Chapter 8

Eragon POV

Well it didn't take long as Tanya decided to come with us both of them knew with my abilities the chances of succeeding was huge while I was thinking about the werewolves or Children of the Moon I didn't see anything about them in the movies but there was slight info about how Voulturi eradicated all of them to the point of extinction.

I was going with Tanya and Kate to meet the Irish coven consisted of only 3 people. We were supposed to meet them next to Mara's nature reserve which although now because of the humans going missing in the forest people other than hunters rarely come into the forests.I was next to kate looking at the forest and thought "This place is the best place for werewolves since they have the same food source as vampires instead of drinking the blood of humans vampires feast on the flesh of humans. Werewolves, unlike shape-shifters, have the strength and power to kill a vampire single-handedly. Their strength coupled with their inability to control the shift into their wolf forms makes them extremely dangerous and resulted in many vampires fearing them."

I soon saw the Irish coven it's leader Siobhan is 6'2" tall, with a body that moves in smooth undulations she has a muscular figure and has bronze colored hair next to her was her mate Liam is a man in his mid-30s, with a hard-face, lean body with an imposing countenance, and is 6'5" tall, and with dark brown hair and last was Maggie who is very thin, standing 5'2", with bouncy brown curls, and not as physically imposing as Siobhan or Liam.

I saw Tanya go forward and greet them while I thought "Siobhan is said to have the ability [Outcome Manipulation] which is very interesting and Maggie has the ability [Lie Detection]."

I saw Siobhan turn and look at me and kate and questioned, "Who is he."Tanya answered, "That is Eragon he is Kate's mate and he is here to help you."Tanya knew Maggie's ability so she didn't tell any lies also didn't give any more info as Siobhan gave nod and explained "As I told Eleazar we started to live here a month ago this place has a small number of humans visiting the forest this place was ideal for us to settle down. But we came into contact with 2 werewolves we three were lucky enough to escape them without getting killed."

Liam cut in and said, "It is because of ger powers we escaped."Siobhan normally didn't believe she had such an ability until she came in contact with werewolves her mate Liam had planned to act as bait so that rest of us can survive at that time she had mentally wished to escape them without losing any of her coven members and it really happened. Siobhan knew the probability of escaping 2 werewolves was really low but they still escaped unharmed which made her believe she really had powers.

Siobhan spoke, "We came across them in the forest last full moon there was two of them and I am sure they were not here before we settled here.There scent was what caused us to investigate"Kate questioned, "Have you been able to track their scent and find who they are in their human forms."

Liam was the one who answered, "That is the hard part were unable to find them it was as if they disappeared into thin air."This surprised Tanya and kate as I spoke"Well it is not a surprise they must have learned to mask their scents after all being hunted by voulturi to extinction must have made them desperate to find ways to hide themselves."

Tany and Kate gave nod while Siobhan who heaitant said "I have doubt about these werewolves."Tanya,Kate and I looked at Siobhan and she continued "Well I had few friends who have been in voulturi during their time when they went to war with the children of the moon.I found that these two werewolves seem to have seem to be slightly coucnsious of their actions it was like both of them were fully able to understand what we were and after finding out they couldn't catch us these two gave up the whole chase."

Tanya who stunned "I know werewolf behaviour since I heard it from my mother they are feral with no rational thought they would not stop or give up like that even if they are surrounded or close to death."

Kate muttered "These werewolves are able to understand what is happening around them and even control their actions this has got more dangerous."

All of us were thinking about how we should go about this as Kate said"We have to tackle them in their wolf forms since these two werewolves won't show up in their human form because their scent will give them away so they will attack us during full moon."

Tanya looked at Kate said "You know werewolves are stronger than werewolves we can't fight them in the forest.It's basically their territory."

I spoke my thoughts "So we draw them into the open."

Tanya nodded she was worried they didn't exactly have many options.The Irish coven was ready to fight although they were relucuant to let their youngest Maggie fight.

We stayed at Irish covens home as we needed to wait till the next full moon which 2 days from now.Kate spoke as she cuddled with me "I am finding it hard to believe we will be fighting Children of the moon soon."

I gave a nod replied "I can understand that after all they were hunted to extinction.The fact that 2 of them with the ability to control their forms during full moon are running around without fear."

Kate nodded them smirked and slowly slid her hands down my pants and grabbed my rod and whispered "Well we have a lot of time to waist so we might as well do something pleasurable."

I smirked hearing that the next we knew was our clothes torn apart as we made our way to the bed. Which then led to hours of sex as their Kate's moans echoed in room.
