"Where is Subaru?" Felix asked.
Everyone was about to go to the place where the White Whale was, but Subaru was nowhere to be seen.
"He said he was going to train, but that was three-five hours ago ..." Rem said a little worried.
"... There's nothing we can do, it's time to go or the White Whale will wreak havoc if it reaches the city," Crusch said taking command of the situation.
"Don't you know where Subaru is going to practice?" Wilhelm asked.
"No, he never told us." Rem said with a sigh.
"Well, we have no options left, he already knows where and when the White Whale will appear so it will surely come," Crusch said as she got into a cart.
"Crusch-Sama is right." It was the last thing Felix said before getting into the car, too.
"TIME TO LEAVE!" Wilhelm exclaimed and everyone began to move.
An army of hundreds of people began to mobilize in the direction of the Flugel Tree.

Upon arrival, everything was completely calm ...
There was nothing out of the ordinary, but people could feel the tension and anxiety within them.
"..." Nobody wanted to speak or rather, nobody could speak. There was a growing fear in the environment.
RINGTONE
The phone began to ring a tune indicating that the time had come, but many people upon hearing the sound were alarmed.
"TROOPS, ON GUARD!" Crusch ad.
Nothing happened for a few seconds until ...
NOISE
In the sky, it was possible to distinguish a silhouette covering the moon. It could be seen how the White Whale descended from the skies slowly while frightening the army.
Army morale was slowly crumbling, but Crusch would not allow this to continue.
"ATTACK!" Crusch yelled.
The shouts of the army drowned out the latent silence of the place.
"AL HUMA!" Rem was the first to attack with an ice spell.
All the knights began to mobilize, and with that, a light ascended to the sky illuminating the battlefield.
The whale roared as its eyes adjusted to the sudden light.
Wilhelm took the lead while serving as bait for the Whale.
EXPLOSION
The whale had been hit by multiple explosions made by the most powerful wizards, but this did nothing but hurt it a bit.
The whale was preparing to devour Wilhelm, but an attack from Crusch's sword prevented this, Wilhelm took advantage of the distraction and jumped up to the Whale.
Wilhelm ran all over the whale's body while ripping the skin and muscles.
A stream of blood came out of the Whale flooding the sky and making a red rainbow.
The whale writhed in pain and managed to throw Wilhelm off its back, but this didn't do much for him.
Wilhelm managed to get back on his back to continue cutting the Whale.
CUT
Before falling again Wilhelm made an X-shaped cut.
EXPLOSION
Another explosion echoed through the sky. It seemed hundreds of times much more powerful than the previous one.
In an instant, Wilhelm went back leaped onto the whale's back, and managed to cut off one eye, only to fall gracefully back to the ground, while still holding the whale's eye between his sword.
ROAR
The Whale began to roar through his mouth and through a few bumps that opened around his skin.
The roar left the entire army deaf for a few moments.
A thick fog under the whale rendering the flare useless and obscuring the entire battlefield.
"WITHDRAWAL!" Crusch yelled, but many couldn't escape the Whale's mist.
Crusch had no choice but to push the fog off the battlefield to hold a Strategy Reunion.
"How many fell?" Crusch asked when she saw her companions.
"Twelve in my unit. We are three short." Said one of the generals.
"How many were lost?" Crusch asked.
"... Do not know." Said the general with great pain of not being able to remember it.
"Fourteen in mine. One deserted." Said another general.
"I have six. Sorry." Said another.
Nobody understood what was happening.
Nearby, gallops were heard from the mounts of the other troops.
"Did they come back?" Crusch asked when she saw Wilhelm.
"Excuse my haste. What's the situation?" Wilhelm asked.
"21 lost. Looks like it wiped out an entire platoon. We can't protect the honor of the fallen." Crusch said.
"I'm sorry ..." one of the generals apologized.
"Don't worry, it wasn't your fault ..." Said a soldier.
"Stay tuned, being in the fog, we don't know where it will attack. The worst thing we can do is stay together, we have to separate-" Crusch couldn't finish speaking.
SHOUT
Shrieks, screams, and sobs were heard from everywhere making everyone's bones freeze.
The knights began to fall in terror. The fog was driving them crazy.
"We'll all die if we stay like this. Tell everyone to regroup, I'll go and distract the whale." Rem said as she left.
"I'll go with her," Wilhelm said.
Rem did not have Subaru to attract the Whale, so other methods had to be used.
A horn grew on Rem's forehead at the same time, a flail appeared in her hand, and the flail that Subaru had given her was placed in the other.
The flail, like the armor, lit up in blue color, Rem felt that she would run out of strength if she continued to limit her use of Prana, but if she removed the limitation, then she would go crazy.
"Bah, it doesn't matter anymore." Rem said with a sigh as she began to absorb the Prana with her horn, but she didn't go crazy as expected. The armor consumed a lot of the Prana it absorbed and only left a certain percentage on Rem's body, enough to keep her from feeling tired.
Rem could see how the Prana absorbed by the armor was used to improve their capabilities and the flail, which was stronger than the one she already had.
Rem jumped on the back of his mount and miraculously managed to land on the back of one of the Whales.
With each blow of Rem's flail, you could hear the organs and internal tissue breaking inside the Whale.
But she was not alone, Wilhelm, Ricardo Welkin and the Pearlbaton brothers were with her.
Thanks to the pain, the Whale crashed to the ground to get rid of them, but no one fell, so the Whale rose through the skies with sudden movements, resulting in Rem and the others falling.
"Before I go, I'll take something from you!" Wilhelm exclaimed, cutting off the whale's dorsal fin.
Upon reaching the ground they encountered the mist again.
Rem and the others quickly regrouped with Crusch and the army.
"MIST!" Someone yelled causing them to quickly separate to avoid the attack.
Wilhelm's mount stumbled, resulting in Wilhelm ending up within the jaws of the White Whale.
The fog dissipated slightly only to rebel against three Whales.
The army had lost faith, but Rem rose from the mist and dust to continue attacking the whales.
"WHAT A PATHETIC! ... DON'T STOP, KEEP ATTACKING!" Rem yelled before being hit by one of the Whales and flying into the sky.
The blow left her stunned, but as she fell to the ground, she gathered herself.
"ATTACK!" She yelled once more, but before she could even scratch the Whale, his body was engulfed in mist and she disappeared.
- Somewhere else -
"Shit ..." Subaru whispered as he tried to drink a healing potion.
Subaru's body was totally bloody, beaten and his right arm was missing, but by drinking the potion, most of his wounds disappeared and a new arm grew. All he did was sit on the floor.
"I didn't think there were still enemies like that in dungeons at this level," Subaru said between laughs.
Next to it was the corpse of a giant praying mantis, at least the size of a building.
Subaru had no mana available and was severely tired, but something made his heart skip a beat.
[Curse voided.]
"... What curse?" Subaru asked in a silly way.
[Curse of the Mist of Elimination.]
Subaru recognized this fog as the one that removes people from memories just as it kills them.
"DAMN!" Subaru exclaimed as he used the crystal to exit the dungeon.
