400 Years After I Was Summoned, My Childhood Friend Got Summoned Too

More than 400 years has passed since Alex Brandt was summoned in another world and became the Hero. He fought Against the Demon King and his mighty armies and defeated them after a long and arduous journey. Shortly after he saved the world Alex retired from his heroic duties and started a family. Life seemed to be smooth sailing for him then but life isn't always sunshine and rainbows. A civil war broke out in the Kingdom he and his family were living in and his family were among the many victims that perished during the civil war... Struck with extreme sorrow, grief and anger, the Hero singlehandedly ended the war only to suddenly disappear shortly after. Now after centuries passed it seems that the string of fate still seems to play with him for one night while overlooking the forest, he caught sight of a large pillar of light. The pillar of light he recognized as the one from his Hero summoning, and what he finds there was his childhood friend among many others. Hi everyone! This is my first ever novel and so you all may find a few (A LOT) of mistakes in my novel from the grammar and so on, so feel free to point them out and tell me about them... be gentle about this though cuz I'll cry! English is not my first language that much is obvious but I think I'm good enough at it that you guys can read it without your brain cells dying every paragraph. There is no update schedule for this novel btw cuz I'm only doing this in my free times and I'm always busy being a freshman in college. No chapter Schedule!!!

Hands-Off (Student-Teacher)

In the gym, amidst the hustle and bustle of school life, Leilani stands out like a delicate flower in a field of thorns. Fragile and vulnerable, she navigates the complexities of campus existence, her every step overshadowed by the taunts and jabs of her classmates. Like predators circling their prey, they test her weaknesses, plucking at her pink petals one by one until she feels stripped bare, exposed to the harsh realities of their cruelty. Yet, just as every flower endures the harshness of winter, Leilani's spirit proves resilient. With each adversity she faces, her petals grow back, stronger and more vibrant than before, until she blossoms into a force to be reckoned with. But amidst the chaos of her turbulent journey, there is one who sees her beauty where others see only flaws. Chad, with his kind eyes and gentle demeanor, offers her a glimmer of hope in a world shrouded in darkness. Sometimes, in life, love finds you when you least expect it, weaving its way into the fabric of your existence with a quiet persistence. Yet, despite Chad's unwavering affection, Leilani struggles to accept the love he offers. How can she love somebody else when she doesn't love herself? It's a question that haunts her every waking moment, a weight she carries upon her fragile shoulders. But love knows no boundaries, no names, and no occupations. It is the force that draws people from their darkest moments, guiding them towards the light of redemption and healing. And so, Leilani's journey unfolds, a winding road fraught with obstacles and challenges, but filled with the promise of love's transformative power. She may be as beautiful as a flower, but beneath her delicate exterior lies a heart of stone. Words may hurt, and wounds may run deep, but they cannot penetrate the fortress she has built around her. For in the end, it is love that will break down the walls she has erected, revealing the true beauty that lies within.

70 Days Of Service

Citizens of a densely populated city found themselves stuck in a game of Death, when, on a particularly sunny Day, they all found themselves in the middle of the city; where there was a magnificent looking structure; that wasn't there before; waiting for them. Upon arrival at the foot of the massive structure, an automated female voice greeted the mass of strangers still struggling to understand what was going on. The announcement of the female voice soon marked the beginning of terror for the unsuspecting strangers, as they were pitched against horrible, life threatening and emotionally traumatic games......for a total of 70 days!!!. [WELCOME TO 70 DAYS OF SERVICE]. *************** "You are always on that Goddamn computer. Maybe if you stand up and start working, things would be a little easier for us!", a nagging voice with a hint of exasperation sounded off from the doorside, as a youth in front of a computer, with a headset on sighed and removed the headset. "Quit nagging mum. I've been to all the job offers you got me; they all require the same thing". "Well, maybe if you have been more attentive at school, instead of following those boys, you might have made your papers!", Mrs May yelled again, as she glared at her son. "It's this carefree attitude of yours that got your brother in jail!", she continued. "Maybe if you also hadn't insisted on divorcing Dad, you would have raised me better!", Benjamin snapped, finally tired of his mum's constant aggressiveness. Stunned, Mrs May could only place her palm over her mouth, as she watched her son. Sighing again, Ben got up as he snatched his hoodie from the bed and murmured; "I'm going for a walk". Outside the May family house, Ben dipped his hands into his hoodie pocket as he kept his head down and walked down the street. It had been a very tough year for the family, as first, he got into trouble with the police, which his elder brother, Cameron took the fall for and went to prison, and his mum divorced his Dad, something he had always dreaded. Although he knew it has been hard especially on his mum, he just couldn't take her nagging any longer. Sighing, he arrived at the park as he laid on the soft grass, watching the clouds and enjoying the feel of the sun against his cheeks. ******* "Gasp, what's that?!"; "What the hell am I doing here??"; "How did I get here"...... Murmurs like this drifted into Ben's ear as he furrowed his brow, he was trying to enjoy the quiet time, what were people yapping on about??. He was about to turn to the other side when he noticed the once soft grass he laid on, was now hard as rock. Opening his eyes, he was shocked as he saw multitudes of people....as far as his eyes could reach!. Looking around, he was surprised to find himself on the asphalt; with people near him giving him weird looks. "What, wasn't I in the park??", Ben thought as he stood up and dusted himself. He knew he was in the park, how did he get on the asphalt, or was someone playing a silly prank on him??. Noticing that people had stopped murmuring and were fixated on something further ahead, he also stretched his neck as he wondered what the cause of the silence was. Gasping, Ben took a few steps back, almost bumping into people behind him as he took in the image his eyes transmitted to him; there was a very large building, shaped like a rough oval, with branches looking like tentacles spreading out from it. He could have sworn that building was not there before!.
