28 28. Sibling Talks

(Hospital, Morisson Island)

Inside the hospital today was the most hectic day for the doctors who have been working here.

In the afternoon more than a hundred of the young talents of the Morrison family were all admitted at the same time.

The Hospital was fairly advanced and large compared to other hospitals on the planet and was amongst the best, but still, the staff was unable to handle today's workload.

All of the admitted ones were in serious condition, many have their limbs separated and crushed organs but nothing was untreatable for the doctors of this age, but they were still understaffed and due to many of the kids being brought late, it was even more problematic for them to deal with.

The doctor's problem doesn't end up there, they also had to face the parents of the kids who were all prominent figures of the Morrison household.

Parents argued with the doctors and some even beat them up for some foolish reasons as they were also very frustrated but were immediately contained by others.

Inside the biggest VIP rooms, a figure was surrounded by the doctors who were all exhausted from treating her.

After hours of surgery, the doctors finally breathed a sigh of relief that the girl is safe.

Every one of them was a normal human and wasn't awakened because if they were none of them would have chosen to be the doctors.

The majority of ones who don't awaken usually choose to become doctors, as for the reason?

Parents obviously, the trends haven't changed.

There are the awakened doctors who use healing spells and skills to heal others but it doesn't work for the person who isn't awakened as it may be harmful to the people to come in contact with mana as only awaken could contain it and rest would start to find their body getting corroded by mana which is fatal in the most of the cases.

Outside the room, the doctor who is a middle age woman was speaking with Ares and Elizabeth who were both very concerned about Sarah.

"..She is out of danger but her injuries aren't completely healed, the scars on the body will remain but with the proper medications they will be gone within a few months."(Doctor)

"Her injuries are serious and it would take at least a year for her to completely heal with the medications, but since young miss is going to turn seventeen in a few months it is better for having a healer to heal them"(Doctor)

"Doctor, can we meet her"(Elizabeth)

"I'm sorry to say this but no, Lady Elizabeth. We have to put her in a conservative capsule as she is still in a very weak state now and would probably take a few weeks for her condition to improve"(Doctor)

The doctor left the couple alone and Elizabeth burst into tears Ares hugged her and was trying to comfort her.

They both watched their daughter being carried by the prosthetic arms placing her into giant silver-colored capsules which looked the same as that VR capsules but was way bigger in size and a cyan liquid filled the whole capsule covering her head to toe.

Her mouth was covered with an oxygen mask and salines were attached to her arms along with other things which were jointly monitoring her condition.

"Why?"(Elizabeth)

"Why did have to turn out like this *sob* why did he do this to her*sob*"(Elizabeth)

"She never did anything bad to him and always was so kind to him and everyone, why did he turn out to be like this"(Elizabeth)

Crying pitifully she couldn't help but ask and raised her head from her husband's chest and looked at him in his eyes which were also filled with tears and were on the verge of falling.

"Eliz"(Ares)

"Did we do something wrong to Lucifer? Ares"(Elizabeth)

With the mention of Lucifer's name, Ares's eyes which were full of grief changed into full of hatred and anger.

He didn't know what sin he committed to having given birth to a monster like Lucifer.

Not losing himself to his anger he controlled himself.

"No, we didn't it-"(Ares)

"Oh you finally noticed"(Emma)

"Emma?"(Ares)

"I came in to check on my niece, but listening to your conversation I couldn't help but join in"(Emma)

Looking at his elder sister, Ares couldn't contain himself.

"It's your fault that Sarah is in this state now"(Ares)

"My fault?"(Emma)

"Yes, you and father."(Ares)

"You both are responsible for Lucifer's arrogance, his monstrosity, and ruthlessness"(Ares)

"If not for you both that damn brat didn't have the guts to do anything"(Ares)

"Lucifer is responsible for Sarah's condition and so does you both"(Ares)

*chuckles*

"Are we? " (Emma)

"That bitch of your daughter had it coming her way." (Emma)

"Don't act naive. We both know she is spreading rumors about Lucifer, finding ways to humiliate him, she isolated him from the rest of the kids and went as far as destroying his future by having her friend use a soul bomb on him"(Emma)

"If Lucifer hadn't beaten the shit out of her, I would have done it by myself" (Emma)

"Emma! "(Ares)

Ares shouted at Emma as he released his pressure of S rank on her but was careful not to cause any harm to his surroundings

Emma also didn't back down and released her pressure and dominated the battle.

Ares was now on his knees and was coughing up blood and looked up at his sister's cold eyes.

Emma took back her pressure and so did Ares to not cause any harm to the surroundings.

"So much anger for a daughter who isn't even related by blood towards your biological son? "(Emma)

"What a fool am I, to even have any hopes from you both."(Emma)

"It wasn't me who ignored him, who never did give him the love he was supposed to receive from his parents who even if they were also never cared for him"(Emma)

"Yes I favor him more, yes I admit I do and so does father but we both never did come for him and decided to let you both realize your mistake by yourself"(Emma)

"But we were wrong, it was the stupidest mistake we ever made to believe in you that you would gain some conscience"(Emma)

"And pathetic as ever you proved us right that you are incapable of being a proper parent for Lucifer"(Emma)

Emma who was now completely pissed at her brother and sister-in-law didn't hesitate to argue with them.

Elizabeth who saw the anger and disappointment in Emma's eyes felt a headache and her mind began to become clearer.

Emma sensed something wrong with Elizabeth and saw a black light flashing through Elizabeth's eyes which disappeared within a second.

"Are you alright?"(Emma)

Forgetting the topic for a moment and out of concern Emma held Elizabeth by her hand and sent her mana into her to check for anything wrong but didn't find any anomaly within her.

Elizabeth's mind returned to as it was and she looked at Emma with fog-covered eyes.

"Get out of here"(Elizabeth)

"Sist-"(Emma)

"I said get out of here, leave us alone please"(Elizabeth)

Elizabeth removed Emma's hand and went straight to Ares who was kneeling on the ground, in a cold tone she cried at Emma who was dumbstruck at Elizabeth's attitude.

Emma looked at Elizabeth in anger.

She was concerned about her but Elizabeth acting like this made her even more pissed at them and her goodwill towards Elizabeth reduced once again.

"I came here to give you the message from the father"(Emma)

"He had warned everyone, especially you Ares who decided to do anything against Lucifer will be punished or even worse will be exiled from the clan"(Emma)

"So don't even think about doing anything against him"(Emma)

Controlling her anger, Emma said the message with a straight face and left the two idiots on their own.

Leaving the hospital she wondered was the light she saw in Elizabeth's eyes was an illusion.

Or....something else?

Hello readers, I know most of you are pissed off by the fact of slow release rate.

I am also a reader and I know how annoying it is.

I'm really sorry but I have my hands full of other things now so it's really hard to write for the moment but I promise to mass release soon.
