31 31. Breakfast
"Oh you finally came"(Stephen)
Entering the dining hall Lucifer was greeted by Stephen whose face was full of smiles and to his surprise, Emma was also present at the table looking at him with a smile.
"Good Morning Patr- Grandfather, Good morning Aunt"(Lucifer)
"Good Morning Lucifer, Take your seat"(Stephen)
Lucifer sat down and took his seat while the servants began to serve his food.
"How are you feeling now?"(Stephen)
"I feel better now, a lighter I guess would be better to describe it"(Lucifer)
"It's expected"(Stephen)
"Grandfather that-"(Lucifer)
"I know you have a lot of questions in your mind but let's have breakfast first, I will answer all of your questions"(Stephen)
Lucifer wanted to ask something but was cut off by Stephen and all three of them began to enjoy the feast.
Lucifer and the previous one had completely fused and hence Lucifer doesn't need to worry about behaving strange or anything as he passively gained all of the previous one's habits.

The food Lucifer ate was undoubtedly the best food he had ever eaten in his life if not accounting the memories of the previous one, but then also it felt like torture for him.
If the dishes Lucifer ate were presented to the people of his previous world it would be considered the best cooked food ever, but they tasted bland as they enter Lucifer's mouth.
Lucifer raised his head and looked at the culprit for his situation and saw Stephen and Emma delightfully savoring their food.
'Mana Food'
Using the beast's meat and herbs which are brimmed with mana, the mana food is made.
A mana food that is cooked by the mana chefs who are specially trained to cook with the ingredients like beast meat by infusing their mana.
Mana food can only be eaten by an awakener and can help them get to increase their strength but not many could avail themselves of this luxury of eating mana food as it costs a fortune and not many mana chefs are present on the planet due to the limited knowledge which is held in the hands of the privileged class.
For a person who isn't awakened mana is equivalent to poison to them as coming in contact with mana would slowly erode their body and can lead to their death.
Any skill, element, or magic which involves mana is harmful to non awakened with the only exception of the holy element which can miraculously work on non Awakeners without causing any harm to them in any sort of way.
Lucifer looked at the two people in front of him, especially at their plates which were filled with food that emitted some strange glow and a heavenly fragrance that caused him to salivate.
If not for his high mind stability skill Lucifer would have pounced on it but he controlled it.
*giggle*
"I know this mana food is delicious but you don't need to stare at it this much"(Emma)
"Sorry, it's just.."(Lucifer)
Lucifer felt a little embarrassed for behaving like this.
"Torturous? I know I and Ares also made the same expression when we haven't awakened and watched father eating mana food"(Emma)
"Haha I remembered when you awakened I called the best mana chefs to our manor and you both kept ordering the food without stopping"(Stephen)
"Haha I still remembered the faces of the chef at the end of the day and later that day you both just spent your entire first week as an awakener inside the bathroom"(Stephen)
"DAD!!"(Emma)
All three of them laugh together, Lucifer felt a strange warmth in his heart as all three of them talk like this.
He was an orphan in his previous world and in this world he never experienced this familial love.
Looking at Stephen and Emma a strange feeling rose in his heart.
An unfamiliar feeling that he had never experienced before.
But he certainly likes this feeling.

The breakfast ended and the first thing Stephen and Emma did was apologize to Lucifer.
They explain to him how they wanted Ares and Elizabeth to realize their own mistake by themselves but those two utterly disappointed them.
They kept apologizing and in the end, Lucifer forgave them as in the end, these two were the only ones who always stood by his side.
Next, Stephen told his old tales about which how he once found a lost artifact that belonged to the royal mother of the dwarven empire and held a lot of importance for her hence to show their gratitude the royal family asked one of their craftsmen to create this pendant with the rare holy rock as its source.
As Stephen narrated his old adventures to Lucifer and Emma, Lucifer once again ran an appraisal on the pendant.

Looking at the pendant's description Lucifer was surprised as he found the status of the pendant changed and the grade of the item also dropped by two ranks.
[The rank of the item was so high due to the skills, Soul Purification and Blessings of Angels which both are high-tier skills but unfortunately, they were only one-time usable skills]

'Hey system I can understand about soul Purification skill but Blessing of angels which could cause any non-Awakener's element to mutate isn't it too a high-level skill how could it be used for enchantment'(Lucifer)

'Holy Rock is it the same one which the protagonist uses to build the staff for one of the heroines'(Lucifer)

[Holy gem is a special crystal that possesses the ability to mediate mana for faster magic casting and is used to build weapons]
[But holy rock is a sacred stone of angels which can absorb holy element energy and store it]
Lucifer listened to the system's explanation and Stephen also concluded his story.

Stephen can't tell the drop in rank of the pendant as only experienced blacksmiths or craftsmen could only tell.
And only Lucifer and Michael who both have a system for themselves could appraise these weapons and artifacts and identify their hidden functions of them like the skill Blessing of the Angels.
"It's noon already, I think I would be taking my leave as a lot of work is left to do"(Stephen)
Stephen said looking at his watch and was about to take his leave with Emma but suddenly halted in his steps and look back at Lucifer as if remembering something.
"Oh Lucifer, I almost forgot about it I ordered Joseph to renovate your place so you need to stay here for a week at least, hope you wouldn't mind"(Stephen)
"..no I won't "(Lucifer)
Lucifer wanted to rush to his place to extract the things Starter's Gift package has given him.
