Marriage isn't out of the Options

"Urgh..." Ein shuffled as he woke up.

The first thing he saw after opening his eyes was the canopy of the bed he was lying on. Around it, semi-transparent curtains were hung on top, hiding his figure from view outside.

He let his gaze sweep around, only to stop at the shadow of a figure sitting beside the bed. Since the curtain wasn't transparent enough to see through it, Ein squinted his eyes as he tried to identify the figure.

"Ah, you're awake," the figure muttered as she put down something that she was holding. "Please wait; I'll immediately call for someone," she added.

Ein saw her stand up, revealing the shadow of a long and fluffy tail. He almost instinctively jumped up from bed and pounced on the tail, but his body wasn't responding to his commands. He felt like his whole body was paralyzed, unable to move an inch.

"What the... just what happened to me...?" Ein genuinely wondered.
