"Cyra!!" The young man yelled jumping into the air. Noah could see little swirl of dirt around his body which was solidifying around his body.

" Bijan, Wait!" He also heard the old man yelled out which seemed to be the name of the young man but it was too late. He was already halfway up the wall closing in fast in Noah's direction.

He fired few rounds but it got bounced off around the synthetic rock armor around his body. Noah don't want to barrage him with bullets recklessly, he could see them bouncing in different direction which could hit the people on the wall if he was not careful.

" Motherfucker! I will kill you!" Bijan roared putting his fist forward aiming straight for his head. All Noah saw was his red eyes burning with fury before he barely braced himself for impact. Putting both his arms forward, he took the impact head on.

" Fucking hell!" He could feel the pain of his arms being fractured. It was uncomparable to what he felt facing the Henwen at the cave but still it made him take several step backward without falling down.

Alastair tried to help, it felt like a opponent that he was best suited for. Noah still didn't know what the old man was capable off but he told him to stay back because it was his fight.

" Come on!" Noah pulled up his rifle and taunted his enemy. Bijan was surprised to see him still standing but that's what he expected from someone that was able to take down Cyra. He started swinging his arms and legs whose pattern were similar to Noah's earlier opponent.

After dodging few attack, he saw what appeared to be chink in the young man's armour. Maybe because this Bijan sounded young, he still wasn't able to manipulated the ground that finely leaving some room for the ridiculous flexibility he was showing.

The area around his forearm, armpit and all the major joints on his body were showing some of the dark robe that he was wearing. It was a common weakness in most of the medieval armours on earth and it appeared to be the same case here.

After Noah dodged another blow to his head, he pointed his rifle muzzle upward and fired one shot. He felt like his senses of handling the weapon had gone up several level. From the eyes of people that were watching from the sidelines it looked like they were phasing in and out with young man punches even smashing the air to make their whole surrounding vibrate.

* Swoosh * * Swoosh* * Swoosh*

* Bang!*

Everyone heard the gunshot again and unlike earlier this time, the young man stopped his attack. They were able to see his mangled arm barely hanging down, connected only by exposed bones and few muscles while bleeding profusely.

" Uggghhhh..." He didn't scream just grunted controlling his pain. Noah could still see the defiant look on his face and knew he wouldn't surrender so he quickly aimed his rifle and targeted his other joint, one in his left leg and another for the right arm just to be safe. Bijan tried to run but Noah was too quick with it.

*thud* He fell down losing consciousness. Whether both of them survives or not depended on how quickly they got the treatment.

Noah was already sweating bullets, the pain was slowly creeping in his body as his initial adrenalin began to wear off. Both his hands were numb, he looked down to see several cuts over his shoulder and chest area probably from facing his first opponent. He thought he blocked everything but it seemed her powers were not as simple as he imagined.

He walked toward the edge of the wall and saw that old man looking straight toward him. This time he didn't wait like before fired few bullets in his direction. He didn't want to take any chances. Being the leader of these young sorcerers, it was given that he would be the strongest among them. Coupled with the fact that he was notorious and feared by even village people, which was a testament to his strength.

*Bang* *Bang* *Bang* He fired three shots in succession not aiming at his vitals just to test the waters. He was sure that at least one of them would pass through the old man's flame barrier, wasn't it just fire? How hard it be to penetrate a flame wall?

But his eyes almost came out of his socket when he saw what happened to the bullet. It was hard to imagine anyone move faster than a bullet but the old man was on par with it.

He flicked his hand, he didn't have to guess the trajectory just bring the fire wall toward the way which he fired before they stopped dead in track.

*Sizzz* As soon as the melted bullet made contact with the ground they began burning the area around it. Samuel could feel the heat, not of the bullet but the from the flames that old man was utilizing. It was like his body a furnace, emitting orange hue that didn't seem to burn the clothes just the things around him.

" I knew it wasn't going to be that easy." Noah instead of being scared felt fired up facing someone at least higher than his level. He was raring to go when Mera stood infront of him and proclaimed in her ever so dominating voice, " Hey, Flamie! If you don't stop now. They will die and the only way to stop them from meeting their maker is me! So, I implore you to think one more time before doing anything!"

Both entered a staring contest but from the just looking at his eyes, Noah already knew what he was going to choose.
