8 Ch 8 : Appointment

I am a rich second generation in One Piece Ch 8

Almost a week later, Seth was finally going to leave Alabasta.

These past few weeks, he had spent almost every day thinking about what he should do.

And the result? He could say that it was pretty satisfying.

The business matters; after some research, Seth was able to find that the entertainment industry in One Piece, especially regarding books and movies, was still far behind his original world. It could easily be seen by the super high popularity of Noland the liar and the germa 66 in children's storybooks.

Because of that, he decided to make his move into the writing industry. He had spent almost two days writing and drawing more than fifty children's books, and after gaining his parents' approval, all that was left to do was to market them off.

The matter regarding making his own force also had gone through pretty significant progress. Using his parent's connection, he was able to make an appointment with some big forces.

Although most of them were still reliant on his parents' names or even influence, who could blame him for being a rich second generation?

However, the one that had gained the most improvement was not the business or the force, but rather was his development of devil fruit.

After a painstaking effort in the past few days, Seth was able to recognize the most basic ability of his paint-paint fruit.

And that is enhancement. By drawing a pattern on objects, he could add a permanent special property to the object. Of course, the level of drawing also matters in regard to the level of enhancement, but since Seth possessed the God-Level drawing skill, this problem didn't really matter to him.

In fact, it was because of this ability that he was able to create a meeting with the Marine. He had sold a huge batch of enhanced armor and weapon to the Marine using his father's connection, and now he was going to meet Vice Admiral Tsuru in person.

Getting on the board, Seth glanced at Alabasta one more time. There were still two years until the original Straw Hats reached this place, and in these two years, who knew what chaos would Crocodile turn this place into.

But without Seth knowing before he left, a figure was secretly looking at him with a complicated expression in her eyes.

Seth soon arrived on the Island where he would be meeting Vice Admiral Tsuru.

It was an island near Alabasta, but different from Alabasta, which has no big Marine base on it; this Island had almost half of it turned into a Marine base.

There were two reasons why the meeting was held here. First, it was pretty convenient to Seth since this place was near Alabasta, and the second was the transaction needed to be done in the Marine base as they needed to sort some procedures.

Upon getting off the dock, Seth saw a timid girl standing there. She was none other than Tashigi.

Yup, you didn't see it wrong. It was Tashigi, the one that should be with Smoker in the Logue Town base now.

After selling the huge amount of enhanced equipment to the Marine, Seth had made two requests to the Marine to continue their cooperation. And utilizing that fact, Seth was able to take two Marine members as his bodyguard.

There was some rejection at first, but after Seth said they were just some unimportant figures in the Marine, the Marine, led by Vice-admiral Tsuru eventually agreed.

Well, to make it simpler, the Marine had agreed to sell Tashigi and one other person to Seth.

Tashigi had also seen Seth. Vice Admiral Tsuru had explained everything to her, and she knew that she would soon be the entourage of this person. Of course, the Marine didn't directly tell her that she was sold, she was told that she would be going on a bodyguard mission, and even though her status was Seth's bodyguard, she would still be a marine in the heart.

Seeing his future employer, Tashigi wanted to call out to Seth, but she didn't dare to do it.

Seth smiled and waved.

"Aren't you Tashigi? It is good to see you!" Seth greeted with a smile.

Being greeted by Seth, who has the SSS+ Charm, Tashigi was a little bit lost. Obviously, the power of this SSS+ Charm was just too much for any woman.

" !!!!"

Hearing this notification, Seth was caught in a bit of shock. Just a gaze, and it was enough to gain a favorable impression? It seemed that upgrading his Charm to SSS+ was really worth it.

"Um! Nice to meet you too, Mr. Seth" Tashigi replied meekly, but her eyes had never left Seth at all.

In fact, she was glad that Seth didn't seem to be a bad guy. When she heard the news from Vice Admiral Tsuru, she thought she would be a bodyguard of some ugly fat rich man, but now getting such a handsome and friendly person as her employer, the mission didn't seem that bad anymore.

No one knows how restless she was last night. As soon as she closed her eyes last night, the image of a fat ugly rich man would appear before her eyes. She spent the entire night thinking about how could she refuse this mission.

" Well, no need to be that formal with me. After all, we will be on the same side after this. Just call me Seth!"

" Then, nice to meet you Seth…" Tashigi replied, but a blush was starting to appear on her face.

Seth saw this and an evil idea appeared in his mind. He stroked her head, "I'm sorry, I can't help it. You are just way too cute."
