Jane cried for a while and finally calmed down but she did not stand from her spot and sat there for a while until she heard a knock.

"You stopped crying a while ago." Maxwell's voice came from the other side of the door. "Don't you think it's time to come out?"

Though surprised, she stayed silent.

"Hm? Did you fall asleep?" he asked, wondering because of the silence.

"What do you want?" She asked in a little cracked voice. Screaming and crying so much must've hurt her voice.

"Nothing much but I'm running an errand right now. I would very much like to complete it and get back to my wife." he said politely and once again, she fell silent.

For some reason, Maxwell wasn't mad like he would be in a normal case. He hated anything that made him stay away from. Paige even for a second but with Jane, he wanted to watch more.

She was… how would he put it?... Amusing.
