to do.]

"Ok."

Kanzen nodded, his gaze meets the gaze of the emaciated ugly goblin, its eyes were blood-red, he could recognize the ferociousness clear to see within.

The monster reminder him of his days during the early days of apocalypse on the earth when his friends, family, everyone that couldn't withstand the energy within them turned into zombie like creatures.

The goblin wore a rugged and tattered full of holes piece of cloth covering only it's waist, and on it's right hand is a rusty dagger that look like it is about to break at any moment.

For a second after it emerged from the bush and saw Kanzen it paused on its tracks, confusion apparent in its eyes, before it was quickly replaced by a hungry look as its bloodlust was released.

[Oh ho, it seems like this fella thought you're an easy prey.]

"I was planning to give it a quick and painless death, but it appears to me that it wants to play with me.

I'm not so rude to dismiss anyone desiring to get close to me, so why not."

He said, Tina could feel the temperature around Kanzen dropping considerably.

She couldn't help but felt pity for the pitiful goblin trying to touch the tail of a terrifying monster in the guise of a child.

The goblin dashed forward, aiming the rusty dagger straight to his stomach.

"What a clown."

He muttered silently, his eyes turning cold, he took a simple one step to his right followed by a quick back step, easily dodging the goblin's lunge attack.

Not expecting to miss its target the goblin staggered for a moment due to the momentum, it tried to regain its balance, but before it could do, a tiny hand appeared before its face.

The tiny hand firmly grabbed its face, and for some reason which bewildered the goblin, the so small hand couldn't be shaken off.

Its head was then pushed down, it's back falling, and before the goblin could react, its head was firmly smashed on the ground.

Boom!

A couple of its ribs and bones, crack and broke from the impact of the smash, a miniscule amount of blood gushing out from its mouth.

He had to limit his strength not to instantly kill the ugly monster.

"Can you analyze its parameters, big sis Tina?"

[It's speed is around B – grade level 0, and strength D – grade level 0, I don't know about its other stats, but I am confident that this fella doesn't possess any stat above B grade in level 0.]

"This difference is too wide apart."

[Duh, you possess S grade in every stat's due to the extra '1000' permanent stat boost in your every parameter.

The difference is obvious to anyone to see.]

Tina said, her tone was a bit condescending.

[So what do you plan to do with this fella?]

For some reason, she quickly changed the topic.

"Just wait and see."

The beautiful sunset descended on the horizon, replaced by three breathtakingly gorgeous moons, one blue, one purple and one green.

Moonlight illuminated the land, the forest wasn't silent as nocturnal creatures began to roam around the place to hunt for food.

Loud roars, shrike of pain, and squeals for plead echoed throughout the forest.

But amidst such bone chilling sounds echoing throughout the land a single non-nocturnal creature joined the hunt.

Hanging upside down in a tree, its foot tied by a vine to a branch, is a goblin whose wrist drips of blood.

[How cruel of you little Kanzen.]

"You of all people should have a better understanding of me."

[Right, right, I am just joking, so don't be mad.]

"An eye for an eye, kindness repaid with kindness, cruelty with cruelty."

He muttered silently, his mesmerizing voice was a bit hoarse and eerie, chilling the atmosphere.
