1 Life 1: Time To Train

Within Diablo Desert:

"Huh, What"

"Eh!"

When I woke up I saw a vast land of sand in front of me, and it seemed that I'd been on the ground for a while.

But something was strange because I saw these tall things in the sand that were like bones or something.

They were propped up, and this reminded me of something, it reminded me of.

"... Dragon Ball?"

But to know if I'd actually been ROB'd I quickly checked my attire and found that I had green and orange clothes on with some kanji on my chest saying.

"Comfort."

I remember this being in early Dragon Ball and "Yamcha- What, I'm Yamcha- F*ck yes!"

Did I mention he was my favourite character in Dragon Ball.

Yet, as usual, he was sidelined, it pissed me off on how Akira Toriyama made him cannon fodder, and he even got his girl stolen, detestable I thought.

It annoyed me, even more, to see some aliens become the strongest beings in the universe.

Couldn't humans also increase their power and stay relevant.

Though I'm annoyed that aliens have really cool powers and traits.

I couldn't deny that Goku was also my favourite character but Vegeta- Well he can go take a hike.

I've never ever liked him he p*ssed me off for some unknown reason- maybe it was because of his receding hairline- I didn't know.

Anyway back to me, I quickly pulled out a small mirror from my pocket to confirm I wasn't being pranked or hallucinating, and I saw wild long spiky hair, with a handsome face free of any unsightly scars.

It seems I truly had been reincarnated as Yamcha-...

"Yamcha, What are you doing aren't you going to get up already, you've been on the ground for thirty minutes already!"

Hearing this voice I turned around and saw a blue flying cat hovering around my back, it seems it was Puar.

"Aw, sorry for that Puar- it's just I seem to be in a daze of some sort, I'm gonna rest for a bit alright!"

'It seems like this is them Isekai stories where the main character dies and is reborn/reincarnated/transmigrated into a new world, it seems something similar happened like that.

But normally when that happens the protagonist being me gets some kind of Cheat that allows him to steamroll his opponents.'

After talking in my head like 'System, Link Start, Inventory, Stats' nothing popped up suggesting that through hard work and training would I actually increase my strength.

Suddenly I spotted Oolong, and he said:

"Huh, what's up, Yamcha- things got pretty intense yesterday What with Goku becoming a monkey-like monster!"

Hearing this "Monkey-Like Monster" kept echoing in my head, this meant that the Dragon Balls had already been found-collected-summoned.

And from what I could infer after seeing Oolong with some panties on his head and hearing that Goku became an Oozaru suggesting the Pilaf gang had already left long ago.

It seems that while I was in a daze mine and my predecessor's memories had merged together replacing him I became the new and improved Yamcha.

"Helloo- Earth to Yamcha, are you okay!"

Shouted the overgrown pig, I merely gave him a glare, and raised my middle finger to him before turning around.

And behind me was Bulma wearing some genie type clothes, it seems she was still asleep.

So I didn't wake her up, but damn was she cute- especially in real life, she looked really beautiful, causing some blushes to appear on my face.

Turning my head down I saw a naked child with a blanket over him sleeping as his crab-like hair moved with the wind, but damn he was also cute, but Bulma was definitely the most beautiful girl I've ever seen in my life.

And I remembered at this point in the story me and Bulma became a couple- what should I do.

Seeing me act like a goof in front of Bulma, Oolong just stared at me as if I was an idiot.

'I remember in the history of trunks it was said that she dumped me because I was unfaithful to her or something-

But this time I'll dedicate my time to keeping her happy- Yep I'll train really hard!'

And as I was thinking of this while my arms flailed about, Bulma had woken up,

She had woken up as Oolong was arguing with Goku.

Hearing this I thought 'damn Oolong's real perceptive to even say that.'

Hearing this he became enraged saying, "oh please as if you can talk you little pipsqueak!"

And seeing all this was amazing as all the interactions and dialogue was real the quality of the anime- I mean real-life Dragon Ball was amazing.

After Goku tried to stand up he had fallen back to the ground.

I remembered he lost his tail and due to that, he couldn't maintain his posture-

But something weird happened- well not really like all of a sudden through his borrowed trousers his furry tail grew back.

And with this, he regained his balance. Seeing this Oolong said.

"Well, it's confirmed your no human..."

Seeing that his tail was back and his posture and power increased he asked.

"Yamcha so where's my Nyoibo? And I feel that with my tail my strengths increased than without it!"

"Your Nyoibo's probably buried in the deep remains of sand!"

After this Bulma had come to my side and clung onto my arm.

My heart skipped a beat with this little interaction as I scratched the back of my head in shyness.

Goku had returned finding his mystical Bo-Staff.

And Bulma asked him.

"Goku we're going to the city, wanna come with us?

Considering your cute and all the girls are going to go crazy for you- what'd you say?"

Goku Hearing this smiles before saying.

"Nah, I'll see you later in Westu Siti but for now I'm gonna train with the good ole' turtle hermit.

I'm gonna keep training and getting even stronger! believe it that's my Martial way"

"Oh, I See well then are you coming along as well Oolong?"

Hearing that we were headed to the west city couldn't wait to see what it looked like-

I imagine flying cars and hi-tech things to be commonplace.

"Oh I know I'll see you next year and we'll collect the Dragon Balls again then to get your wish Bulma!"

Said Goku as if thinking too hard but finding the correct answer.

Hearing this Bulma began laughing and clenched my arms even tighter as she pressed her chest upon my arms.

"Mufufufufuhh, we don't need the Dragon Balls anymore Goku, -Riii~~~Ghtt!"

She said the 'Right' with emphasis as she looked at me with a love-stricken gaze.

After that, I took out a Hoipoi capsule and tada a flying sports car appeared, 'I've always wanted to do that- man this world is amazing!'

"Bye Bye Son Goku- my eternal rival, you better not slack off in training or else your youth won't shine through-

Don't worry I'll meet you again in the Tenkaichi Budokai!"

"Tenka- What you on about Yamcha!"

"We'll meet up again sometime Goku!"

After that, I opened up the door about to go in until-

On the ground, laying was a dead cannon fodder who was too overconfident and died due to being too self-confident.

thinking he could handle self-destruction of a little green gremlin- Yes this was the Saiyan saga in which Yamcha died tragically.

It was because he sensed Krillin in danger and to avoid that he jumped in the way of it killing himself in the process becoming a martyr for his best friend.

"Yamcha are you... okay do you need some medicine?"

"No it's alright Bulma I'm fine- I'm fine dear"

Without turning back I said to Bulma.

"I'm sorry but I won't going to West City Bulma!"

Soon I turned around and grabbed her shoulders before saying.

"But please wait for me Bulma- I will become stronger and protect you- I'll come back for you!"

"What do you mean- I can't wait all the time and I'll become bored to combat that I'll just join you in this training how about it, Darling"

'What happened Bulma's took another route this doesn't make sense.'

And Goku can I go with your Kintoun and bye Oolong, Puar make sure you don't do anything dumb!"

Hearing this they went off waving at us and I grabbed onto Goku's back before he zoomed us away.

Honestly, it was good yet bad as Bulma had her body mounted on my back.

But my body was almost falling down into the seas because of the air pressure.
