31 31. Electricity Cut

After the meal, Anna sent a message to tell Lucy to cook more food during this time and then went to her kitchen and carried the stack of rice and flour to Dylan's place. She also gave him a lot of vegetables, eggs, and many other from her space.

Looking at the stack of food, Dylan was silent and looked at Anna with a complicated gaze.

But he didn't ask and only nodded. "Ok, I'll be busy cooking for the time being."

"You can take half of the materials for yourself. Do you think it's fair?" Anna asked back.

"Are you sure?"

"Uh, why not?" Anna blinked her eyes. If not for Dylan, she couldn't even cook these foods at all.

"Alright then." Dylan finally nod.

"Thank you."

After dinner, Anna continued to pour water into her space while replacing these power banks. She stocked all of them in her space. Anyway, the time in her space is still and these power banks will always be full.

When it was midnight, Anna went to the bed.

The next day, it was the repeated routine.

Pouring the drinking water into her space all day long, Anna felt that her eyes were tired. But seeing the expanding water in her space, it still gave her a sense of satisfaction.

Dylan was busy cooking all day along with Lucy on the floor above theirs. It seemed that they were also busy searching for all kind of items that could be used to hold water. It was surprising what Lucy has been keeping for so many years and after washing, they could be used.

This day is very calm.

Except for the people on the third floor has already moved to the 802. By now, there were already five families who were living there because one of the family had a relatives and staying in another floor.

The others didn't have anyone they knew and could only stay here.

The people from the first floor originally went to the fourth floor but they had already moved to 802 when they saw the water was still rising steadily.

It looked quite troubling.

Jake and the others also looked troubled. But at the very least, they didn't come to trouble Anna and the others yet.

Probably soon.

And the next day, when Anna had just put the new power banks, the light suddenly went off. Her eyelids twitched as she looked at her power banks.

Well, not a single one of them was charging now.

Anna sighed and could only move to the kitchen and started her routine water collecting activity. Thankfully, it was still working.

She took out her phone and checked the chat group between the four of them.

After that, Anna put down several solar panel on the other corner of the living room. Looking around, Anna thought for a moment before taking out a refrigerator near the kitchen door.

She could just say that this was the backup refrigerator that she has but didn't use.

Looking around the room once more, Anna thought hard to herself before taking out a lot of snacks on the table and then covered it with a cloth.

She walked to the side near the door and put the two small generator. It was not too noisy but it will be able to support the consumption of two refrigerators.

Once it was done, Anna took a step back and looked around her, wondering what else was missing.
