Re:Negotiation Two
It had been three days since Subaru was a guest at Crusch's mansion, he had been practicing his skills hard and although he was making leaps and bounds in handling his sword, he was not really interested in much, it was a simple excuse he had to stay in the capital and Crusch's mansion.
Subaru was a user who gave more importance to speed than other things, and right now he was fighting Wilhelm.
The wooden swords collided with each other at great speeds, and the only thing that could be seen of Subaru was the simple sword, his body was going so fast that only trained people could see the speed he was handling.
At one point, Subaru stopped to rest. He wasn't too exhausted, but he wouldn't take this training really seriously.
"Thanks for his teachings," Subaru said bowing respectfully.
"Don't worry. Always a pleasure to help a fellow warrior." Wilhelm said, making Subaru just smile.
After a simple break, Subaru called out to Rem.
"Rem, let's go out," Subaru announced, and so the two left the mansion.
On the way, Rem wondered why Subaru had brought her with him, besides he kindly asked her to stay in the capital, and despite all the time they have been there, he has not told her anything about it.
Subaru and Rem went to what appeared to be a warehouse, inside were many people working to refine, move and carry the materials.
all of these were metals and so on.
But in front of all those people, one stood out. a tall man with golden hair. He wears a good quality suit with a limited amount of trim so as not to appear crude, giving the impression of a capable man. This person was Russel Fellow.
"Good afternoon. My name is Natsuki Subaru and I have come to establish an agreement." Subaru said in a respectful and confident tone.
Russel arched an eyebrow at his introduction.
"It seems like my introduction was a bit vague. Although I'm from Emilia-sama's campaign, I'm really acting lonely, alongside my companion." Subaru said pointing at Rem.
Russel, who did not recognize Subaru, managed to know who Rem was since she and her sister were always with Roswaal and since Roswaal supports Emilia, it was not difficult to know that the boy was telling the truth.
"What do you want boy?" Asked Russel a little annoyed. I was working and they were getting in the way.
"Don't be upset, as I said before, I'm here to make a deal, but it's extra-official since I don't really have the power to do it," Subaru said as he analyzed Russel's expression.
It was clear that Russel was disinterested in the agreement with Subaru, nothing that he had said was anything that caught his attention, other than presenting himself as a small link.
Subaru knew what impression he left on Russel in the first moment, but he had to make it clear that this matter was not something completely official, so if there was any inconvenience, he cannot claim or anything else.
"Well, here is what interests you," Subaru said taking out two bags full of metals.
These were not common metals. These metals were left behind by monsters from the dungeons. Whether they are iron fangs of certain wolves or even iron claws, and although they have the name of iron, it does not mean that they are really made of this material.
Russel was surprised and could see with the naked eye the quality of the material. Russel was drooling just to be able to look at him. (A / N: I must add that Lugunica's most expensive material is iron, and this is a fact.)
This amount of metal, added to the quality, could make anyone rich in a couple of hours, and now Russel had it in front of him.
"All of this can be yours, no need to pay money, I just need to borrow a couple of people from your troops, I also need your presence tomorrow night, just like I have an extra request," Subaru said giving him a paper.
"Do you only need this?" Russell asked in a daze.
"Yes, I just need that last one and all the material will be yours," Subaru said making Russel's eyes light up.
"Well!" Russel exclaimed with a smile.
Rem and Subaru left the scene heading to a certain restaurant.
Rem did not know where Subaru had gotten all that material, nor did he know what he was doing, he only spoke of agreements and alliances, but did not give information even to the supposed allies.
The suspicions in Rem's head began to fly again, but now they were somewhat different.
Given the amount of precious material that Subaru gave Russel easily, Rem could only think that perhaps it was a high position in the witch cult, having that amount is not a game, but there was also the possibility that Subaru was rich, but he just doesn't care much, which for her, is the most unlikely.
After a while of walking, the two of them arrived in front of a familiar restaurant, but before they set foot inside, Subaru said a few words to Rem.
"If I happen to get upset and leave, could you convince that young lady to go to Crusch's mansion tomorrow?" Subaru asked with a smile as he pointed at Anastasia.
Rem just sighed and nodded.
Subaru normally wouldn't get upset easily, but he knew what Anastasia's personality was like, and he would try to make Subaru annoy to get any kind of information out of his, and he knew where he should hit to get the information.
