"The Crown Prince?" Cain said as I gave a nod. Valdemar had dropped me off in front of Cain's room as he inspected my fingers, "and the second Prince did this?" He questioned. I nodded once more. There wasn't any reason to deny it. I wasn't afraid of them, especially with Cain.

My brother had been startled to see the crown prince and me. To be fair, I probably would have reacted the same. Valdemar simply patted my back and walked away as Cain ran to me and ignored his friends.

I didn't get to ask any questions and neither did his friends as he shoved them out of his room. I waved at them as I could hear them grumbling that Cain was acting like an overprotective brother already.
