37 An Unfamiliar Place

As the gates of the second wall opened, the view inside made everyone's eyes pop out of their sockets. Compared to the rural scenery behind them, the one in front of them couldn't be explained as just "advanced".

The path was made of concrete instead of a makeshift pebbled road. Concrete buildings boasting three floors or higher were lining up both sides of the streets like they were common. Lampposts line up the side roads, providing light during the night. What's more, there were moving carriages that were not pulled by horses, but powered by a rudimentary engine, belching large amounts of smoke as it went.

Down at the end of the straight concrete road, a majestic and pure white castle exerts its unequivocal dominance. No matter where they started scanning the view, it will surely end with them staring at the large castle.

"What are you waiting for? This way, please." Lilith urged everyone with a smile. She was obviously enjoying the expressions of everyone.
