Charlotte soon returned with refreshment and passed it to Lilith, Ein, and Aurora, while keeping some for herself too. After she finished distributing the tea and snacks, she sat down and basked in silence.

The entire private room was silent for an excruciatingly long period of time. Ein and Lilith stayed quiet the entire time while Aurora fidgeted uncomfortably. The Dragonkin girls seemed to be communicating with each other through telepathy at the back, seemingly having a fun exchange. Among everyone in the room, only Charlotte felt out of place.

"King Ein." Unable to linger in the awkward silence any longer, Charlotte raised her voice. "Earlier, you were talking about invasion, but... You weren't thinking of annexing the other countries too, were you?"

Ein was about to answer, but Lilith butted in before he could.

"You're Charlotte, correct?"
