Chapter 6: Gotta get those Dragon Balls! (Part 2)

It's the next day and, last night Bulma figured out I was teasing her after Artoria blurted out "But I thought it was Ki technique?"

Bulma then proceeded to 'kindly' ask what Ki is, to which I gave her an explanation, she was fascinated by Ki, though after said explanation she was mad I tried trick her and she tried hitting me, which her hurt her more than it did me.

After waking up early something that became a habit of Artoria and I during the five days we trained.

I was giving Artoria a few tips on hand to hand combat, when suddenly.

"Hello!" said voice behind us we turned around and was met with turtle. "Hello who are you?" I asked.

"My name is Turtle and I'm currently lost do you perhaps have any salt water?" he asked "I'll go check."

-Later-

"So wait your trying to get to the ocean?" asked Bulma while Turtle nodded, Bulma then heads in side and takes out a map.

"Well your heading in the opposite direction and the ocean is about 120Km South." said Bulma

"120 km it'll take me ten years to return to the ocean!" shouted the turtle. "Why don't I carry you, Artoria and I are pretty fast." I said Artoria nodded at my response.

"What no way! Its a waste of time and not our business!" Bulma objected "Yeah well I'm helping him anyway."

"Come one Artoria please talk some sense into him?" asked Bulma "Sorry Bulma but as a knight I refuse to stand by when someone is in need!"

"What!"

"It seems the vote is 2 to 1. Let's go Artoria." we both ran off, while Bulma stayed behind soon she heard the ground rumbling and looked over in the distance and saw a giant dinosaur.

She immediately remembered why Artoria and I joined her, that and I still have the four star ball she would've immediately ran off with it if I didn't keep it on me.

"Hey Bulma I thought you weren't going to join us!" I said with cheeky smile, "Oh shut up!"

We arrived at the ocean and turtle told us to wait for him while he brings us compensation, during that time I teach Artoria how to fly. I've already taught her Ki control exercises, that I made up.

The first one is trying to reshape the Ki ball you create, like creating simple shapes before moving onto 3d objects. The second is moving it around, I normally would recommended beginning going with straight, then turn and then zigzag. Keep repeating until it become easier to control your Ki. Though I recommend meditating it also improved Ki control.

While Artoria was excitedly flying around with Rage, I was meditating I concentrated Ki to my back and I felt a slight tingling sensation, it was barely there, I could barely make it out.

"So I'm not even close Huh?" I say as I looked up to the sky. "Goku I'm here!" said turtle on his back was an old man wearing a tropical shirt and sun glasses, it was master Master Roshi, Artoria then came down with Rage.

"Hello there, so turtle which one of these kids were the one that helped you now?" asked the Turtle hermit.

"Those two." the turtle pointed to me and Artoria. "I see I'm the turtle hermit Muten Roshi it's nice to meet you!" said the oldman.

"Hello I'm Son Goku and this is my friend Artoria." I introduced Artoria and I.

"It's a pleasure to meet you sir!" she bowed, while Roshi starts to rub his beard "I see so your related to Gohan."

"Yeah I am he's my grandpa."

"So how's Gohan been doing these days?" he asked again I became sort of sad "Sorry sir but he's sadly past away."

"Hmm....I see I'm sorry to hear that he was a great man." Said Roshi we took a couple minutes to mourn then the old man said "Well enough mourning. Come to me Immortal Phoenix!" shouted Roshi.

*Woosh!* A wave could be heard, as nothing came "Um! Master the Phoenix died of food poisoning a while ago." said turtle. How the hell does a Phoenix dies of food poisoning!

"Really? I wanted to give him eternal youth." he said disappointed "Um! Master Roshi can I have that around your neck."

"This thing? It washed up on my island one day." he said as he handed it over to me. "Goku is that a Dragon Ball?!" said Bulma in shock as she ran over to me.

"Yeah it is and you wanted to leave turtle!" I told her "Now what should I give you young lady." said Roshi as he looked towards Artoria.

"Me I'm okay I don't need anything!" said Artoria as she waved her hands. "Nonsense come flying nimbus!" shouted the oldman as a yellow cloud flew over to us.

"Artoria just accept his gift." I told her we'll need this to prove to the Ox-King we don't want the treasure in his castle. "We'll need it later." I silently whisper to her she nods.

"Okay I'll accept!....Um! How do I use this?" she asked "Simple." the old man tried to jump on it but he fell through it.

"Master only those pure of heart can ride it." said turtle "Don't ya think I know that!" he shouts.

"Anyway you try." Artoria nods and successfully jumps on it. I honestly wonder if it would accept me? Nah! I'm not gonna test it. Due to my past life's influence I doubt it.

"Hey is there anything for me!" said Bulma as she tries to coax the old man, who simply replies "Nope nothing left." Bulma falls down in shock.

"Like seriously does all your reaction have to be so dramatic?" I asked her.
