21 21. Fight Between A Genius And A Monster

"Atlas, Congratulations on your awakening"

Lucifer said to the giant in front of him who looked calm but as he heard Lucifer's words, a surprise flashed through his eyes.

He hadn't told anyone his secret of awakening yesterday as his parents would be announcing it today.

So how could Lucifer know of it?

The surprise lasted for just a second and Atlas was back to his usual calm self.

He moved forward and covered Albert's body with his giant figure clearly showing his intention of not backing down and protecting Albert.

Lucifer watched Albert stepping forward but didn't say anything but all of a sudden his instincts kicked in and he raised his hand and grabbed the Atlas' giant fist which was headed straight for Lucifer's head.

The force was unlike any Lucifer had faced before but he somehow managed to block it.

'Click'

The force of the Atlas' fist made Lucifer take a step back and his right hand with which he blocked Atlas' punch got a minor fracture.

[Level. 1 Regeneration Acquired]

Lucifer acquired a new regeneration skill but he didn't pay attention to it as the other punch from Atlas was heading straight for him.

'I can't block him'

Atlas' strength is superior to Lucifer at this moment, if he hadn't acquired the Dominator title which doubled all his stats he wouldn't be able to block it.

With his right hand injured, Lucifer couldn't let his left hand get injured so he chose to avoid Atlas' all attacks instead of taking them head on.

Atlas was a bit slower than Lucifer but then also it was very challenging.

<Intuition Level increased>

With his higher combat skills and intuition skill, Lucifer was able to easily evade Atlas' attacks but if it goes on like this Lucifer will lose his all stamina.

"Earth Wall"

As Lucifer was evading his attacks, Atlas chanted his skill name.

Being just awakened he doesn't have proper control over his mana and skill proficiency so it took longer for him to evoke his skill, Lucifer wanted to create a distance between but Atlas' attacks didn't give him any chance to do so.

Just as he got an opportunity to create a distance his instincts screamed and instead of going backwards like he intended to Lucifer did a side step avoiding Atlas.

As he did Lucifer found the ground of the place he was supposed to be standing on if he went backward and a wall got created over there and Atlas who was supposed to be attacking him hit the wall with his fist and the wall he created got destroyed.

' So he gave the opening for me to take the bait for his trap '

Atlas was panting heavily as he was very tired by all this fight, at just F- mana his mana resources are not worth mentioning and just two moves like Earth Wall is enough to make his all mana drain.

All this fighting and mana skill made him very tired.

Lucifer's right hand was also completely recovered so he didn't give Atlas any chance to recover and went straight for his head, Lucifer's punch was blocked by Atlas but the arm with what he blocked broke.

'Click'

Even though his punch was blocked Lucifer spun around and launched a kick at Atlas which was also blocked.

'Click'

Atlas' other hand also broke and the force of Lucifer's kick made him take a step back and was about to lose his balance but somehow managed to remain standing, he looked up and saw a punch approaching for his face but was unable to do anything.

"Its over"

Lucifer's punch landed on Atlas' face sending him flying and the match between Atlas and Lucifer was concluded with Lucifer's victory.

Everyone who watched this fight first was surprised to find Atlas' awakening and we're sure that now Atlas would definitely defeat Lucifer.

How could a non Awakener could even defeat an awakener even though it was just a newly awakened one?

But the fight between Lucifer and Atlas refreshed their world views and once again made them remember that Lucifer here is not any normal genius.
